The staff here are so friendly and welcoming! Ann really listened and used her knowledge to create the color and look that I wanted for my hair. I am especially impressed with Nina, who did my nails. I am very particular about how my fingernails are filed, and she did them absolutely perfectly before I even had a chance to say a word or try to sneak the file myself. She also worked some magic on an ugly toenail from being injured 10 years ago. I'd pretty much given up hope on it, but she made it look like a brand new, normal toenail! Booked an appointment for a massage and brow wax back to back. The salon, citing "staffing issues," changed the appointment so that the services were scheduled with 2 hours in between them. I had to call and ask them to change this. Booked again for an eyelash lift and tint and massage. Again, the day before, they texted me saying that their tech has "personal issues" and needed to cancel. They wanted me to reschedule for "Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday." Do you think there might be a reason I scheduled it for a weekend to begin with? Just realize that they don't view your appointment times as binding in any way. read more

Shawn has been styling my hair for almost a year and I couldn't be more delighted. She pays attention to detail and even recommended a perm which I never thought I would have another. Now I can't imagine not having one, my hair is healthy with plenty of bounce and body to either quick run out the door or spend time styling for a more finished look. read more

On a whim, my sister and I had wanted an impromptu mani/ pedi. We called around and found A' vie. They went above and beyond in customer service as to call 2 mail techs in to do our nails. The nail dip (ombré) took a while to remove. She was patient to remove them and handled my nails with care. The nails lasted the whole time minus growth. I'd rebooked a other appointment and nails can put great yet again. If you are thinking your going to get a hand massage after, that doesn't happen at this salon. I miss the little massages but I'd take better nails than a little massage. read more

AWFUL. Absolute nightmare. Do NOT go here for your special day, you'd be better off sticking your head in a fan. I booked A'vie for my bridal and wedding party hair and makeup. I went in for a trial about a week before my wedding and left in tears. I was there for 8 hours. The stylist Shawn was YANKING on my head and back combing my hair for about five of those hours. I was actually poked in the eye with an alligator clip. She was watching YouTube videos because she didn't know how to do the style I wanted. I would be fine with that but she never figured it out. I found out later she blamed this on getting interrupted constantly but that's just not true. Owner Carole was polite but I was shocked when she still charged me for the torture I endured. It was too late to go somewhere else so with the assurance of the owner Carole we decided to trust that the day of would go better. It did not. Fortunately I had already arranged a fried to do my hair but my poor bridesmaids looked awful. One left in tears. Two paid just so that they could get out of there and go redo their hair. Shawn and Ann were rude, shamed a new mom for hair regrowth and took no responsibility for their lack of skill. Please go somewhere else. Even if this is your last option. Don't go here. I loved my experience at this salon. I'm having neurosurgery soon and my stylist Shawn couldn't have been more accommodating. I want my hair done because I won't be able to for awhile after. The receptionist is a delight and so helpful when I unexpectedly needed to reschedule. Shawn did a color correction and did a beautiful job. Due to my pain from my disease I had to leave early. It's comfortable and welcoming, everyone always greeting you with a smile. I always feel at home. I love the way my nails turn out every time. I was frustrated at the end of this visit hearing the price for a trial bridal makeup and hair appointment ($300) Throughout the appointment, I was reminded that this was just a trial run and the final product would not be what the day of product would look like. I really would have liked to have more transparency when it came to pricing at this organization. I also think that if a trial is treated as a trial it should not be the price of a day of hair and makeup appointment. This is not the place to go if you are on a budget for your wedding. Ann did my hair color and cut for a last minute appointment to boot. She made me look gorgeous! She took time with me to answer all my questions about the services and products they offer. They sell Aveda hair products and Eminence organic skin care products. I bought the Aveda leave in spray conditioner. I was very pleased with the products after using them for a couple of days. I look forward to come back to get a facial and massage. I got to meet the owner and she was the sweetest! She gave me good advice, as did Ann. I am very glad I happened upon this place. She took great care, asked for input along the way to make sure I was satisfied, and gave one of the best feet and leg massages I've ever had. Just got my nails done at A'vie. I went in to get an ombre ballerina shaped full set. There were protocols being followed due to Covid-19 such as masks/gloves being worn and a glass panel between us which made things a little more challenging. The whole process took 4 hours. By the 3rd hour I decided to get a solid color because I just wanted to leave. Everyone at the salon was nice and personable but I could not believe it took 4 hours. I would not recommend going here. My stylist was kind enough to offer me a correction after my first unfortunate hair highlighting, but the correction made it worst. Again, she was compassionate enough to provide me with an additional corrective service, but that didn't do anything to help either. My hair is brassy, uneven, and after trying for so long to get it back to its healthy state- it is now dried and damaged. read more
