I have used AV Computer Repair twice. "The go to man". About two years ago he came to my house to deal with a printer issue. He was very honest and gave me a suggestion that actually cost him work. He told me it was cheaper to buy a new printer than for him to repair it. I have just used him again. My computer was in repair at a well known (I won't use their name for fear of violating these review guidelines) computer repair organization for two weeks. When it was ready I brought it home and it would not turn on. The fact that it would not turn on was known to them, it was in the list of issues on the repair order form, and they acknowledged to me verbally that it would not turn on. I suggested they check the on/off switch. After they replaced a memory board and did some other things they told me it was ready to go. I got home and it would not turn on !! I called AVCR, and despite the fact he was very busy (and he is), he said bring it in. He immediately did some checks, realized it was just the switch, and came up with the repair right then and there. From now on AVCR will be my first place to go ! read more

First of all Ruben is one of the greatest business owner's I met out here in the city of Lancaster. Yet, I'm not going to lie that when I found out I was going to someone home and he was working out his garage. In the back of my mind I was wondering if I was doing the right thing. Was I handing over my computer to a hustler? I had fear that if I come back the garage will be shut down and if I knock on the door the house would be empty. I know I watch too many movies. There's actually honest people out here trying to earn a living with the skills they have. Ruben is one. He is a man of his word and updated me on the status of the repair. He quoted me two prices the initial price if things go well and the price if this is too difficult to do. At the end of the day, he paid the lower price. I definitely recommend his services.. read more

When my computer went haywire taking longer and freezing often, I wasn't only afraid of losing my data but also my photographic editing programs that I could not afford to replace. Raul found the problem, replaced what was needed and helped me by suggesting (and loading trials) for better my current cybersecurity programs. I had approx 1,000+ bad things taking over my machine. Not only does he know his craft, but also is personable, communicates excellently when it comes to the service needed. Prices are more than fair. Genuine fellow, possessing both knowledge and skill as well as high ethics. Will definitely return if needed without any qualms. read more

I highly recommend coming here! I used to believe my phone carrier would provide the best technical support but I was wrong. When in doubt I will always contact AvComputerRepair (Raul) for any tech issue in the future. My galaxy S6 would not hold a charge, was overheating, and wouldn't turn on. Everyone told me buy a new phone or buy a new battery that would take a week on average to fix. However, he figured out that my charging port needed to be replaced. I am so thankful for his help, I was able to save all of my pictures and important information. Thank you! read more

I was a bit nervous bringing my computer into some guy's garage in an unfamiliar neighborhood - but dont let that fool you. This guy is the real deal. Raul is very knowledgeable, uses high end professional software and a legit setup, and will walk you through exactly what he's doing. I took my PC in after a Windows upgrade messed up its ability to boot properly, and Raul fixed it within 2 hours. He told me exactly what my options were, what they would cost, and was true to his word. I hope I never have to take my PC in again, but if I do, I'm going to Raul's. read more

Don't be fooled by the garage. This is the best computer shop in the AV, by far. Raul is awesome at what he does, and the prices are actually fair. Honestly, don't even bother checking up other places for your computer repair and other electronics repair. I guarantee you won't find a more skilled, trustworthy, quick, and worth-it repair anywhere around. Also, the hours it's open are 9am-9pm. Every day. You're not going to find a place open these hours. I found my computer guy! read more

Best customer service I've had in a long time! I have a child in college in the AV, and AV Mobile Repair worked with me over phone and text and got the job finished. He went the extra mile when the ear speaker on the iPhone 7 didn't work, by ordering the parts (at HIS cost), and not receiving payment until they had come in and were properly installed. I highly recommend AV Mobile Repair. read more
