I called prior and 'Matt' told me there was some salt still available and was there 5 mins later. Matt was outside helping a customer w/ their engine. When I walked in the store to 'Luis' at the computer.. I told him thats all I wanted. Luis continued to mess w/ whatever it was he was on the computer rather than ringing me up to get me in and out. I waited for a few to him making no action and then the store phone rang... He said nothing to me and took action to prioritize the phone call/proceeded to help them over me patiently waiting, over me who was ready to check out. I left due to the clear a blatant disrespect/unprofessionalism. Easy situation but handled extremely poorly with no professionalism whatsoever. AZ PLEASE DO BETTER PLEASE!!! THIS STORE ALWAYS HAS VERY POOR HELP ALMOST ALWAYS! Luis should be NOT be handling customer service as he can't simply communicate or stay on task for a one item PAYING customer. Picked up $50 of oil and took it to the counter to check out. Employees walking around, working on a computer, moving stock and one at the registers but on the phone asking about her unapproved overtime. Im totally ignored by all of them. Phone rings and the unapproved OT answers it and starts working with that customer. Again, I'm ignored. I walked out. read more

do not buy parts from here, not only did they waste my time and tell me my WARRANTY fuel pump would be here last Thursday but told me it would be here today at 10 am, called at 12 and they said call again at five, I finally called and was informed they didn't even order the fuel pump to be warrantied! the one time I didn't use Oreileys and I regretted it. oreileys is right down the street and each location actually has their stuff together unlike over priced auto zone. I turn wrenches for a living and like most mechanics we don't have a month to wait on a part that's not even ordered because of the laziness of its employees. What a joke read more

My son and I were in Tyler (from out of state) to look at a used truck. While on the test drive, a service engine light came on. We took the truck to this location, borrowed the code reader, and had a diagnosis from Jacqueline in less than five minutes. When her "expert tip" for a quick fix didn't work, she grabbed some tools and headed out in front of the store in 98 degree heat to help my son figure out the issue. This was the best customer experience, from any merchant, that I have had in a long time! Thank you, Jacqueline! Because of her help, we bought the truck and felt confident in making the 12.5 hour trip back home to Colorado. Jacqueline will be part of our truck buying story for years to come. read more

Please be aware: I am reviewing THIS STORE specifically. I have probably made 300 trips to this store over the past 20-odd years. An odd thing lately..... the managers are VERY HELPFUL. But: most of the other associates seem just asleep at the wheel! The managers need to bestow some of their cheerfulness onto the regular workers there. read more

Still bad service. Went to bulbs. My bulb is not there, led or normal. Had to ask some kid employee for led bulbs in the back. Instead of looking he tells me they won't work in truck. I will get hyper flashing. I politely tell him I have aftermarket HID and LED light kits. Still arguing with me about ballast and hyper flashing. I ask can I please have the LED bulbs anyway. Not in stock but he can order. Be in in 3 days. Light is out now. Came in for led bulbs and walk out with normal bulbs. Not mad that the LED were not in stock but don't argument with a customer. This guy needs to be fired. I wish I caught his name. It's not on the receipt. read more

I went in for new wiper blades for my pickup and as usual I was greeted with the always nice to hear "Welcome! Anything we can help you with?" greeting. I knew where to go and what I was looking for but wasn't sure on the size, Scott the manager looked up the size I needed and picked out the blades I wanted. As usual they offered to help install them but I made a joke and said I can handle it. Went to the parking lot and installed my new blades and was on my way. After driving around a while I noticed my blades weren't performing as I'd expected and watched them closely for a while before I couldn't stand it anymore, so I went back to the store and made my complaint thinking maybe I'd gotten a bad set. Scott quickly looked at the size I needed and grab some (more expensive) blades off the shelf and went and installed them in the rain. Asked me how I liked those and I was extremely happy. I asked him what's the difference I owed and he said not to worry about it. This is why I always have and always will shop at this parts store! read more

It's all in the first impression. As I was walking up, altho an employee was exiting the store to take a cigarette break, he smiled, nodded and tried to hide the cigarettes (not that it could be discerned that was what they were, it's that he was smoking as I exited the store a moment later) so as to keep the presentation clean. As I walked in the door, I was instantly acknowledged and asked how I could be assisted. I inquired if there were free diagnostics given. And Becky stepped right up with," that's what we like to do here, resolve what issues the vehicle may be having". Ok, maybe not quite how she said it, but that's how it sounded to my ears, cheerful and there to help. We went out, discussed the possibilities, she ran the diagnostic, we went back in, plugged in her device and sure enough, confirmed what we were thinking. She helped inform me as to why the potential of this was happening as well so I would be better prepared going forward. Becky made the whole visit easy peasy. And to top it off, altho I mayn't have purchased anything today (have to order the part at the dealership), she and the staff members have set the precedent that this is where I shall be coming when there are further needs my vehicle shall be having. Ahh, and in order to write this review, I had to call the store to inquire of Becky's name. She happened to be the one to answer the phone. Her enthusiasm is so contagious, I've now had a chipper day at my work. read more

This Autozone is one of the worst businesses I have ever been in. Nobody in the store seems to know anything about vehicles at all. I asked for a certain oil filter, and the guy at the counter seemed to think I was making it up. I found it on a shelf finally, and had to show him. I will never go back to this store. read more
