The clinic staffs are very busy. Long waiting time in the waiting room even if you have a 9am appointment, you will be seen past 12noon based on experience. Post op nurses here are always on a rush, they also have earbuds on their ears talking spanish non stop and I cannot understand anything. Even if you're in excruciating pain they don't care, as soon as you wake up they want you in a wheelchair and get out even if you ate groggy. Its affordable here compared to different states that's why most people travel here because the amount you spend will be a quarter of what's for example in the Bay area. But expect you are just a number here. People go in and out and that's it. If you have a problem or complication, you are on your own. Its hard to communicate to the staff even if you are dying or what. Emergency room or PCP will not help you if you have a complication as well. Dr Kaufman is 5/5 but the clinic staffs is 1/5. They recently increased their prices and it takes couple of months to get a schedule.

I had a tummy tuck on…read more03/19/26 with supposedly "Dr. Amin Atul" during the consult when the surgeon is supposed to come in and mark you instead of the surgeon I was greeted by his nurse practitioner after he left the room I stated to the anesthesiologist "hey that's not my surgeon" his response in Spanish was "don't worry that his nurse practitioner he was a surgeon in Cuba" (I wish I was lying.) which leads me to believe they are using Dr. Amin face but in reality it's the nurse practitioner performing these procedures. 24 hours post op I went to my first massage done by Ana I had what looked like a purple bruise below my belly button and I was told by Ana in Spanish "that is a complication from surgery and it happens often" I trusted her. 1 week passes by I had the appointment with the surgeon, I already had what was an open wound with draining as you can see in the photos attached. I was told it was normal and Ana continued to wrap me in the abdominal binder everyday tighter and tighter which wasn't the correct thing to do with an open wound. One point the nurse practitioner sees me and prescribed me a cream, the next day I told Ana and the medical assistant Niubi that the cream he prescribed cost to much and I didn't have the money at the time if they can call him and ask if there is anything else I can use. Niubi came back and said you need to use what he sent you. A week passes by I tell the nurse practitioner I couldn't afford the cream he looks at me and says "why didn't you tell them?" I said "but I did" he looks at Niubi and says "when that happens you need to call me and tell me because I would have given her the cream" THEY DIDNT EVEN CALL HIM AND TELL HIM I COULDN'T AFFORD IT. This continued on for about 1 month they finally decided to do a culture and send to the lab because now I was draining green pus with a horrible smell they started me on a antibiotic. I got a call 4 days after the culture that I had staphylococcus growing, I asked the medical assistant so what's the game plan with this draining and this smell and she said yeah we have to wait for another culture but the drainage and smell is normal. I went to the hospital that same night because I knew something was off. Everyone at the hospital was shocked; shocked to hear I never met the surgeon, shocked to hear they never did an ultrasound, shocked to hear how clinics like this are still able to be open. It's disgusting, they don't care about anyone. This is a literal chop shop. Once they get your money they are done with you. I also want to mention that the medical assistant Niubi went to a cheap nursing school and the board ended up taking her license from her bc the school wasn't accredited by the state of Florida, I know this because in conversation she told me yet she's the medical assistant at this wonderful clinic. She and everyone else there including Ana that after me defending myself and saying it ended up getting that bad because of her my last massage that I paid $400 for 5 massages was about 10 mins all because I had defending myself the day prior. All of them including who they call the nurse, a shorter man who also stated he is part manager are all so rude and unprofessional once you start defending yourself and realizing all the thing going on at this clinic. Point of the matter is, I never met this mystery surgeon, I've never seen him walk in that clinic. They didn't do an ultrasound to see where the drainage was coming from. I ended up with a $67,000 bill from the hospital because the hospital needed to fix a mistake they did not make. At the end of the day they got their money and I'm going to be left with a hideous scar because of them. I want to say the nurse practitioner of Dr. Amin was very nice and seemed genuine, I just don't think it's right to be using your nurse practitioner as the face of a surgeon. For that reason alone, I cannot recommend his office and here is why. My story- I booked my surgery in February 2017 and was assigned to Yisel as my patient coordinator. It was supposed to be in July 2017, but it was cancelled because I didn't get medical clearance. After my surgery was cancelled it was almost impossible to get Yisel back on the phone. I paid Eres Plastic Surgery (that was their name at the time) a deposit to hold my date. According to the cancellation policy, I was entitled to a refund. I have emailed Yisel for days and she has yet to respond. I know she is getting my emails since all of them have been sent with read receipts. I called the office and spoke with Claudia, Yisel's manager, only to be told by Claudia that I have to speak with Yisel. As of today I have not heard from Yisel or Claudia regarding my refund. They are both ignoring my calls. It is my understanding that Imagenes Plastic Surgery (again, formerly Eres Plastic Surgery) has a slew of complaints against them and that they are under investigation by the Attorney General's Office in Florida. When I spoke with a clerk at the Attorney General's Office, she explained that the state is aware of their practices, which include procedures performed by unlicensed physicians and refusing to issue a refunds according to the signed agreement. At the clerk's suggestion I went online to file a complaint against them. I have also filed a complaint with my credit card company to get my deposit refunded. I truly believe everything happens for a reason and I am thankful for the signs that led me not to get surgery at Imagenes Plastic Surgery. Here are a few things I did not know about them prior to booking my surgery: 1. Eres Plastic Surgery (their former name) had a death in March 2017 and November 2016. Both deaths were the result of poorly done bbl's performed by unlicensed plastic surgeons. 2. Prior to being called Eres Plastic Surgery they were called Encore Plastic Surgery. There are also deaths linked to Encore Plastic Surgery. Please google both names. 3. There are numerous articles that link the deaths at Encore Plastic Surgery to facility and equipment failure. Update: Nancy, the person who commented on my review, says they now have this equipment. 4. Jonathan Fisher, M.D. is the ONLY board-certified physician at Imagenes Plastic Surgery. 5. Imagenes Plastic Surgery does NOT use board-certified anesthesiologist. Instead, likely to cut cost, they use Nurse Anesthesiologist. This could explain why a woman was left brain dead following breast implants a few years ago. Verdict - Please do your research before you decide to get plastic surgery. Imagenes Plastic Surgery is filled with unlicensed physicians, possible inadequate equipment, and is under investigation for failure to refund deposits. To Nancy: In response to your comment. My review is for Jonathan Fisher. Not Anthony Fisher. I've never heard of Anthony Fisher. And Yisel and Claudia, who you seem to know, are employees of Imagenes. I did have some negative incidents with customer service. It does take arguing with the sales rep to actually get what you paid for. If your not fluent in spanish you will have communication issues with nursing staff. You will get carted out quickly after surgery. I didnt have any issues at all with recovery. So guess the negative issues with the staff was worth the discounted price I got. Even with the staff issues I still wanna give 5 stars because of my amazing results. Thank you again Dr. Hunsaker.
