Avalon Pharmacy is an excellent independently owned community pharmacy. They offer a lot of great services in addition to the regular filling and refilling of medications. They have a drive-thru, a FREE delivery service, a large selection of OTC meds and supplies, medication synchronization so that your regular meds automatically get filled at the same time each month, and they even do personalized comprehensive medication reviews where a pharmacist talks to you about all of your meds and how/when to take them. The staff is friendly and courteous, but more importantly they're truly a part of he community... they care about their patients on a personal level and they do a great job making you feel taken care of. Shout out to Laurie, the technician who tells me she's celebrating her 19th year of working at Avalon Pharmacy! Also, it may seem like a small thing to some people, but I really love the prescription bottles they use at Avalon pharmacy. They don't put your pills in bottles that are way too big and bulky, they're nice and small and don't take up too much room. read more

5 star & beyond! I've gone to this pharmacy for so many yrs. Amit is wonderful, never to busy to answer any questions or help in ANY way. Laurie is wonderful,I can also call her with any questions or concerns I have. Everyone there is very kind & helpful. I tell everyone about this pharmacy, I even hand out there fliers. If you need something they don't have they will do there best to order it for you . There re no words to explain how much I love this pharmacy, I think of them as family , when I walk in thew door they no my name & I am greeted with big smiles. I have been a customer of Avalon Pharmacy since about the time they opened. The staff is extremely friendly and caring. I trust them completely. There have been a few times now where a medication was ordered for me by a doctor who overlooked an allergy I had to one or more of the ingredients in that particular medication and Amit and/or one of the other pharmacists had discovered the problem and quickly notified the doctor to get another medication ordered for me. This has happened a few times over the many years I have been a customer with Avalon Pharmacy. They are very quick to discuss with you any questions you have about a medication as well.
