I will give you a review on this shop's other business endeavor which is the Curl Definition System. I received the system after almost 30 days and used it the very next day. I took the time to cut a little over 2 inches(optional, my choice and I needed it)prior to applying the system. I was blown away by the amazing coils my hair was able to achieve, the shine hasn't faded in the week I've had the products on my hair. Not heavy, tacky, no film build up, no flaking and the softness is unbelievable. Not high maintenance, no flat twist, 2 strand twist, pineapple, none of that. Initially, I'd used a Groupon and gotten a relaxer and one of the best haircuts I ever had! Six months later, I returned for a relaxer, cut and color. I asked if semi-permanent color would be used because my hair grade is pretty fine to begin with and it's safer. Toby said a demi would be fine and that he would even use a permanent color if he'd been doing my hair the whole time because it would be healthy enough. Needless to say, you could practically see my scalp afterwards. I went home and cried! In fairness, my hair wasn't in the best condition to begin with. But that is further evidence of why I think a demi was bad advice. I've since ditched relaxers, I eat better, take supplements and I'm back on my way to glorious locks again.. The Tobanizer still gives the best haircuts. He is truly gifted in this area. But I will not return.
