I told them I would try and call them if it didn't work. I went home, tried what they told me and Viola.. it worked! Thanks to the great team. Also the building is in one of the best locations. For me, the communication was fine until I was there but after the lease ended, they were unprofessional in there behavior. I ended up loosing nearly a thousand bucks extra on move out and never heard back about my security deposit. I got ghosted after I asked for details about the matter. On my final day, my friend tried to deliver the key at the end of the day but they were closed. He returned it the next day but they charged me rent for that day. Lesson learnt, always leave the keys inside the apartment to not get charged by Holland Residential. So my advice would be to clarify the details you care about beforehand to avoid sneaky surprises.

The personal gym is spacious and well-equipped. The rooftop deck is truly a Showstopper, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline and Sound. It's an ideal spot for relaxing, socializing, or simply taking in the stunning Seattle scenery. I have had nothing but good times since I moved here.

I also appreciated that they would give a heads up on repairs or inspections well ahead of time so we were informed. I lived in the A building and the space itself was spacious and cozy for a studio apartment. My least favorite part was...like many people have mentioned, the walls are super thin and if you're sensitive to noise, it can be really difficult to sleep depending on what your neighbors are doing. Even if your upstairs neighbor was just walking, it would sound like they were lifting weights or dropping things. During my time here, there were multiple instances where people were yelling/arguing and you could hear everything which was not pleasant. I know this was out of management's control and they could only do so much. Along with that complaint, there were also many outages that would happen which is inconvenient if you work from home and they hiked up laundry prices quite a bit.

They took our application and deposit, sent us a welcoming letter, directed us to their platform to sign the contract (which we did) and get utilities and renters insurance set up (which we did). More than a month have passed that they received our deposit and I'm waiting for a refund. This company made me waste precious time and funds to find an apartment, assuring all along that I had one. I had to delay my move because of them.

Not only is there this great roof top, there is also a party room, a movie room, a misc. room, a gym, a spa, a sauna, a steam room, a business center, and even a conference room. The lobby is great too with the fireplace and seating area.

Yikes. Lived in the Huxley for a little over the year. It started off fine but then went downhill…read morequickly. Let's start with the good. It's pretty. It was brand new when I moved in so this is to expected but worth calling out. It's an aesthetically pleasing building. It's also conveniently located within walking distance of the Alaska Junction which is great. Now the bad: We had 3 property managers in 12 months, none of whom were interested or invested in actually managing the property. The trash chute or elevator would break at least once a month which when you live on the sixth floor is pretty frustrating. There are also virtually no amenities in this building. For the price you'll pay, you'd expect a few extras like a game room, theater room, rooftop fire pit or even something as small as free coffee. You can get all of this at the apartment complex across the street so I'm not asking too much here. We did have coffee for all of two months... then they stopped offering free cups. I get the sustainability angle but when do I ever just have a mug on me? Honestly it seemed more about cost cutting that it did about saving the planet. Lastly you might as well consider your deposit a donation because you will never see it again no matter how spotless you leave your apartment when you move out. It's callous. All in all, the Huxley was an overpriced place to live for a year. I didn't know any better. Wouldn't do it all over and would highly recommend you keep looking...

My gf and I have been living at Squire Park for over three years now. Overall experience has been…read morepositive. The apartment is pretty new, when we moved into our unit no one had lived in it yet. Nothing super fancy about the interior but from the different units we saw, you do get a lot of space. Washer and Dryers are in all units. There are two garages both are accessed controlled with a garage door which is great. I'd say though both doors are really slow, would be great if it went a little faster. They recently in the last 1-2 years installed video cameras throughout the property which is nice to help feel a little more secure. For the most part we've had great relations with most of our neighbors and the apartment manager Ariana has been great as well. Squire Park is located above the International District. In my opinion pretty centrally located. To head northgate, south center or even Bellevue Downtown I'd say it's about the same time 20-25mins depending on traffic. Getting off and on to the freeways is pretty easy as well. You have a lot of options hitting I5 N or S and jumping onto I90. You could also very easily get to 520 locally if necessary as well. For us this is important because we typically drive all over the place so the ease of heading in any given direction is great. Overall cost is actually not bad at all. We've looked all over Seattle, from Cap Hill, Queen Anne, International District. Price for an apt here we would say is on the avg to low side. If you include all the additional costs, parking fees, pet fees, cleaning fees etc. Those typically are a lot more expensive other places i'd say they charge about half of what most people charge for the area. Apartment is right on the bus line. The metro picks up right in front of the apartment which is great to have. Lots of regulars when I worked downtown it was really convenient. There is also a bike lane right in front as well so that is another option. Jackson does get busy and a bit lout but thats what you get for having an apartment right on a main st. Security here is pretty good no real issues at all, there are two officers that patrol the neighborhood in general which is nice. Most folks abide by the dont let people follow you in rule. For this area we don't have to many issues. We take our dog out for a walk day or night and haven't had any problems. Having the park near by is nice, typically gets pretty rowdy during the spring/summer time. In general a decent neighborhood, we've had friends park on the st and in the neighborhoods and haven't heard of anyone getting their cars damaged. Reasons why they aren't a 5 out of 5. - To many apartment managers. We've had 2-3 managers in the time we've been here. In our opinion they have all been great. Right now we have Ariana and she has been awesome, but it sounds like they are going to switch again which becomes frustrating because you develop a great relationship with one and now gotta start all over again. - No real amenities. There is a nice roof top deck that is nice, but there is no gym or media room. If the apt cost a little more I would really expect to have all of that. - They do have some storage units but for the most part relatively limited in how many they have.

I'm not sure if I'd quite rate it as "I'm a fan" of this place but it has its good and bad…read more PROS: It's not a bad location - it's within walking distant to chinatown and Red Apple (although I'm not a big fan of Red Apple, they don't always have everything like Safeway.) 5-10 minutes from downtown Seattle/Space Needle. The apartment is new so its appliances and counter tops looks modern. It has microwave, so you don't have to worry about buying one. I like the view from my apartment, even though it's just buildings, houses, and trees. I just love being able to see beyond someone else's windows. It has that peaceful feeling but then it really depends on which unit you get and which direction it faces. The higher your unit, the better because the lower units doesn't really have much views. But I LOVE, LOVE the large windows. On a sunny day, you can feel the sunlight hitting into your apartment, it just brings so much energy into the apartment! You do get your own little patio, a very small one (again, depends on which unit. The manager is very laid back. If you have a problem, they generally get to it right away. It's more like a small community since the apartment doesn't have very many units. CONS: This apartment can be very loud!. First is from the road noise second, your neighbours, then third, people on the street. If you don't live on the 6th floor, you'll hear a lot of things. I feel like this apartment has very thin walls. Although it's not thin enough where I can hear every conversation, but enough where I can hear people talk, have sex, play loud music, slam their doors, etc. Even though they have double pan windows, the road noise is ridiculous. If you live on the side where the road is, wow, you need to get use to it. You can hear every car, truck, bike, bus, people passing by. And for some reason, there has been an increase amount of sirens passing by this street. I also feel obligated to mention that it's located very near a bread company. So at night, you'll hear their BIG truck passing through! It's a little better during the winter time because you don't have your windows open but you'll still be able to hear the big trucks and people's voice on the street. Summer time is the worst - not only does it get extra hot during summer time. I feel like this place doesn't ventilate well or maybe it is just my unit. (But to be fair, in Seattle, you don't get a lot of hot days. So you don't often open your windows.) You have to pay for garage parking $45/month. (There are street parking) No gym/fitness room. Some units has very limited storage space. It's pricey. So despite all the cons - I do like this place. I've gotten use to the road noise and my obnoxious neighbours. It's very close to my work And the wide open windows, plus the view - it just makes it extra homey for me.
