My fiancé and I moved here from CA a little over a month ago for his job. First off, I want to say we looked at a total of 13 different apartment complexes in 4 general areas of Seattle, and CityLine was the first one we saw. Here are some reasons why we rounded back and chose CityLine, and why were so happy we did. Robin, Aimee, and Rachel (management/office staff) are so kind and helpful. For example, we were flying up with our cats and couldn't bring supplies on the plane, so they let us purchase them ahead of time when we were visiting to sign the lease and they held them until we got there. They also set up fun get togethers for residents (most recently pumpkin painting). Maintenance is super responsive as well. Brandon came by within 24 hours when I completed my move-in checklist to fix a couple things, and then also took the time to show me other features in the apartment and how to do things to prevent needing service. The property is VERY clean (including the inside of the apartment buildings) and is beautiful at night. The finishes in our apartment are very nice and modern, with fantastic appliances. Lots of closet space and the bathrooms are spacious as well. CityLine's location is really great too. 2 minute walk to the light rail station, and the little downtown area of Columbia City (including a library if you're a reader like we are) is a short walk away too. Not too long of a drive to downtown Seattle either. My only wish location-wise is that Target were closer (closest is at least a 15 min drive), but that's not a big deal. We haven't taken advantage of all the amenities yet, but there are so many (including a bowling alley!). We love that there is a secure package room and handy app that goes along with it. The club houses (there are two, a larger one on one side of the property and a second on the other) are great and you can reserve them to host parties if you want. Our only wish is that the fitness center be larger, though the equipment is quite nice. Overall, we love it here, and feel like we get a lot for our money rent-wise. We're very happy we chose CityLine out of all the places we saw. read more

Imagine a world where it's illegal for a landlord to make it mandatory to use a single internet provider, but it's not illegal for them to make you pay for one, so long as you give them the option to pay for an additional provider of their choosing. Cityline exists in that world. Not only is our rent raising an a rapid rate (literally the cap it can rise), but all other fees and costs are rising too-- renters insurance, pet ret, parking spots, the mailroom, etc. and through all of this Cityline unilaterally decided that they should cut a deal with Gigstream to have all tenants pay for their internet services. Internet service isn't a utility. The decision to use an internet provider can be based on cost and security concerns. I contacted Cityline and they said that I have the option to pay for an additional internet provider, so long as I keep making payments to Gigstream (for a service I wouldn't be using). With what money? Literally every company, and now our own landlords, are trying to bleed us out of every cent they can. Everything about Cityline's deal with Gigstream flies in the face of a free market, who is paying for an extra service when the mandatory fee for Gigstream is $70 a month? In short, Cityline does not care about its residents. This place is designed to bleed you out. read more

I just want to say in the case of this complex MFTE is a joke. Before I applied, they told me the unit was 1,736/month. I knew I couldn't afford that because my income is low and decided to try for MFTE which supposed to help people who have limited income. I learned that it's not true at Cityline because after I did the paperwork to see if I eligible for MFTE (I was denied). The problem I have with them is that they are a joke. I was told that my rent be the same after going through the MFTE process. I just don't want to be tricked like I was. read more

I would 100% recommended anyone to live at CityLine. I personally do not live there but I have visited my friend on a few occasions and I just love the community feel this place offers. Very poor security. In the "secure garage" my car has been broken into twice and stolen once. I watched the video of the culprits breaking into the building with a screwdriver in less than 5 seconds. The police said that a lock guard would improve that. When I asked management if they could consider adding improvements, they told me that would be "hard because of COVID." Then, I bought a new car, drove home, and they had given my parking spot away. I do not recommend spending your money here as it is not worth it because of poor security and poor attention to tenant services. read more

I was here for 4 months since my job made me relocate, and even though the neighborhood and location was better than Ballard, and I truly liked my apartment, there were some services that truly dropped the ball, and leasing messed up big time. The unit itself was great, I was in a top floor studio in building A and it was truly lovely and quiet, the gym and bowling alley were great perks to have downstairs. Now the problems. First, they could not setup my phone with the callbox, so I couldn't receive any deliveries or visitors who didn't contact my phone directly. I asked 3 times and they never fixed it so I gave up. The package room was a mess all of the time, and I know a lot of my neighbors had stuff stolen. Also the trash chute was very narrow and management would not provide alternatives for anything that wouldn't fit there, which was a big inconvenience. And the biggest issue was move out. I got a new job that unfortunately had me do a lease buy out, I spoke with the office more than once to set expectations, and everything seemed clear, but at the time I gave my notice they just kept messing up. First they charged me less than what I owed, so they decided to add an unexpected charge AFTER my lease had ended, instead of paying me my deposit. Also, I asked how to return the keys, since I was leaving the state, they said to leave them in the kitchen, then after I did that they accused me of defaulting on the lease even though rent for the remainder of my lease wasn't due yet (it wasn't the 1st), they had not generated a bill for it, and I had already paid for the buyout of the lease. I wish I could recommend this place because the apartments are nice, but management is awful and even the billing office can't add 1+1 in order to generate the correct bills. read more

Loved living here, they always had the grass nicely kept and the walkways clean and clear. The gym, package room and amenities room always clean and smelling good. Also the maintenance guys are AWESOME. You put in a request for anything and they really show up ASAP they also leave cute gifts like popcorn with a card and I love that detail sm. The only con is that they like to increase rent after your lease ends so if you get it at a good price I recommend getting a LONG lease so they don't increase your rent. Other than that no other complaints the leasing managers are so attentive and patient and the people living there are not bad at all. 10/10 recommend living here frfr read more

I just moved and I already miss this place. The community is what makes it special - I loved the diversity throughout, and meeting neighbors who were from all over the world. Robyn and Kevin are great managers who are fun to chat with, easy going, and accessible. My move was stressful, and Robyn made sure I was in a good shape when I found out I needed to move quickly for work. Made things less stressful! Jim and Remi keep the place clean, and well-kept. The entire maintenance team is onsite working daily, and its noticeable throughout the common areas and outdoor spaces. other perks: there are two rooftops, with grills, a brand new, and clean bowling alley and over 4-5 work spaces for those who work from home. I loved using the spaces on days I didn't want to be in the apartment. Cityline is a great addition to Columbia City and close to everything you need - the Lightrail (you don't need a car if you live here!) and the farmers market (my personal fave. event of the neighborhood) that is literally in your 'backyard.' Dishonest company. Bait and switch. After filling out the application, I was called by your UDR's staff to let me know that my move in date was too late and would have to be changed to the 26th. I asked on that call if I needed to make another quote to change the date. They said no, and that a leasing specialist would reach out and adjust it. I asked if the rent would be adjusted to reflect the advertised rent for that move-in date and that confirmed that it would be changed by the leasing specialist. After signing the lease and paying the deposit, the leasing specialist, Natalie, came back and says they can't change the rent because the quotes have expired. This is after they took multiple days to get back to me. And after telling me the rent would be adjusted. And after telling me to not create a new quote. After paying the $500 deposit, they basically tried to raise the rent by $4000. Don't trust this company, even after signing the lease on your side. read more

Housing looks good but services are terrible! Updated: they take forever to process a refund. Emailed them but they never responded. I'll fight to the end to get this refund back. Do not ever get involved with UDR, they are the worst company ever. We were interested in renting the place had a short time to apply due to another housing contract deadline. I tried to call the apartment multiple times but always were instructed to call different number but that number never works! We were so frustrated and there was no way to communicate with anyone. When our application got denied, we were surprised because we applied to different housing that belongs to UDR at the same time and got approved. We reached out to their email and provided the proof of employment offer and everything as they requested. However, they ghosted us for 3-4 days. Given that we were very short in time in making a decision, we tried to communicate with them but again, it was impossible to contact them. This, we were so frustrated and decided to not move forward. Bottom line is only get involved with CityLine or any UDR apartments if you have a lot of time and patience since there was no way to reach out or get actual useful help from them. read more

We lived at Cityline for 2 years. The maintenance team is amazing. The leasing office team is terrible. Before moving in, the leasing staff showed us a model apartment on our tour. The building the model apartment was in had an elevator. After falling in love with the complex, and notifying our then building we were leaving, the leasing agent from Cityline told us that our building did not have an elevator. This only came out because we needed to understand the route from the parking lot for our movers. As our new apartment was on the third floor, it was a huge deal! They were not apologetic for misleading us. This was a flag, but we felt we didn't have another option, so moved in. As others have said, the leasing office constantly comes up with ways to "add on" charges to your bill. What seemed like a fair price at the beginning, soon became ridiculous. When it came to re-signing the lease we thought we could work with the staff but were treated poorly, and even ignored. I have never felt so looked down on. When moving out, I had to go through line items on ever bill because they were constantly adding items on "in error". If I could go back, I would never choose to live at Cityline. There were more headaches than good times. Don't be fooled by the façade - you'll pay for it in the end! read more

Echoing the same experience as my neighbors here: maintenance staff is nice (aren't they always?), leasing office and UDR management are beyond useless, to the point of being negligent. I pay for an indoor parking spot that costs nearly 400$ per month, 'parcel pending' locker at 5$ per month X 2 residents, cost of upkeep for 'smart locks' (which if you fail to maintain, gets you locked out of your house- not to mention we never asked for this, residents complained, and were ignored. It even made the local news, and still no change), just to name a few of the 'premiums' which are so touted. ...And what does one get in exchange for this? Stolen property, stolen packages, car break ins, broken amenities, stolen equipment, damaged property, feces on the sidewalk, trash everywhere. The leasing office does... ? I can't figure out why they exist, other than to give tours to lure in new prospects. Once you move in, get used to hearing "I don't know, I really can't help you, sorry" The issues are consistent, and have gotten worse and worse over time, just read the other reviews. There used to be an online community messaging board for residents to share information regarding criminal activity, to inform themselves and stay safe- and I really have to give credit to management's solution to this: they forced everyone into new app based payment system, and removed this feature entirely in the process. Now we're all in the dark, so no one can complain or see what's going on anymore. Problems solved! Seriously: DO NOT move here. The apartments are just average, nothing special. Going rate is $2600-$3000 and rising because this place is being marketed as upscale/premium, but do not be fooled. You'll find only frustration, hidden fees, condescending leasing office staff and non-existent security. read more

We are only here for a short stay but have loved living at Cityline. First, the complex is brand new (we were the first in the unit), so everything is nice and up to date. The building is pretty quiet as well. I saw a complaint about the light rail, but we don't hear it at all from our unit. Maybe it's where you live in the complex, which is quite large. Second, the location is amazing. Right next to the light rail, plus a 5 minute walk to the Columbia City business district, PCC, or Rainier Playfields. As such, street parking is a bit limited, but doable. We just paid for a spot since we didn't want a hassle. Third, the amenities are great! Pool table, gym, big screen TVs, and rooftop decks. Finally, I've seen some complaints about the leasing office, but my interactions have been top notch. I will agree with some of the nickel-and-dime fee complaints, but it's not enough money to really get worked up about compared to the benefits of living here. read more

In the year and a half that we've lived here there have been well over a dozen bicycles stolen from the secure garage. There have also been destructive vehicle break-ins and storage unit break-ins, etc. all inside the secure garage. CityLine assures you they have cameras but when your stuff is stolen you find out there's 1 camera, with a very small viewing field, they didn't catch anything on it, and it's not their problem. Packages are constantly stolen. Whether they're left in front of your door or the secure mail room. CityLine must not have cameras in the secure mail room. They don't enforce the leash rules so you'll have people picking up after their dog outside your bedroom window at 6AM. Or on your patio. Or in your bushes. There are groups of people who don't live in the complex who have harassed tenants, follow you around, and trash common areas. In one particular case CityLine allowed it to go on for months and wouldn't even audit the door code they were using. I've had someone follow me in from the street and knock at my patio door at 3 in the morning. They required everyone to accept "SmartLocks" to fetch a higher rent. So now any attentive witnesses can watch you type in your pin code every day. I'm honestly concerned my apartment will get robbed when I leave for a weekend. CityLine does use a security company, which they'll assure you of. This is some guy who drives through the parking lot once per night. That's it. So if you're looking at the rent and think it's sort of high, factor in all the losses you're might take during your tenancy and you'll realize your rent is that much higher. read more

I was desperate to find a new home as my previous home was too far from the light rail station, the rent was too high for where I lived and the location did not provide me with the privacy I needed. I found cityline on the seattle.gov website and immediately called to see if there were any vacancies. My interactions throughout the viewing and signing a lease process were primarily done with Ajeenah C. All very seamless btw ! She was super friendly right from the start and was happy to answer all of my questions. Since I didn't live too far, I would go directly to the office for questions as it was the quickest way for me to move the process along. The entire time, Ajeenah was super accommodating and I felt she had my best interest. As a tenant this is probably the #1 trait we could hope for from our leasing agent! I move in in just a few days and I cannot wait. The space is filled with natural light, the bathroom is so spacious and it's just right across from the light rail which is going to contribute immensely to my work commute! Although I haven't moved into CityLine Apartments yet, I want to thank Rachel in the office for the amazing, attentive help that she has provided. I couldn't have had anyone better to work with. I checked out a few apartments at CityLine during the Thanksgiving holiday and, although I didn't select any that I saw, Rachel found one at CityLine that she knew I'd like and that would become available when I needed it. Since I was still living on the East Coast, Rachel went out of her way to take pictures and measurements of the new apartment that I will move into next month! Updating my review--I simply cannot believe the extent of nickel and diming here! $5 per screw hole? So glad to be moving out. This is a reasonably nice, if expensive, place to live. Very dog-friendly and neighbors are quite nice. I'm glad to be living here, even if it costs a bit more than I'd like and the move-in process was unbelievably frustrating. If the leasing office tells you anything, get it in writing and make sure it's 100% clear. I am paying for parking so no issues there. If you're considering moving here make sure you read Meg and Brooke's reviews for another point of view, which I think is very fair and accurate. I wanted to share a piece of information I wish I had before leasing here. Leasing reps are very unclear on painting fees--here is their current policy (if they tell you anything else, make sure you get it in writing.) All apartments will have all-white walls unless you pay $150/wall (not per room or apartment) to paint it another color. So - when you see their picture of the apartment with two blue walls, know that will cost you an extra $300! read more

Comfort and Convenience in a Great Neighbourhood I moved in to City Line in January. After viewing a lot of properties I had my sights set on this place. It's a well designed, elegant looking and comfortable property. Location: It is conveniently located a half block from the Light Rail system (CC Station) and between MLK and Rainier Avenue; a short walk from the Columbia City business district which I am very much enjoying. Units: The units come in a number of configurations and in either a dark format or a very light format. The materials in my place are well done: subway tile back splashes, quartz counter tops, appliances I'd have been happy to purchase, conveniently located power points and in my one-bedroom unit adequate storage. I really love my giant windows and the early morning light from the east. Staff: My every interaction with the staff has been quiet good. Particularly Reese. Great guy. Tips: - pay for parking, you'll regret it if you don't; I did and I'm happy, my neighbours who didn't have a lot to complain about Things I discovered after moving in: - UDR have set aside several units for students at the centre for the blind who are learning life skills in their new situation - I want to live in a place that is community mindedk, A+ - The light rail system is fantastic for getting downtown, to Capitol Hill, to the airport, etc.. - Not all units are the same - my place is lovely and quiet but other units have some noise to contend with: garbage chutes, etc.. read more

My pup and I have been living here for a bit over a year and couldn't be happier; I plan to stay at CityLine until I buy a place in the next year or two. I came from Capitol Hill where I was in an apartment building that was old with terrible ownership who treated their tenants like unwanted guests and were raising the rent to more than what I now pay at CityLine. Moving to Cityline was a pleasure. The apartment is beautiful with all the amenities I desired - washer/dryer, dishwasher, deck. The layout is nice and I can open my windows without noise or privacy issues as I face the backyards of the houses on Edmonds St. The staff is also amazing - the office staff as well as the maintenance staff. If I ever need anything fixed, it is generally done the same day and they will call me to give me an update. I also love that there is a nice courtyard in the middle of all the buildings. It's lovely to walk through with my dog. Additionally, the rooftop desk is awesome. It's great to go out there on a non-rainy evening with a glass of wine. I have seen complaints about parking and mail, but I got lucky and came in early - I pay for a parking spot and the cost is well worth it. This is still a neighborhood in transition and there isn't a lot of street parking. As for the mail issues - I haven't had a problem at all. I always get my mail and packages. The other tenants in general are very friendly - a lot of 20 - 40ish singles and couples with lots of dogs and cats - perfect environment for me. I would definitely recommend to others. read more

The security of CityLine is very poor. I had a package stolen and my car broken into in the same week. They wouldn't send me the video of who broke into my car. They aren't doing anything to keep us or our property safe. read more

Waste of time. I was scheduled by their central office for 1p tour on the same day. I trekked through the snow to get Columbia City only to have the office be closed. I called back to the central office only to have the agents tell me to call the local office number instead them calling on my behalf. What a waste of time. read more

We moved in a couple weeks ago and so far we love it. The location on the train is so convenient if you work downtown. We opted to buy the Zone 29 street parking and are still in the process of getting it approved but they give you a temporary pass to use in the meantime. I have never had issues finding parking and have only had to walk up to 4 minutes. We were able to get a months free rent which makes this place a WAY cheaper option than our previous apartment in Ballard that was really spendy. NO issues with lost mail so far and even in my last apartment we had a lot less units and mail there was frequently lost. I've found the leasing staff to be really helpful, and I've watched them have interactions with other tenants about issues and I thought they handled the issues very well. One girl had an issue with using a closed bank account to pay rent and then was charged a late fee, the apartment manager quickly refunded and resolved the issue so with all the comments about rude office employees - it's just not what I've seen at all. SO far we really like living here compared to Ballard. Maintenance staff is also really nice and the property is well kept. Very dog friendly with a lot of residents offering to trade dog walks and pet sitting. The only reason I'm giving this one less star is our apartment isn't a brand new unit and you can tell the tenant before scratched up the outside of our fridge and the carpet had some fabric pulls. But - i do expect some measure of this living in a unit that isn't brand new. Some apartments I've heard always put new carpet in anytime they get a new tenant so that is my only issue. Otherwise it's a beautiful apartment and the layout is awesome and open. read more

The maintenance team is amazing and top notch. big fan. The leasing office, is a nightmare. We were told in order to break our lease, it was the last month's rent + an extra month's rent, for a total of 200% of one month's rent. When we got our final bill, jut 8 days before moving, we saw the last month's rent, plus two month's rent, for a total of 300% of one month's rent. When we called the leasing office to clarify, the woman we spoke to said she never remembers speaking to us. Corporate was less than helpful. they said they don't make "verbal agreements", as it's a "he said/she said", and we're responsible to pay everything in our final bill. We made the decision to move based on what we were told by the leasing office, only to be slapped with an additional $2,000 bill and there is literally nothing we can do. Don't trust a word they say. read more

Like others have said, the leasing office staff and management are terrible. All but a couple of them are just plain rude, and the corporate management is constantly hunting for new exciting ways to nickel and dime you. Everything you want to do here has a fee associated with it. The buildings seem cheaply and hastily made, and things break often. As for the neighborhood, I've lived in several places and this is the single noisiest place I've ever had the misfortune to call home. The light rail dings all day. Police sirens blare all night. And building management has landscaping equipment running promptly at 7AM. Just about the only thing I like about the place are the maintenance staff. Otherwise this place has been the most overpriced, under-featured hell hole I've ever been to. Can't wait to leave here. read more

Honestly, this place is not worth your energy or money. The actual building and amenities are nice, but they definitely DO NOT outweigh the problems. If you have a car, get ready to pay for parking tickets all the time. We've been on the parking waiting list for 8 months and still don't have a spot. The street parking is an absolute nightmare. And my roommate was even told by the staff that the manager had requested the city parking monitor the area more often... Meaning more tickets. Don't get your hopes up for properly delivered mail. Tenants have been complaining to the staff and USPS about misplaced mail for months, but no one has fixed it. And as nice as the staff are in person, if you complain on the apartment feed, they delete your comments. The community even had to create a closed group that the management couldn't control in order to get things sorted out. Bottom line: don't live here. read more

We've been living here for a year. CityLine started out well but has ended up being very disappointing. Any issue, suggestion or comment that you submit for public view on their internal resident board are not posted for the public and are censored by management. New rules and regulations are implemented that are not in the best interest of the residents. Office management seems to be very defensive and almost aggressive in responses to resident concerns. If you're interested in renting here just know that the surface looks great, but there are a lot of underlying issues. They'll take you for a walkthrough of the property and they'll show you all the amenities trying to sell you how much these offerings will add to your living experience. However, when asked about the reason for the amenity rental fee Brooke B mentions below, they replied with a long winded ( defensive) email that stated "The amenities and the facilities provided by us are provided as a gratuity and their use is not part of the rent that you pay. The rent is for your private residence only, no portion of that is for the use of the amenities." This is an example of the type of response you can expect to receive when submitting any question or concern to the front office. With new construction of apt complexes occurring in and around Columbia City, I would suggest really doing your research and weighing your options before selecting this one. read more

From a living standpoint, this place is just fine. We haven't had too many things break. From a management perspective -- this place is the worst. Amenities that they used to rope us into signing a lease were quickly taken away (including now charging a crazy amount to use the community space when it used to be free). Aggressive comments from staff (yes, threatening eviction) about dogs peeing on plants when we paid a $300 deposit + monthly pet rent. Where else is your dog supposed to relieve him/herself? I constantly see front office staff just sitting around on their phone and then I don't get a notification for a package for 3 days and they said "sorry, we've just been so busy". Uh, no. Now, if rent were actually a reasonable amount, maybe I'd let more of this stuff go but rent is CRAZY expensive... I could pay less for a 2 BR in the heart of downtown. I will say that Brandon and Jim are fantastic from a maintenance perspective -- friendly and get to your requests quickly. If you plan to have no interactions with the front office staff, then this place might be fine. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have lived here 6 months and I am counting down the days until I can leave. No enforcement of the smoking policy and am being charged to break my lease despite ER visits for allergic reactions to the chronic marijuana smoke. My storage unit in the "secure" garage was broken into and I can't get 24 hour maintenance, security, or anyone from the office to answer the phone or call me back. Zero amenities have been available due to COVID and half my packages have been returned to the post office, but they don't even tell me. I do not feel safe here yet I pay a fortune to live here. 0 stars, do not recommend. Sure the apartment is okay, but it's also 96degrees with no air conditioning and I can't open my windows because of the smoke. DON'T DO IT! read more

As a recent transplant from Chicago, I appreciated moving to Seattle with a community that all was relatively new to the city, open to meeting people, pet friendly and kid friendly. However, in the past several months, things have changed at CityLine...and not for the better. Amenities that they used to sell the place have disappeared (WOW fridge). Complaints about pets peeing on flowers when every single pet is charge $30 rent/mo. Charges for things that used to be free...like ASTRONOMICAL charges. To use community rooms with anyone over 4 PEOPLE you're going to charge me $150? Come on. Insane parking issues (lack of parking during construction without any resolution from the Community Director but to pay to park blocks away). Residents have even been towed. People openly complain nowadays about the leasing office and it's lack of support for its residents. And for the rent we pay, we should be allowed higher expectations. In addition to paper thin walls and hearing your neighbors above and below you, racing cars and the light rail, there's also been issues with mentally unstable folks living on the premises. Perks: An amazing service staff led by Jim. Brandon and Woebe are some of the friendliest and helpful guys around. Close to the light rail and downtown Columbia City. Hey, you weigh your pros and cons when you rent a place. In the beginning, the perks way outweighed the cons here. Eight months later that is not the case. read more

I moved to CityLine almost a month ago, and it has been the best living experience I have had. First of all, the property and the apartments are beautiful. Since it's a garden style community, you often see neighbors outdoors in the common areas hanging out, and everyone is very friendly! The staff is incredibly helpful. I've only needed one service request but the maintenance guys got to it promptly and professionally. I could go on forever, but there are a couple things that I really want to point out in this review: STREET PARKING: I was very nervous to get Zone 29 parking after seeing so much about how hard it is to find parking in the neighborhood. However I have had ZERO ISSUE. During the day, there is ample parking right on the block out front of the property. I have gotten home at 6PM, 8PM, and 11PM and not once have had to park more than a block away. It's not always directly out front, but on S Edmunds street, the block that is right around the corner from CityLine, there has been parking every single time. Maybe it's because I moved from Capitol Hill, where I've spent up to an hour looking for parking even remotely close to my apartment, but consistently finding parking when I get home from work within a 4 minute walk is a godsend. Plus, Zone 29 is only $65 for two years. So worth it! GUEST PARKING: Although you only get 2 guest parking passes a month, Zone 29 also has a guest parking permit you can get for $30-$65, and again those expire every 2 years. However, street parking is only 2 hours 7AM-6PM M-F, so if you primarily have guests over on the evenings or weekends, you probably don't even need one since they won't have to worry about an hour limit. Plus, none of the street parking is paid parking (which is rare in Seattle). NOISE: I was also nervous about noise since I'm on the first floor. However, I have had zero noise issues. Occasionally I'll hear something from upstairs or a door slam in the hallway, but that is to be expected living in an apartment building. Building /amenities - 4 Leasing office -1 Management -2 The support staff (everyone not working the front desk of the leasing office and or management of leasing office) is amazing and the buildings are wonderful. The management does a good job of keeping the grounds serviced and the buildings clean. The leasing office customer service is not that big of a deal unless you actually need help or straight answers. The leasing and management staff here are so unhelpful and are often inconsistent in messaging towards their renters. Examples: cost to rent parking spaces (quoted a different price each time I've done this for visitors), pet policies (super dog friendly but they are inconsistent in messaging), help with previous renters mail (I get so much mail with other people's name on it and rts'ing hasn't been helping. I found out they actually still live in the building after asking the office if they had any forwarding address multiple times), follow up (if they tell you they will follow up do not expect a call or email. You will have to call or go in the office if you are awaiting answers on anything even if it's urgent), billing (reservations for anything regardless if it's 2mon in advance have to be paid next day on your account or they will send you a message saying you are in violation. If you cancel the reservation you will not get a refund. While not cash strapped I find this a very single sided approach to collecting money). Let's be honest this is minor stuff. It adds up over time and its just frustrating. Just be informed of what to expect. read more
