The apartment I visited had large windows but the view was utterly ugly with concrete and dead trees. The windows looked like it's been a while it hasn't been washed. Not sure if it's from the inside or the outside. The cabinets look nice. Washer and dryer are dated. It's not gas stove as shown in the pictures. The blinds look old. It's better to visit in person and find out if it would work out for you. It's not a bad place to rent. However the stench from the Bank of America entrance right next to The Cobb's entrance was unbearable: an incredibly strong pee and mold odor that made me want to throw up! So I ended up not applying.

I've been a resident of The Cobb for close to 2 years, and I would like to give a special shout-out…read moreto the leasing and maintenance team. As a life-long apartment resident across various states and countries - I have never met a team so competent, patient, responsive, and willing to work with the residents (and their fur babies!). Ben and Luis (Leasing Office Managers), Russ (building super - who made my cat a string toy with his own hands!), the cleaning crew are all unsung heroes navigating through the craziness of COVID and everyday operations of a 100+ year-old building so gracefully and effectively. I highly recommend this building due in large part to all the above (besides the obvious beauty and charm of living in a landmark Seattle building). 5 stars!

Wow. What a stunning property in a prime location. Spire is a 40-story, 343-unit condominium…read morebuilding located on the border of the Belltown and Cascade neighborhoods in downtown Seattle. The building was completed and ready for move-ins in 2021. Simply put, it's modern, luxurious living in the heart of Seattle. I have to admit, I think one of the coolest things about this place is the automated parking garage underground. When you return home, you conveniently park your car in one of multiple bays after which it's lowered and "filed" away into storage. At the time of writing this review, this is Seattle's only automated parking system (and it's also the city's first). The entire property has a really sleek, contemporary design. The common areas look lifted off the pages of a magazine with extra-high ceilings and chic furniture, fixtures, and decor. There was always at least one or two concierges staffing the front desk downstairs, and they were always nice and polite. The building has incredible unobstructed views, especially from the outdoor "Sound Terrace" on the 40th floor. You can see Elliott Bay, the Space Needle, Lake Union, Amazon HQ and the rest of the city skyline, and more. The property is also quite secure and the elevators are among the fastest I've experienced anywhere, residential or commercial. Nepalese cafe Himalayan Java moved from Lynnwood and opened on the ground level of Spire in August 2022. Their Honey Latte is good. I've been to the new apartments coming online like Ren, Onni etc and I'm happy I'm at Insignia. This place is for those that want a top notch management team who cares about its residents and tries to make it the best living experience for all. There's community here if you want it, ease to host for your own social events, and a location that doesn't make you spend over $100 on on demand electric scooters just to go overspend on a dinner or a drink.

They have 1 and 2 bedroom places, with just a few 3 bedroom places which I believe are all sold already. It was awesome that they were honest about one side of their building's view will be blocked once the Nexxus building goes up across the street with 41ish floors too. This location is right down the street from Amazon's new headquarters building and pretty walkable to most everything else. Parking is available where owners get 2 spots and some storage below the building. HOA costs seem pretty steep to me ($1500-2200+/month?), but I am also not a city dweller, so maybe this is normal. You do get a front door person (building is locked at all times), access to a great work out area, movie theater, party room, sun deck areas on the almost top floor, as well as a dog poopie area (never seen this before) with fake grass and a spraying hose--even a decorative fire hydrant for dogs to get that city feel while several stories (I forgot how many), so you don't have to go outside of the building to have your dog go to pottie. All-in-all nice place. Just wish I saw it while there were units on the other side with the view that isn't blocked/won't be blocked.
