Dr. Vincent is so nice and more than a Chiropractor, he has studied many practices. He will have you stand and walk and will discover the true source of your pain and issues and heal you! Other DR's will just process you through a routine of adjustments and schedule you for 6 months of visits. But, Dr Vincent fixed my issues in 1-3 visits every time I had any pains! Once it was a knee issue and I couldn't walk on it for a week, finally got in to see him and turns out it was because of my new rain boots and he fixed me in 1-2 visits. I had my neck get stuck from 3 months at my new office job where the computer was on the left side of the desk. One day my neck just stuck turned to the left for 3 days before I found his office. So much pain. He fixed it right away. Sounds crazy, but very true. He's the best in the city! read more

My son had been experiencing popping and clicking in his jaw for a while, and we were unsure whether or not it was TMJ. After several visits to dentists, we discovered that it was not dental related. Not knowing where else to turn, I searched the web for doctors in my neighborhood and found Dr Vincent. He has a lot of experience with jaw issues and explained how they can be tough to pin point. He was so kind, patient, and accommodating with my son who had never been to a chiropractor before. After one adjustment, my son's symptoms had decreased in intensity. After two treatments, they decreased in frequency and overall feeling much better. I never would have thought to have contacted the chiropractor for TMJ, but I am so glad I did! read more

Avalon Chiropractic - Love this philosophy!! - Chiropractors Near Me - New York, New York

Dr. Vincent is the best -- he's like a detective working carefully and asking thoughtful questions to get to the root causes of whatever issue I come to him with. I've had a lot of jaw grinding/clenching/pain issues and he's always fixed me up. Also appreciate that he is very straightforward and cost-conscious. read more

Been seeing Dr V. Since 2004. He's the best. He treated my wife after a car accident, whiplash etc.

2024 I am so lucky to have found Dr Vincent three years ago and have been going to him for my monthly maintenance . He is so wonderful and not what a traditional chiropractor . My body has never been in further condition . 2021 Fantastic find!! Dr Vincent is such a gem. He's relaxed, professional, knowledgeable, and reachable. Being a person with lower back injury and experienced with so many bad chiropractors in the past, really happy to have found Dr Vincent read more

He's fantastic. He's my go to person if ever I want chiro. Gentle and kind gives me and everyone I have sent a lot of relief.

Dr. Vincent continues to be a caring healing professional of the highest caliber. I am fortunate to have found him.

Dr. Vincent was very thorough yet conservative. I highly recommend him! Luckily he was able to squeeze me in during my short later over in NYC. I'm very grateful! read more

Dr. Vincent is fantastic! He was recommended by a friend who went to him many years ago. I'm very grateful to finally have a trusted chiropractor in NYC! I've been going to him for a few years now and each time, all issues are resolved and I feel so much better. He takes his time, listens, is thorough and extremely experienced. Highly recommended! read more

This man has magical hands! His approach to healing people is the way pain management should be dealt with: holistically, without drugs, or electrical doodads. Dr. Vincent asks many questions to get a good understanding of what's going on from the patients point of view- he listens! He then observes movements and runs tests. He is very patient and has a great attitude. My dad and I both went to visit Dr. Vincent after seeing many chiropractors. We have both had chronic back pain for years and with our very first visit we felt a huge difference in our everyday activities and most importantly sleep. There was some Soreness (3/10) the night of the adjustment but the following morning I woke up with no stiffness or aches. His prices are a little more expensive then what iv paid before to see a chiropractor BUT he is not expensive considering his knowledge and outcome of his work. Dr. Vincent is a perfect example of what healthcare should be. If you're having back pain look no further! read more

TEN Stars for Dr. Mark Vincent! Mark fixes me up after ONE visit, every time... I had been to many other chiropractors who couldn't fix me after several (and ridiculously expensive) sessions. Cannot recommend him enough! Oh and he came in early last week, just to see me and help me with agonizing head and neck pain! He is the best, hands down.. read more

I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Vincent's but I am completely satisfied. Unlike the other chiropractors I've seen in the past he took a good amount of time at the beginning to understand my issues and didn't immediately rush to get to work on me. I can highly recommend him to anyone suffering from back pain or other issues. This is the best referral I've ever gotten from another friend. read more

Let me just start to say that this guy mark is not a chiropractor I've been having chiropractor working on me for at least 10 years he's not worth it $150 (he does not give recite either and he try to trick me by charging me to $175 .I hope he didn't do any damage on my spine his method of technique is by touching you with fingers for 20 minute then he try to crack my back not successfully lefft me in the bed for six minute face down while he play with his computer _ (I don't know why) he is one of the worst chiropractor I ever had #I will suggest do not waist your money and go to a professional ... read more

Dr. Vincent saved my life while I was pregnant. Really. My lower back and pelvis were a mess. If not for him and his gentle adjustments I couldn't have kept working out right up to the day before I went into labor. Even now, as I recover from having my darling daughter-he's keeping me straight. If you're one that doesn't trust chiropractors or is leery of their practices this man is for you. He's old school in a good way. He takes his time to examine you and performs minimal adjustments. He also uses Craniosacral Therapy and blocking techniques that are amazing. read more

Mark Vincent is a pro. I had a severe and debilitating headache, and received advice that chiropractic work might help. Mark is an excellent listener, and asked a lot of helpful questions to figure out the source of my pain. After 3 sessions, my headache dissipated. I can't explain the relief and thankfulness I felt. I would recommend Mark in a heartbeat. read more

Strong hands, strong heart. Doctor Vincent is one of the most knowledgeable, and kindest professionals I've ever come across. Coming to him panicked, in poor health, and with a hiatal hernia (which is a mechanical problem this chiropractor helped fix), Dr. Vincent was sure to take his time in quelling not only my anxiety, but my physical pain. Going to him for one problem, he worked on ALL problems. Dr. Vincent dedicates a lot of time to his patients, and is a great man with a great personality. I will be seeing him again and again. If you're in need for a chiropractor in the the NYC area, Dr. Vincent is the chiropractor for you. read more

I have a been a patient of Dr. Vincent's for almost 15 years. I started seeing him after I'd had a terrible slip & fall on some ice and he was the 5th or 6th chiropractor I'd tried, hoping for some relief from the ongoing pain and discomfort I'd suffered for many months after the accident. My search for the right chiropractor back then ended with Dr. Vincent, and I've never even considered seeing anyone else since. His treatments early on set me straight (literally!) and I've continued to see him pretty regularly over the years to treat other serious issues, as well as for "tune-ups." Dr. Vincent never fails to accommodate my schedule, always makes me feel comfortable and valued as a human being and a patient and I always feel like the treatment I'm getting is unique to me and my specific needs and not just some routine he does for everyone. Dr. Vincent is a critical part of my personal healthcare arsenal and I can't recommend him highly enough. He's an amazing chiropractor and super-nice guy, too! read more

I had a lot of neck and shoulder pain before visiting Avalon Chiropractic. I used to go to another Chiropractic office, but it always got better just temporarily. After a few sessions here, all the pain was gone and it never came back! Best thing is the sessions were so relaxing, every time I felt I am in a relaxing spa! I strongly recommend Avalon Chiropractic. read more

I am really glad to have found Dr Mark Vincent. I've seen multiple chiropractors, massage therapists, PTs over the past 8 years and I've never had sessions quite like his. I recently went to Dr. Vincent with a painful back (unconfirmed disc herniation), and he managed to alleviate a lot of the pain in three sessions. The difference with Dr Vincent is that he works hard to find the issues and troubleshoots, instead of just going through the motions of generic adjustments. He's also there with you the whole time and gives you his full attention. Other reviews have mentioned it, but there's something a little ... magical about the experience. Thank you Dr! I began seeing Dr. Vincent this past summer after moving to New York from the Pacific Northwest. Having had to say a painful goodbye to my longtime miracle worker chiropractor, I was thrilled to discover Dr. Vincent. I have suffered from chronic neck, shoulder, and back pain for years following a series of unfortunate car accidents (and desk jobs). Dr. Vincent's treatment methodology of combining traditional chiropractic technique with soft-tissue work has helped me tremendously. Also, I appreciate that he is thoughtful in his diagnosis and actually explains what is happening within the body and what is informing the adjustments that he makes. I came to Dr. Vincent with acute pain, which he has since helped me work out. I'll keep coming for regular tune-ups as long as I am in New York! read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Vincent. I was really wary of going to a chiropractor because of all the things I'd heard. "All they do is crack your back!" "They're not even real doctors!" "It's just a trap to get you to sign up for an appointment every day for the rest of your life!" Well, I can't speak for all chiropractors, but Dr. Vincent is just top-notch. He did an excellent job getting to the root of my problem with a series of questions and tests, and worked to rehabilitate me over the last month. Rather than just fixing my problems, he's taught me some exercises and given me tips about improving my back health on my own. Really, I'm impressed and can't recommend him enough. read more

Dr. Vincent is incredibly thorough in his examination and questions. He takes his time in asking questions about your lifestyle, job, etc. so that he has enough information to give you a proper diagnosis and homework after treatment. All of his adjustments for my back issues have been effective. He will also check in on you after your appointment. Very professional and great at his job! read more

As a student who attends school in Manhattan and is originally from California, I happened to have found Avalon Chiropractic through, out of all things, an internet provider search. Nevertheless, Dr. Vincent is an incredible professional. Not only does he complete a thorough intake evaluation when you first meet with him, but he is able to provide an effective treatment plan that provides long term pain relief without the need for constant appointments. Where his practice truly innovates compared to other chiropractors is in his use of hip blocking. As someone with chronic back and shoulder pain, he has effectively applied such a technique since I first saw him in August to not only improve my posture, but allow for gradual adjustments that have caused the pain and discomfort I felt for years to largely abate. I understand that some people may be skeptical to go see a chiropractor in lieu of an actual doctor or even a physical therapist. I have gone to both. I would be highly surprised if someone still retained such an opinion after spending time with Dr. Vincent. He's a terrific chiropractor that is well versed in effective techniques for long term pain relief. But more importantly, he is a genuinely nice person who cares about his patents' health and well being. read more

After seeing 5 Chiropractors of the past 6 years, I finally stumbled upon Dr Vincent in March. He has been the panacea for the pain that consistently crippled my upper back and made getting through the day a major chore. I'm in my early thirties, and the pain put a wrench in my actively life style. His skill and expertise has immensely improved my quality of life, and I'm sure he'll do the same for you. read more

Doctor or wizard? You'll have to decide. Kind, gentle, extremely knowledgeable and best of all, makes the pain disappear - like magic! I've recommended Dr. Vincent to everyone in my family and for anyone in pain. read more

Dr. Vincent is the best and most thorough chiropractor I have ever been to. I have been going to chiropractors for many years (20+ years) and was very happy when I found Dr. Vincent when I moved to the NY area. Not only is he very personable and easy-going, he takes the time to get to know your problem areas and tailor the treatments specifically for your body and lifestyle. The techniques he is trained in are more advanced and thorough then the common chiropractor. The use of resistance tests, blocking, and other techniques are key to pinpointing and remedying the problems you may have. With two offices to choose from, in Manhattan and Brooklyn, you are always close to an office. And, Dr. Vincent is very open to fitting you in if you are having a flair-up or whatnot. By far the best chiropractor in New York. read more

I've been a patient of Avalon Chiropractic since it opened in 1997. Before I became Dr. Vincent's patient, I was treated by several chiropractors, who were very good. However Mark Vincent is better than all of them. First, from a technical standpoint, he brings into play the best of different schools of chiropractic, using tools and devices as necessary, but mainly using the healing power of his hands to bring relief and comfort to his patients. Second, Mark offers his patients a level of dedication and compassion that is sorely missing from most of the healing professions these days. From Mark, I've not just received adjustments which cured aches and pains, but I've learned how to better maintain my body, whether it's nutritional information or a lesson in how to walk correctly so that damage to knees, hips and spine are minimized. Through the years, I've recommended a number of people to Mark and Avalon Chiropractic, and everyone has been extremely happy and pleased with their treatment. Good man, great healer! read more

Incredible. Best chiropractor I've ever seen. He's brilliant. Whatever your issues, Dr Vincent will help you get to where you need to be.

Dr. Vincent was generous with his time, provided a thorough consultation, and adjustments that were tailored to the specific needs I had. After seeing other chiropractors that left me feeling like I had been through a very generic adjustment, I was very happy with the personalized treatment I received from Dr. Vincent. On top of being generous with his time, he is very accommodating with scheduling and was able to help me in an urgent situation. read more

I came to Dr. Mark Vincent with debilitating headaches. I've had these for a life-time, but now in my early 50s, they were becoming increasingly more frequent. I was losing about 5 days a month because of them, and it was getting worse. Now, six months later, my headaches are reduced to about 1 day in six weeks and the headaches and ancillary symptoms are weaker. This is a great success and life improvement for me. As a full time martial artist, I am also benefiting from Dr. Mark's careful body alignment adjustments. Proper body alignment and posture is a major factor in martial arts, and to my surprise, he found particular deep muscles that are too tight/too loose, and has been making subtle adjustments. Because of this, my kung fu / tai chi has been helped as well! Dr. Mark Vincent is personable, listens, and thinks carefully before proceeding. I am in good hands and have benefited in many ways I did not expect. read more
