When I arrived to their office, nine sharp, there were people already waiting in the office. Unfortunately there was only one staff member and four or five people in front of me. I've rented from this place for years and I've never had a problem until today. The one staff took his sweet time with each customer before me. I think he was just trying to sell them on a couple of add-ons. Whatever he was doing, it was a super slow process. Finally around 9:30-9:35'ish, a second staff finally shows up, but she also took her sweet time talking with one of the car preps before coming up to me to sign me in. She gave me a cheap smile and we were shown the car. By that time, I was livid and told her to skip the walkaround and give me the damn key and sign the digital waivers. In either way, I never made it to my destination because it started raining halfway there and I was already exhausted and frustrated from driving. Even with the rain, we could've shaved off a good twenty-thirty minutes from the trip had they got me on the road in time. So if you're reading this, thanks for nothing! This was one of my personal days that I had to waste and figured I could spent it at some Ren faire all the way down in CT. Such a waste!

    Avoid this office. The rental car was dirty and in poor shape (Nissan Sentra 4 door with Maine…read moretags). The battery died. Enterprise charged me for two roadside assistance dispatches for one service to jump the battery. I am still in the process of sorting out the mess. The rep at the Hanover office took no responsibility for assisting with a resolution - maintaining that she was not a mechanic and had nothing to do with Enterprises Roadside Assistance component. Zero customer service from office staff.

This was not one of them. This was hands down the best experience I've ever had and it's not even close. I showed up and was immediately greeted by Jonathan Meehan. He was professional, courteous and direct, he introduced himself as Jon, shook hands and made solid eye contact showing he was involved and I wasn't just another customer. It's the day after thanksgiving and he immediately asked how my day was, intently and sincerely unlike most people who deal with customers all day. The conversation was unforced and engaging. He thanked me for my service twice, and couldn't have been any more welcoming or respectful. The guy has upper management written all over him. Not a doubt in my mind If I was an unhappy or disgruntled customer he would have been able to easily and fluently articulate, counter and navigate a conversation argumentative in nature with minimal to no confrontation. Being enlisted in the military you are forced to talk and work with a lot of people. My job is to literally evaluate subordinates on qualities including courtesies, professionalism, communication, and Jonathan is what I try and teach my employees to act like and project to the public. Today's visit to Enterprise and this single interaction put them atop of my list of rental car companies.

    Scam artists. This rental agency is in the same building as Best Chevrolet, which I love. I had to…read moreleave my car for service and Best was going to pay for the rental. I was responsible for a $18/day charge for insurance, which was fine. I had the car for 3 days, dropping it off on Saturday when enterprise was closed. I get a message this morning from Enterprise (from a blocked number, and with no return number left) saying "the final charge will be $347.00 for the 5 day rental." I called them back, after looking up the number since they didn't leave me one. I explained that I had the car for 3 days "Oh, well we were closed Saturday, Sunday and yesterday so we logged the car as back this morning." Then I told him that Best was paying for the rental and should only be charged ~$60. He said he'd check with his manager. I then called Best to let them know and they promised to straighten it out. I will never use this rental agency again.
