I wanted two Ubiquiti APs (one on each floor), several Ubiquiti PoE security cameras, and two CAT6 drops into bedrooms which the builder didn't add. Starlight Tech was able to take care of all of this and the best part was minimal holes in the drywall. There were some small holes that Mike told me about ahead of time, but they were small enough to be covered by standard wall plates. I got shuffled around to three separate folks and ended up on the phone with Ernie. He quoted me $500 for a new digital key pad, $150 for installation and a $45 monthly charge. I told him that my last security company installed for free and we simply signed a two year contract so that they could recoup their money thru the subscription. Ernie proceeded to lecture me about running a business and that the equipment and labor is expensive and told me if I wanted to go with an inferior service that provides free equipment then be his guest. I told him that I would and Tri-Tek lost a potential customer. Ernie needs a lesson on customer service. The fact is that I might have signed up and paid Tri-Tek's upfront costs, but Ernie's condescending mannerism was inappropriate and unjustified. Sorry Tri-Tek, I'm taking my business elsewhere!
