I came in and after being greeted I said I would like to purchase an audio set. They said the salesman would be right out and when he did she said I wanted some audio for my minivan and he then helped the lady who came in after me. I left and waited outside but no one wanted to help. I heard good reviews about this store. Unfortunate that they have horrible customer service. BAIT and SWITCH?? Hmmmm I contacted S&VC for a window tint. I told them I wanted Limo on all except driver and passenger windows. I was told a quote of $350. The time was done well. When I picked up the car the total was $380, I questioned, and they said it was due to the limo. I told them I mentioned this when I got the original quote. The guy said oh they made a mistake; the problem was that it was the same person I spoke with the entire time. Did they need some extra beer money. Don't let these guys install anything in your vehicle. They do not know what gauge wiring to use for quality amps. I supplied them with all the correct wiring to install my amps and subwoofers, they chose not to use it but didn't tell me until I picked up my vehicle. They not only used the wrong gauge wiring, but they wired my subwoofers to 1 ohm impedance which my amps were not rated. They effectively destroyed my amp which is now out of warranty. They accepted fault but refused to cover the cost to fixing the wiring and replacing the amp. They only reimbursed me the cost for their shotty install. read more

I have given stereo & video center business a few times now and every time they have problems. Today was my last straw with them though. I went in on Monday and showed the manager my screen and let him look at it to make sure it would work with my truck so of course he said it would work so I made an appointment. Fast forward to this morning I dropped off my truck I get all the way home and get a call saying the screen will not work. So I drive all the way back into town to pick up my truck no big deal. But they want to charge me 85$ for "labor" and saying they wouldn't give me my keys if I didn't pay that fee. Mind you my truck has been dropped off for all of 20-25 minutes. So after arguing for a while I don't really have any choice but to pay this extremely ridiculous labor fee for doing absolutely nothing but looking at a cord and saying "oh yeah this won't work now pay us 85$ for that". While the confrontation was going on the young lady working the desk kept chiming in and being very rude and making un needed comments trying to escalate the situation and being very unprofessional and throwing my keys on the table being very dramatic after I was the one being screwed over and scammed! I WOULD NOT recommend this place as they will act helpful at first but will just scam you for more and more money if you aren't careful!!!!! *** Editing this review. If I could give them 0 stars I would! They didn't even put my buttons back the right way. I have my air bag notification popping up on my dash because they were to lazy to hook it up correctly. This is our third trip to Stereo Video Center. We are waiting in their video TV room as we have another video and XM radio installed. Every job has been completed with complete satisfaction with service and quality installations. Our first install was to get XM Sirius in our Jeep. Got a JVC unit with a satellite module add-on. The second trip was to a replace a failing XM module on a Lexus. The new unit needed an adapter (in stock), and it now works flawlessly. The third trip, we are waiting to have a three-camera backup system in a 30 foot motorhome and a satellite upgrade too. We expect to have equally good results this time too. read more

THE ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD. Had an Alpine radio installed and was back every week for two months straight with an issue! Paid over a thousand dollars for the dash kit and radio and had a problem with both. The dash kit caused me to be STRANDED multiple times because it drained my car battery and was not wired properly. And after everything they blamed it on the type of car that i had! The only good that came out of this was that i was able to get my full refund and i WONT be back and i won't recommend this place to anyone! Spend your money somewhere else! read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. I bought a pair of car speakers from here, and was blown away by everything of the sale. The salesman was awesome. I could tell he literally just wanted to make me happy with any purchase I would be making. He then quickly installed my speakers for free on the spot right after I purchased them. The salesman was the best salesperson I've ever dealt with in any service. I wish I would have remembered his name. I would've payed twice as much somewhere else, and it would've taken hours.
