This completely ruined our Christmas / New Year family vacation. Despite having cars visibly available on the lot, I was told nothing was available, which was simply not true. The staff were unprofessional, dismissive, and dishonest, and their behavior felt discriminatory and disrespectful. I am filing formal complaints with Enterprise corporate, the Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, and the BBB. Do not use this location. Picking up the car was efficient and professional and I was recognized as a Gold Member and upgraded as a result. But the upgrade isn't the only reason for this positive review. The communication and appreciation for being a loyal Hertz customer won me over and I will use this Brockton Neighborhood location moving forward. Keep up the good work! My husband's truck was hit by someone who was at fault and their auto insurance picked up all costs…read moreof damage. Centerville Auto was where my husband was told to bring his truck for repairs and pick up a rental car (from enterprise rental in Brockton).A credit card was needed and a $100 refundable charge (once car is returned) was charged to the card - normal procedure. My husband returned the car yesterday to the auto shop (in better condition than it was received - gas, air in tires, vaccumed and cleaned). No one went over the car to inspect it, he got his truck and left. My husband got a call this morning saying he was not going to be getting his $100 hold back because there was a small crack in the front bumper. My husband told them that there was no crack. He had just washed the car, but there was a little mark in the back bumper when he picked it up that was noted. The person he spoke with said it's not their policy to have anybody look at the car over when you drop it off at an auto body shop. My husband called the insurance company from the other person's insurance explained what was going on and they said they can't really do anything unless enterprise files a claim. My husband called enterprise back and said he did not do any damage to the car and they said someone from their insurance would be contacting him. This afternoon, a $400 charge went through our bank from enterprise. It was not authorized, no call from insurance came through and it was never an amount discussed for the damage that was not even caused by my husband. The amount has been put into dispute with our bank, and the attorney general has been notified. Brockton Enterprise Rental was closed and we were not able to get in touch with them this evening. We are also putting the $100 charge in the dispute that was supposed to be refunded back to us. No scratch/crack was on the front bumper of the car when it was dropped off - what happened to the car (if anything) after it was picked up and brought back to the shop is on Enterprise, and not inspecting the car upon return delivery is on them. Charging ones bank account is illegal for charges that were never agreed upon or accurate.

Joe greeted us with a smile when we took a road trip last week to Ohio. Car ran nice was clean and overall no issues at all. I'd say a good recovery.
