    Rude, cocky salesman. Acted bothered that you would dare ask about buying a car. Lost a sale just for his attitude.

(I had a very, very specific set of criteria.) It took a few weeks for what I wanted to finally come up in the price range we were looking to hit but that's just the way things go. He sends emails with info on things he has found and lets you decide if you want to pursue that specific car. He's not pushy and he is very up front about how much everything will cost. He is an older guy who really likes to carry on a conversation (lol) and he really knows his cars. Once my car arrived he helped us get a couple minor repairs (you have to kind of expect this when purchasing a used car) and he was nice enough to buy the parts (brakes and rotors) with his dealer license and gave them to us for cost. He knows a bunch of guys who have reliable repair shops and we were satisfied with the work they did. He also offers extended warranty options and is willing to work with a couple of different banks or credit unions if you need to finance the car. The fact that we went through him again to purchase another car should tell you that we were pleased with his services. Overall, we saved $4000-$5000 on my car and about $3000 on my husband's truck vs. what we would have paid at a dealer. You have to go into this way of buying a car knowing that it will take a little bit of time to find the car you want but the savings is worth it.

    We purchased a used vehicle from Star Motors on Feb 15, 2026. Within 4 days, a "Brake System"…read morewarning appeared. We contacted the dealer immediately but were offered no inspection or help. We requested a Carfax and maintenance records at that time. The Carfax was provided about 1.5 months later, and no maintenance records were ever given. Soon after, multiple warning lights appeared (brakes, power steering, engine). On Mar 24, the car failed to accelerate safely. It had only been driven ~510 miles since purchase. Despite early reports, we were told nothing could be done due to a 30-day window. On Mar 27, inspection found a misfire code and we were told basic maintenance had not been done prior to sale. No resolution was offered. We are now paying for repairs. Strongly recommend an independent inspection before buying. Versión en español: Compramos un vehículo usado en Star Motors el 15 de febrero de 2026. The moment I walked in to the Roswell location, David greeted me, took the time to start conversation, asked if he could be of any assistance while I looked at vehicles, and ultimately helping me in finalizing my vehicle purchase. I test drove two cars that day, David printed out and pulled up all the specs. As a young woman, he did not pressure me, but let me ask questions and take my time test driving and looking at the vehicles. I fell in love with one of the cars, but it was not four-wheel-drive and needed that. So back to the drawing board! Over the course of the following 2 1/2 weeks, David stayed in contact and helped me look for the specific vehicle in four-wheel-drive at Carmax locations across the country. I ended up finding a completely different vehicle at the Lithia Springs location and David helped me with the transfer of getting that vehicle and another that I was tentatively looking at moved over to the Roswell location so I could come in for a test drive and view the cars in person. His promptness and help was above and beyond! There was no feeling of pressuring me to just to get a car because I like it, but talking over logistics and particular needs made this an educational experience for me in a great way! I went in that day with my current vehicle, cleaned out ready to drop off to them to sell, and test drove both of these newly delivered cars. I fell in love with one that had everything I was looking for, and walked away less than two hours later with my old car being traded in and that money used as my down payment and my new vehicle being looked over and ready to hit the road! David made sure to follow up with me over the following weeks to see how I was liking the car, and if I had any questions or concerns. So in writing this review, thank you David for not being a salesman who wanted to take advantage of a young woman car shopping, but in making the experience exciting, educational, and left me feeling good about my purchase and investment in my new car!
