I think this store is better than the one inside the park at Avengers Campus. Avengers Reserve opened inside Downtown Disney in 2025. It's nice for those that want to shop for Marvel gear that aren't going inside the theme parks. This store has a nice collection of stuff for all ages. It is located near the Star Wars Trading Post on the west side of Downtown Disney. There are some cool character sculptures like Hulk, Captain Marvel and Black Panther inside and outside the store that make for fun photos. You can even spot a small version of Ant-Man and the Wasp in the exterior wall as you walk into the entrance. I am not a huge souvenir shopper or a collector, but I love to widow shop. They have some classic Marvel action figures that I remember having as a kid. The Marvel Mickey ears and some of the hoodies are pretty cool. Avengers Reserve also has costumes, masks and props for the little ones. This place makes me want to be a kid again. I grew up with Marvel comics and I am enjoying seeing the MCU universe on the big screen. They also also have Marvel stuff at the World of Disney store in Downtown Disney. I still find it interesting that Disneyland can use Marvel characters, but can't use the "Marvel" name in the title of any theme park land in California due to a pre-existing agreement with Universal. This is why everything in the park uses the "Avenger" name instead.

As of 4/25, this store is pretty new to the Downtown Disney District. I was really wowed when I first walked into this store. I'm a big Marvel fan so this place seems to have lots to offer for your Marvel/Avengers merch needs. The folks here are friendly - as a matter of fact the store and the employees feel like an extension of the Avengers Campus in DCA. In terms of pricing, it's pretty standard and it's similar if not identical with what you find in parks for items like Mickey ears, etc. So part of the beauty here is that you can shop here without having to buy a ticket to get into DCA. Besides themed Mickey ears and other stuff you can find in the park like clothing and costumes, there's a good selection of collectibles, art, and other novelties. Also, the store designs and displays of the characters above are really cool to look at.

They have great customer service, very welcoming and helpful. They have a comic book wall and several options for gifts and souvenirs. Nice new store and addition to downtown Disney.

This was a nice, well designed store for fans to check out the cool merchandise from the MCU without having to go into one of the Disney parks. It's located on the western end of Downtown Disney across from Din Tai Fung. You can't miss it as the exterior has Spider-man and the Incredible Hulk!

A large selection of Marvel stuff, rotates quickly so buy it when you see it! ;) The service is what you expect from Disneyland - top notch as always! The value is that much of it is items you likely won't find elsewhere - Disney only exclusives.

Avengers Reserve is one of my fav store in Disney...I love Marvel so this is my heaven to be. The store itself isnt crowded and everything is well organized. I love their products creativeness! The service is great. Employees have willingness to help. There is a small selection of products but i love their t-shirts. There is always something fun you can find in this place. Value wise just like other Disney store is not cheap but you can find unique things that you cant find in any other places even online.

For the Marvel fan, this is the store for you! I love the giant Hulk (great photo opp & draws you in). Spider-Man swinging into the store signage is so clever. Lots of high end collectibles as well as lower priced kids toys and activity sets. I came specifically for the Deadpool sweatshirt ($80) but it doesn't come in youth...as it is not a kid appropriate movie. Lol. I'm not gate keeping Deadpool from my son & he doesn't curse and understands violence in real life vs movies. (Not that I need to defend myself but in this day & age...) Cast was great and very helpful. I'm glad they hired fans so I can geek out about details and characters.

Located in Downtown Disney. This place should have been inside DCA omg the merchandise in here is awesome from all your favorite marvel Avengers characters and even other Marvel characters merch. The displays on the high part of all the walls are actual props from the movies. There is so much to look at here and want to buy if you are a big fan of the Marvel Comics cause a lot of the merchandise is based off them vs the marvel movies. Prices are on the high side for some of the merchandise. Overall had a good experience checking this store out.

My first time here, it's not a super big store but it's really cool. A lot of items that I don't think I've seen anywhere else. I was able to pick up a groot sweater which was a huge plus. We went late morning on a Wednesday and it wasn't too crowded. Prices are pretty par fpr downtown disney. Person who rang me up was nice and friendly.

Last weekend, I had the opportunity to learn tufting for the first time!! For those new to tufting,…read moretufting is essentially a texture manufacturing process where you insert yarn into a base fabric to create rugs. The lesson first starts off with choosing a simple base design. Our instructor specifically recommended a design with simple lines and colors to make it easier for our first ever rug, which was around $70. Using a projector, you will trace your image onto the fabric as a template for the rest for your work. Before starting with tufting, we then moved onto a mini tutorial on the ins and outs of using a tufting gun, from yarn insertion to how to create straight versus curved lines. Keep in mind you have to put a lot of pressure on the canvas to ensure that your yarn is being threaded correctly. Going through several practice sessions definitely made the transition to the entire tufting process easier. Starting our rug, we soon recognized how difficult and time consuming the rug tufting process was. Even simple design like ours (a cartoon dog) was a long lengthy process than anticipated and we ended up spending 3-4 hours for completion for one of the smaller size rugs. We were recommended to start from the inside out and using one color at a time, inserting lines of yearn about a fingers width to ensure completion of our rug. Though we initially struggled with creating finer lines, we eventually got the hang of it and were able to successfully complete our rug. Our instructor transitioned us into the final process, teaching us how to trim our rug and prepare it to take home. Personally based on the instructor teaching and supplies available, this class was well worth its price point. Overall, I would say tufting is an impressive skill that I learned for the first time and hope to come again to create more designs!

I've been going to Wondercon for years, taking a few hiatus years off due to child rearing…read morelogistics. Now, my son's been to LA Comic Con, San Diego Comic Con and Anaheim Wonder Con.... This is his favorite convention between the 3. He's not into comic books per se, he's not into TCG's Trading Card Games and "Gaming", he's not into Cosplay ('tho doesn't mind dressing up or people watching), he's not into Artist's Alley nor Celebrities, and generally likes Lego, some video games and Star Wars. So for children 7-14, this is a good convention for many interests. The Lego they have here is primarily 2 main vendors and a few smaller ones who sell unlicensed brick (Lego styled designer imposter) "Mini-Figures" that has many characters that Lego never built, so are "custom" probably mass produced in China, accessible probably at Alibaba or Temu for cheap in bulk. They're usually $5 each or 5 for $20 at Wondercon. The Star Wars stuff is sparce, and they used to have a vendor who sold high end inspired (not licensed) Light Sabers. This convention has a really good representation of vintage to modern comic book back-issues in a focused area of the convention hall. If you collect comics this is equal in many ways to SDCC. The "Artists Alley" pales in comparison to what their creator area used to be with top names of writers, penciling artists and inker artists who appeared representing Marvel, DC and Indie (Dark Horse, Image, etc.) comic publishers who were top named talent. These days they have maybe a half dozen to dozen at best recognizable (mainly local talent) major names. This year (2026) there was Ron Lim, Don Ho, Jimmy Cheung, Norm Rapmund, Joel Gomez, David Mack and a few others. So, the comic book creator guest list continues to shrink (although this year Wondercon competed the same weekend as the C2E2 show, Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo. Parking was $25 on-site, but there's FREE parking about 0.5 to a 1.5 miles away walking distance in residential areas. Overall the show has become more of a "Pop Culture Expo" than a comic book convention, lacking presence by any of the big publishers with corporate booths (again, maybe C2E2 is a bigger show than Wondercon and that's where everyone went in '26). I see rooms of improvement revolving around revisiting the glory days of yore, and looking back at what once made Wondercon the 2nd biggest show on the West Coast behind San Diego Comic Con (and this is a SDCC sister show too, by the same organizers). As many have noted in the past decade, Wondercon was a better show when it was held in San Francisco. It's still a good show worth attending no matter what.

Run by the same folks at Comic Con, Wondercon is about a third of the size of Comic Con, but still…read moreso WONDERFUL AND FUN! I've been attending for over 15 years, and its always great! This year was the first time I was a panelist, so I got to go for free! -The best of the best cosplayers come out! It's spring so the weather is a lot cooler and easier to cosplay. -Lots of vendors, artists, and B/C list celebrities. -Lots of panels to learn and entertain yourself at. -Lots of nearby hotel options that are reasonable priced. -Lots of great meetups. -Easy to buy a ticket.
