The shop owners gave me recommendations for frames at various price points, and the first one they picked for me ended up being my favorite!! They took the time to listen and help me find frames that fit my preferences. I never felt pressured to buy specific frames, and rather felt very taken care of. Even when they got busy, they made sure to verbally check in with my family. The optometrist is also fantastic and very patient. I shared my job requires long hours at my computer, and he took the time to explain how blue light lenses could help with eye strain. I appreciated how the entire team put so much care into my experience. Prices are VERY reasonable. They have frames that range from lower price points to higher priced luxury frames. It didn't take long for me to receive my prescription frames (1week) though I'm sure it depends on how busy they are. The owners typically send frames to regional optical labs, but can make your lens in house as well!! This is truly a one stop shop and I give my highest recommendation.

I got my first pair of glasses here and they helped me throughout the entire experience. They were super patient with all my alterations and were super detail oriented. I got a pair of glasses for 100$ which is super reasonable compared to the other shops i visited. They seemed busy but made sure I got care and attention. Definitely will come back for my next pair!! Highly recommend! Have a large selection of glasses to chose from as well.

Friendly Eye Medical Group? There is nothing "Friendly" about this place. Let's start off with…read moretheir front desk staff and customer service. Overall? I chose to come to this place expecting professionalism and basic courtesy. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk staff was the complete opposite. From the moment I interacted with them, the tone was dismissive and unnecessarily rude. Simple questions were met with short, irritated responses, and the overall attitude made it clear that patient concerns were not a priority. In a medical setting, where people may already feel vulnerable or stressed, courtesy matters. Respect matters. Professionalism matters. None of that was reflected in my interaction. First impressions are important, and this office left a very negative one. I hope management takes a serious look at how patients are being treated at the front desk. Based on my experience, I would not return.

Cannot reach office to refill a prescription…read more I have spent the last 72 hours trying to reach Dr. Renner's office to get a prescription refill. The office phone number rolls over to the Acuity Eye Center call center, with no option to leave a message for my doctor. The call center staff are only able to make/cancel/reschedule appointments, but do not handle prescriptions. They have left multiple message for my doctor's office, but nobody has called me back. I am very close to firing my doctor over this.

I remember my first visit here was when I was 7 with Dr. Nishimoto and literally 30 years later, I still see him! We have never ever had an issue with this practice. I have recommended this practice to SO many people over the years and I've never had one person come back and tell me they weren't happy. Dr. John is amazing. He is very kind, patient and just so helpful! He's not out here to rip you off like other optical places, he is all about trying to help you save! He carries a variety of brands of eyewear but if nothing suits you, no problem, he will happily write you a script! The best part about getting eye exams here is they have this optical camera thing that takes a picture of the back of your eye without having the need to be dilated. As someone who absolutely dreads dilations, this was such a relief. If there's absolutely anything you need to know before going I would say it's the parking. There are times where it's been full but someone is literally leaving as soon as you pull in. I have never had to park on the street or wait longer than 2 mins to park. I've also noticed now there can sometimes be a wait in the lobby to get help but honestly it's not even a problem because I have seen Dr. John will step in and help asap if needed. Believe me, they are worthy of their 5 stars on here.
