I wanted to take a moment to recognize Justin at the Fairfield Branch on North Texas St. for the…read moreexceptional customer service he provided during my recent rental experience. We encountered an issue with our original rental that could have easily made an already busy travel day much more stressful. From the moment I brought the situation to Justin's attention, he was attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to helping. He listened to my concerns, took ownership of the situation, and did everything within his ability to make things right. I left feeling not only taken care of, but genuinely valued as a customer. What stood out to me even more was that my experience with Justin wasn't something that appeared to be reserved for my situation. During both pickup and drop-off, I had the opportunity to observe him interacting with other customers in the office. He was consistently patient, personable, and attentive, even while managing multiple demands at once. The level of service I received was clearly representative of how he approaches his work. I also noticed the way Justin interacted with his teammates. He treated them with the same respect and consideration he showed his customers and was willing to step in and help where needed. As someone with a background in Human Resources, I pay attention to those things. How an employee treats customers is important, but how they treat their colleagues when they don't necessarily realize someone is watching says just as much about their character and professionalism. Justin represented Enterprise extremely well throughout our experience. Employees like him are the reason customers remember a company positively after something doesn't initially go as planned. I hope his leadership knows what an asset they have on their team and that he receives the recognition he deserves. Please extend my sincere appreciation to Justin for taking such great care of us. It is team members like him--and the level of service he consistently provides--that have kept me returning to this Enterprise location year after year.

When we got there, the front door was locked, and we were told through the window that there were no vehicles available. An employee I have rented from many times asked to see my reservation, which I showed him on my phone. He stated that he had already informed the third-party booking company that there were no vehicles available. However, no one from Hertz contacted me to let me know my reservation could not be honored. I then noticed at least 20 vehicles parked in the back and behind a fence and recorded them on my phone. When I asked about those vehicles, I was told they were all reserved. I explained that this situation was costing me a significant amount of money and creating a major inconvenience. Instead of showing professionalism or empathy, the front office employee laughed at me and said, "That's why you aren't getting a car." He was correct -- I did not get a rental car from Hertz that day, despite having a confirmed reservation. I have been a loyal customer for years, but after this experience and the way I was treated, I will NEVER rent from this location or any Hertz again.

We definitely can't say the same for Budget's national customer service line or the office on 4th avenue in the Sodo district in Seattle. Not impressed at all. As a tip, there is a Valero gas station real close to this Budget office. Wish we knew about this instead of scrambling to find a gas station to fill up the truck before returning it.

Being less than a mile away from where we were at the time we called we decided to drive there. We were greeted by a funny and polite man named ISA and the woman behind the counter Monica was very friendly. We had a great conversation and left feeling like we were part of their company family. The Toyota we rented was clean inside but all the windows were extremely dirty. We returned the car early as the visit we had planned didn't go well and ended quickly. Upon returning the vehicle we were greeted by another gentleman named Alfred who was extremely professional and friendly. The whole process was efficient and effortless. Definitely worth giving 5 stars even with the dirty windows. Thank you

Well I don't rent from Avis very often.....in fact this may have been only the 4th time I have…read morerented from them in the past 15 years. This particular location was odd because it was inside a Sears Auto Center. The Customer Service Rep we talked to was somewhat pleasant but she reminded me of why I don't do business with Avis on a regular basis. Let me start by saying the only reason we booked this car was because we wanted to have a backup in case my sister-in-law's car was not up to our satisfaction. Well as it turned out it wasn't so we decided to rent a car and the rate was awesome......only $102.00 for a 4 and half day rental. We reserved an intermediate car and were lucky enough to get a brand new Volkswagon Jetta with only 63 miles on it. Now because it was new the agent wanted to make sure we really took care of it and was talking about how there would be a 250.00 charge if the car was returned "Excessively Dirty" I was like what are you talking about it is a RENTAL it doesn't matter how a rental comes back as long it is not damaged or you don't smoke in it etc.....She also said there would be a $10 a gallon charge for gas if we didn't bring it back full. I was thinking who charges that.....because it is usually only a buck or two more than the local area gas stations. So needless to say she was very concerned that with this being a new car that we take care of it.....including having it detailed if it got to dirty. Let me say under no circumstances that I would ever have any RENTAL car detailed. I even had to go back and ask about floor mats and she pretty much gave me a used one for my side and a towel for the passenger side. So it seems to me if she was concerned about the car so much there would have been at least some floor mats for the new carpet in the car. So her response after all of that was well "it is a rental so it will get dirty but anything within in reason is fine" I was like whatever. So again this is why I don't rent from Avis and if I can avoid them I won't be renting from them again unless I get a VERY GOOD rate. Eat, Drink, and be Merry my Friends!!!!!

I had to rent a car here as my car was getting a major warranty recall worked on that was going to take a week or so. I had booked the car online Monday night and picked it up on Tuesday morning at 8am (hours are 8am-6pm). Michaela, Rachel and another lady that I encountered there were super friendly and very efficient. I had initially paid for the car out of pocket, but later in the day, the dealership where my car was getting serviced approved a rental car, so I got a call from Rachel and was told that she will change the account to being paid for by my dealer and they will refund my card once I return the car. When I returned the car the following Monday, was told that my initial charges and deposit for the car will be refunded as I was told on the phone. I needed a ride back to the dealership and was offered a free shuttle service to the dealership to pick up my car. This is probably once of the best experiences I have had at a rental car company. I asked Abraham (Hertz) so that's it that's all I got I was counting on that car, is that as far as your help goes like no other option like a bigger vehicle like other place where I might be able to pick one up like nothing, he said and I quote "That's on you to figure it out". I always tend to go with Hertz when renting a car. However it's been a while since I needed to rent…read morea car and it appears Hertz has really gone down hill. This location is especially bad. I spent quite a while looking online for a car and finally reserved a premium car online to pickup at 12pm at this location. When we get to the tiny office it's closed with a sign saying be back in 15 min. Considering there was 4 people waiting already it had been a while. When the lady finally returns she doesn't apologize for the delay nothing, in fact she has a look on her face like she's bothered by all these people here. Attitude doesn't change once we get inside. Frankly she should not be in a customer service position. Anyways after waiting for all the people ahead of me I tell her I had a reservation. By the questions she asked they had not even looked at my reservation. She pulls it up and informs me she doesn't have that car. I ask her what am I suppose to do as I did reserve the car online and had a confirmation and everything. She couldn't give me an answer, basically I'm sol. Tried calling Hertz and apparently they have joined the outsource your customer service to Indian bandwagon. HORRIBLE customer service, they could not care less about the issue I am having, all they do is repeat the same thing over and over hoping you just hang up in exhaustion. Called again asked for US support and surprisingly they transferred me to someone in the US. Night and day difference, I explained the issue and she immediately contacted the location, told me all they had there was a minivan and a pickup truck. She then tried to locate something in other locations and basically there was nothing other than a Taurus at the airport. So WHY I was given the option to not only book the car I did, but I could have also booked any other number of cars it showed available when in fact all that was available in the whole area was a Taurus??? Over 2 hours of my time and gas to drive to this place completely wasted. Can you imagine had I been coming on a flight or something and had no other transportation?? Amazon can delivery an elephant to my front door next day, but Hertz can't even keep track of what vehicles they have? Needless to say I'm over Hertz.
