My most recent visit was the worst. I asked for a simple trim and ended up with my hair cut way above my shoulders and bangs that look like something from elementary school. The stylist was very nice, but the cut itself was terrible. For $55 with no style included, the result should not look like something I have to grow out and fix myself at home. What's frustrating is that my husband has gotten great haircuts here, but every time I go, my hair ends up uneven, too short, or completely different from what I asked for. It seems like they do much better with men's cuts because they do a decent job for my husband and his co-workers. I really wanted this place to work out, but the quality just isn't there.

I've been to quite a few Madison Reed locations across the country, and unfortunately this Georgia…read morelocation was pretty mediocre compared to the experiences I've had elsewhere. The bathroom definitely needed some attention. The trash needed to be emptied and the entire space could have used a good cleaning. I understand that at the end of a busy day that may be the last thing anyone wants to tackle, but cleanliness still makes a big difference in the overall experience. The staff also felt pretty neutral. At many Madison Reed locations, I'm greeted warmly the second I walk through the door and immediately feel welcomed. I just didn't get that feeling here. The stylist doing my hair seemed a little rushed, and while I was processing, I stepped next door to grab dinner. When I returned, I learned she had an emergency and had to leave quickly, which I completely understand, but overall the experience still felt disconnected. Every Madison Reed location is different, and I've had some really wonderful experiences at others. This one just didn't have that warm, welcoming feeling I normally associate with the brand. For me, it was probably a one-and-done location. If I'm back in the area, I'd likely try a different Madison Reed.

My hair color was a train wreck, and I really wanted to go out for my birthday that night feeling confident with a new, bold look. I am ABSOLUTELY THRILLED to say that Master Stylist Vivian, Lily, Anthony and Danielle all made my dream a reality. The photos show the absolutely CRAZY transformation of my hair under these skilled stylists. Instead of wanting to put a bag over my head, I am over the moon when I look in a mirror now. Vivian has been doing hair since the 1980s, and she is truly a GENIUS. She was careful, ensuring that the bleach did not fry my hair, and she had the best ideas. It was a long process, of course, but worth all of the hours in her chair. If you need a hair miracle or a color correction like I did, I HIGHLY recommend Vivian and her team at Salon Arcaro without any hesitation. She KNOWS her trade, and she's TRULY a Master of hair ‼

I heard from many locals that this is the place to get your hair cut done and done right. As an Asian Male, there is truly something unique about our hair. As long as you are flexible with anyone to cut your hair, then you can be seen ASAP. I always call beforehand and I always get to be seen same day within the next 2 hours. I only had two people cut my hair here, Michelle and Ken???? Ken is a new guy with dyed hair and speaks limited English. Michelle has been doing this for a while. I loved their old location but this new location definitely helps their salon shine. Lots of natural lighting and room for them to really allow an open space concept with seating throughout for others to see the magic happens. For the price of $28 before tip for a male's haircut, I think it is a fair price to ask in this economy and prime location. Hairwashing and shampoo is included for before and after the cut. Also if you want them to style your hair and prepare it for the day then that is also included with gel/wax/hair spray (your choice). Use cash if you can to avoid the 3% credit charge fee. Highly recommend this place. They will treat you well! Thank you Sen Salon for being you. Support this local one of a kind Asian business.
