First of all, based on some of the pictures they probably do decent work. I wouldn't know based on Mr. Avelar's unprofessional, borderline lunatic behavior. I scheduled a meeting for an estimate last week which he was a no show for until I texted him about his whereabouts at which time he said he hurt is leg. Fine, no problem. I rescheduled for today at 5 pm, got held up at work and texted him in advance I would be about 15 minutes late. When I was minutes from the house he texts me he gotta go and would pass on the job. When I text him back about why he didn't want the potential big job just because I was 15 minutes late. He called me back and told me he had been waiting since 4 after we'd agreed to meet at 5. He then proceeded to shout at me about how he was giving me a free estimate, so I had to follow his schedule and he had a family to get home to and on and on. He must not know EVERY contractor gives free estimates and will accommodate your schedule. Horrible service and good luck feeding your family with that kind of attitude. This could've been an $80-100k job if he knew how to act. Just glad I saw this behavior before committing to hire him. read more

Fabian and his team were a pleasure to work with from start to finish! We completed an entire home remodel with his team and were so thankful to have found them. He was able to begin work on the project within a week of when we met with him and even brought me to some of their vendors locations to assist me in shopping for cabinetry, countertops and plumbing fixtures. Please check their work if you intend to use them. After multiple calls with them, the problem is still not fixed. I called the company based on good reviews. I spoke to a guy who I believe is the owner and began explaining the job I needed help with. He cut me off and condescendingly told me he was the professional and he will tell me what needs to be done. That didn't sit well with me, but chose to ignore it. Big mistake on my part. We eventually agreed on a time for the next day and said he would contact me when he arrived at 10am. 10:30am rolled around and they were a no show. I called the owner to remind them about our agreed time and he said they will be late. They eventually arrived at 12pm and got to work on installing the lights. When they were done, the owner asked me to write him a review since it feeds the family, I said sure. Always awkward for me when someone asks for a review. A few hours later when it got dark, I turned on the lights only to find that one of the lights wasn't working. I also noticed that the extra light bulb I had was missing as well. Definitely saw them before the install. After switching around a few light bulbs, I realized it was the lighting itself. I called the company back the next day letting them know one of the lights was not working. I was careful not to blame them and asked if there could be anything that they might know on getting that fixed. He basically blamed the lighting system so I decided to return the product. As I prepped to take down the lights myself, I noticed the screws were not the ones that came with the lighting. They were way longer and the head of the screw was way bigger compared the the original! (See pic) These screw were definitely not appropriate. It could have easily cut the wires inside the lighting system as the wires were packed inside. Not only that, one of the screws was completely stripped that I couldn't the screw out (see pic). I called again the following day letting him know the screw was stripped and politely asked him if he could return and remove the screw. Rather than take any fault, he decided to blame me for the screw issue and wanted to charge me again. He said he couldn't find any screws around when he was working on it at the time, but I told him it was safely in a box next to them so that they wouldn't get lost. He then wanted me to show proof I had these screws. (Here you go, see photo). Eventually he said he would do it, but I can no longer use his services. Gladly, he is on my blacklist. He also wanted to point out that he was doing this as a "service" for me because my project was $120, but he has a $40k project going on. If that was the case, he should have passed in the first place. I would more than happily find someone else to do the job. I told him he only needs to remove the stripped screw and we are good. But in an aggressive tone, he said he'll take EVERYTHING down stressing that he is a "gentleman." This turned out to be false. His men showed up 9 hours than what we agreed on the next day. Not a surprise here. They cut the screw off, made a mess and left. I did a further inspection only to realized they did not remove the tail end of the stripped screw (see pic). On top of that, it blocking another screw behind it (see pic). At this point I was fed up. I sent him the pic letting him know they "screwed up" (pun intended) again. As expected, no response. It's okay though, I'll pay someone else clean up his mistakes. Not sure why he tells me he is a "professional" and a "gentleman." read more

Hired Fabian who is the owner of this business to remodel a new house my husband and I just bought. At first seemed very professional and nice. We paid him on time every time. We paid over 7,000$ for work on our house. The last part was painting. I sent him multiple photos of unfinished painting or markings on walls that should of been fixed or painted and he saw for himself: holes in the walls and things not sanded down the paint job looked horrible. He came back the next day to fix these things and took responsibility. I came back and paid him. A few days later(today) I went to have it deep cleaned and notice on some windows it looked he didn't even touch that with paint or sanded anything down and the bottom of the bathroom there was brown marks. I will show pictures. We haven't moved in yet and not one piece of furniture as been put in. I didn't see it the last time due to lighting wasn't good. When I asked him about this and sent him pics he told me there's no way his guys did this it had to of been my husband and I. Even though we have not even moved in or been there. He said it would fix the paint but was very rude and said he will not bring the other work he has promised to do because he can't deal with this. I asked deal with what? We paid $4000 for a paint job and we're telling you it wasn't done correctly and your blaming us that we put "stains" there. I told him not fix anything that I didn't want him near my house due to the fact the way he was blaming us for something we did not do. There is absolutely no way we caused that the job was not done. I would not hire him as he will not take responsibility and finish a job correctly. Iam in absolute awe that he treated my husband and I this way. Funny how Fabian replied and said no bad reviews I read other BAD ones from customers and I can say he is very rude and blames you for everything takes no responsibility like mentioned in other reviews. I have never experienced a situation like my interaction with Fabian nor met anyone so disparaging and disrespectful. I don't write bad reviews either. -I called to let him know that I wanted new doors installed and didn't want hollow doors. No problem. He gave me a quote, told me choose a design and said he can get the doors. Unfortunately, i found out the day before he doesn't have access to solid core doors. I went to HD supply, found the doors in stock and prehung doors at another location and he was kind enough to pick them up. Unfortunately they sold out of all of them by the time he arrived the next day but there were plenty of single doors in the style I wanted so we went that route. He was kind enough to go to two places to get them. -He began the work with his crew. After two doors were installed I noticed that two of the doors were cut short!!! (We had installed laminate from carpet so the doors were a lot shorter now. . If you can imagine, I was SHOCKED. I mean we got new doors specifically for this issue so that the doors would fit the space. Until the end, he NEVER owned up to the problem but said he would fix the issue. He could lower the frame a bit and ensured me it would be great. He lowered the frame but the door was too close to the floor and wouldn't open without scratching against the floor. The door is right next to another door and it just looked so noticeable that I told him it wouldn't work. After going back and forth about the issue, i told him, you know this is not my fault in ANYWAY...but i felt bad for him and offered to pay for half the door because everyone's working hard to make a living, right? Later that day he told me he would just pay for the door. When he was leaving yesterday he asked for some of the payment early. I hate doing this because i've had a contractor who just got a new job and didn't finish our job but i felt bad so offered to give him half even though i told him why i really don't like paying before ALL the work is completed. So i gave him half the payment and then he said, remember you have to pay for the door (that he messed up) and I told him, remember you said you would pay for it? He walked out angrily saying, "man i'm gonna lose money on this job." Back to the door. We figured the solution was to get a prehung door since the door casing was messed up now on 4/14/21. HD supply said that we needed to call 4/15 at 10:30-12 pm to see if they shipment was in. 4/15 Fabian and another crew member came early morning and i was told that Fabian had to start another project so he came for a few minutes, took all the tools and left us with one worker to install the trim and do finishing touches. Unfortunately, because Fabian had taken all the tools the worker couldn't finish his work. I didn't like the sound of this because I just wanted everything that could be finished as much as was possible. His worker left and Fabian called later and told me he went to two stores and they didn't have the prehungdoors (I called immediately after and they have 5 available) So i said, ok let's just finish everything else that we can at our house. He asked what more needed to be fixed? I told him the framing in one room since the tools weren't available to do it and my son's room door opens completely and was able to be propped open before..i'm sure it's a small fix. He goes nuts...says if i don't like his work he doesn't have to work here anymore. He is a professional and i will not find anyone who can do a better job (In the days he has worked with me i CANNOT tell you how many times i heard him say this). If I'm not happy with his work fine we can part ways, no wonder why I can't find someone to complete work with me and more.. I was SO utterly shocked. So i asked, what just happened? I am just answering your question when you asked what more needs to be done? I seriously don't know why you're reacting like this... Meanwhile he goes on and on about how he went out of my way to get my doors and he gave me such a good deal on the doors. I never asked for a deal. He says he doesn't like working with picky people. My husband gets involved now because he hears whats going on and says we just want the work done and tries to calm everyone down becasue i'm upset now. My husband tells Fabian his behavior is really offensive to me and Fabian goes off about how I am being offensive and disrespectful. He turns everything around. He mentioned a few times he can stop working at our house and call it even... so I finally agree. Then he says we just owe him $50 for this or that and i'm like ?? We all agreed 4 times to call it even so there's no miscommunication. Before his blow up we had every intention of hiring him for a big project because we are willing to work through big mistakes.
