Our garage door springs broke in the 4th of July. I reached out to Jesse, owner of Avila's Garage Doors thinking I wouldn't hear back till the next day or possibly Monday given it was a holiday weekend. I was so grateful to hear back with a few minutes of my call. I sent him a photo of the springs and luckily he was able to do repair the next morning, bright and early and at the agreed upon time. He was great. He explained the process, inspected the mechanics of the door and actually found a loose bracket that held the springs. He showed us the "give" in the bracket that was a huge safety issue. He fixed it for us. He was detailed in the inspection and clean about his work. We were extremely pleased with everything. Above all, he is a local small business owner and nice young man. We could tell he took pride in the quality of his work. We really appreciated his fine work ethics, something that unfortunately is hard to find these days. Look no more, Jesse is your guy for all things, garage doors !! We love supporting small business owners, they are our first choice read more

The spring broke on our double garage door. Jesse was extremely quick to respond and came out the same day to fix it. He was a pleasure to talk with and he was very informative as to what the best options were. While he was here I asked him about adding an opener for our second, single car door. He gave great advice as to what opener to get and went ahead and installed it. I liked it a lot and asked him to go ahead and replace the main opener too. He came back out and now we have two perfect working doors and we love them! His pricing is great, especially knowing that the job is done right. I could have done all of it myself, but I am glad I decided to have Jesse do it using his expertise and skill. read more

I have used him twice. He is on time, efficient and reasonable in price. Very hard to find reliable services in the valley

Jesse Avila is prompt, very professional and helpful. I would recommend him to anybody needing help in the garage.

Garage Door Opener was very noisy. I thought it was about to break. He checked it out and said motor was strong and all moving parts were in good condition. The chain pulley just needed to be greased. He showed me what kind of grease to get and told me how to do it myself next year. Very honest guy; very fair price for a service call. read more

I was lücky to find Jesse of Avilas Garage Door a few years ago. He fixed a problem with the garage door at the time, fairly priced and fast. I put his information in my contacts and I am so glad I did. I am now a widow and I had a real emergency the other evening. I looked up Jesse, called and texted my information and heard from him asap! The door "screeched" and wouldn't close all the way. Once again I got the BEST SERVICE - AFTER HOURS.. Jesse was amazing! He answered his phone as soon as I called, and was able to book a quick appointment to come out and fix my broken garage door opener. He showed up promptly on time and displayed a high level of expertise in a professional manner. Jesse triple-checked everything before he left and mentioned that his work came with a warranty as well. Jesse had a friendly and kind approach. Five stars all the way! Avila's Garage Doors is where it's at for a quick and convenient replacement. I needed to replace our original wood door from the early 1980s and Jesse did a great job! He gave me the best quote via Yelp using the pics and measurements I sent him. That was the price I paid; no surprises. Jesse did a really solid, clean and thorough installation. The door looks great and I'm very happy with the Liftmaster belt-drive opener I upgraded to instead of chain. Highly recommended! read more

Due to various reasons, I have used far too many garage door companies over the years without ever finding one I could have complete confidence in. This however, changed today after meeting with Jesse. I am confident I have finally found the one I will continue to use for the foreseeable future. He initially came out so he could see what I had going on and we scheduled a day for him to return to complete the work. He returned on that day, early as a matter of fact, completed everything exactly how he said he would, at the price quoted. Without question I highly recommend Jesse of Avila Garage Doors!! Cheers! read more

Jesse came first thing this morning diagnosed the problem and quickly and economically repaired our garage door!

On Friday, our Garage door started acting up. First, there were weird sounds, and then only a hum would emanate when depressing the button. No movement at all from the motor, or the door. I am pretty sure this Genie was the original one installed when the house was born, in 1999. On Monday, I requested a quote using YELP from two highly reviewed companies in the Coachella Valley. Jesse from Avila's responded quickly, detailing it could be various issues. He agreed to come by the next day to trouble shoot. No mention of a service call fee whatsoever. The second company merely sent a note saying the motor was probably fried, and that I would need a new one. That would cost $400 for a regular sized door, and $450 if our door was 8 feet tall. It isn't, and you are FIRED!! Jesse from Avila's arrived on Tuesday and checked out the unit. After a few minutes, he stated a new unit would in fact be necessary. He mentioned that he could install either a chain, or belt drive unit off of his truck. Both prices were lower than the ones listed above. He did recommend the belt drive because it is quieter. He also assured me that Chamberlain would be his preferred choice. But, there was a third option. He said I could get my own unit, and he would merely charge me an installation fee. If I went this route, I could save circa $100. This gave me time to do scour online and I ended up ordering a WI-FI ready Chamberlain motor on Amazon that same day. Repeat after me......two day delivery. On Friday, Jesse came out and performed the installation. He was very communicative and gave me the feeling that my business was very important. I felt bad because I chatted him up, but he came across as honest and trustworthy. In the end, I forked out $282 total for a professional job. Jesse impressed with his knowledge and humble demeanor. He was also very consistent with updates and answers via email. If you EVER require some work on your garage door, do not hesitate in contacting Avila's first. You will not regret it. read more

Our garage door wouldn't open. I called Avilas and spoke to Jessie who said he would come out the next morning. He came out at 8am, replaced the spring on our door, serviced the door and explained what he had done. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable and did not overcharge. I would recommend him highly and wouldn't hesitate to call him again if I had any other door issues. read more

Don't be a sucker! Call Jessie. I spent a LOT of money on an advertised, recommended company in January. Totally wrecked the door for a lot of money. Thought I had to spend $1000's and wait time, for a new door...THIS time, I waited. He came, installed LOTS of hardware, serviced the motor for a couple of hundred dollars. Gave me a recommendation W-40. My door is silent and looks like new. I couldn't be more happy. read more
