If I could give this place a zero, I would. They were all unprofessional except one gentleman. I needed to get my car battery replaced. Well they didn't have the battery, so I purchased it at the store that I was at. Well that was a big mistake. I was told that the other store would put the battery in my car well they didn't. AutoZone has some rule about if you purchase the battery at that store then they would have to replace it. So here I go back to the other store. I stood there for the longest waiting for the guy who initially helped me to replace my battery. He just sat there and ignored me really everyone ignored me. The guy was rude and really had no manners or customers service skills. He didn't know how to change out the battery. His supervisor made him change it even though he didn't know what he was doing. So he literally walked away without replacing the battery. Here I am standing outside with my car hood up in 90 degree weather. Also the supervisor and the worker were arguing with one another in front of customers. Finally the supervisor had someone to come and help. The young mam who helped was professional and he apologized for the incompetence of his coworker and supervisor. I will never go back there! That location needs training about customer service and how to do their jobs properly. It's a disaster over there! The supervisor did nothing nor did she apologize for the poor service! read more

I haven't had much luck at this store in the past and usually avoided them but this past week was different. I really just wanted to sing the praises of Tyler the manager. He was extremely helpful in discovering the issue with my car and not being able to pass emissions. This location has always been my go to. Earlier this week, I went to purchase a new car battery. In the past, I've just brought my old battery in and out the new one in myself. This time, my cables were covered in corrosion and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to do it myself. Not sure all Autozone's are the same, because some of the ones I have been in before were not as helpful as this location. I had to replace my windshield wipers. Seriously. They were so bad you could hardly see and with Atlanta becoming like Seattle with all the rain, I find myself using my wipers more than I want. So for a $18 purchase, the gentleman told me he'll come outside to help me. Now, I was just going to go home and do it myself. It would have probably taken me an hour to figure out how to remove the old ones and an hour to put the new ones on. But after I paid, he just walked outside with me, popped off the old blades, put the new ones on and thanked me -- yes he thanked me for coming. I returned the thanks and drove home. He could not have been anymore helpful. I just stood there. It nice that they do this type of stuff, cause it makes me want to return when I need something. read more

Fairly pricey store, although I do like the quality of autozone. I went in for windshield wiper blades and wasn't happy with the price selection (actually got a cheaper rate at the car dealership during an oil change). Still, very professional staff, nice location, and a clean store that looks well kept up. Nice store in that aspect, just a little pricey. read more

When I left my house this morning, I couldn't remember whether I hated AutoZone, or the other auto parts store down the street. As soon as I walked into AutoZone, I realized I had made the wrong choice, but I was late for work already, and only needed a couple of things, so I didn't turn and run. My mistake. I give the store two stars because it's clean, and products are well organized and easy to find. The problem is the guy behind the counter. Last time I was in for a bulb for my turn signal. I find it, bring it up to the counter, only to be asked "Are you sure you have the right one?" Well, gosh, no, I'm not sure, because I'm retarded and can't read a catalogue, but, thanks. He then spent 10 minutes trying to sell me bulb grease that I repeatedly told him I did not want, need, or wish to pay for. Today, same experience. After waiting in line for 10 minutes to make my purchase, I was much relieved to find that the other associate was up when my time came. But, there is apparently no stopping super salesman, he was determined that I was going to buy 2 rolls of shop towels for only five dollars. I said "No, thank you," three times before being asked, "What about for those flowers on your chest?" Really? You want to sell me shop towels to clean my tattoos? Alas, I still don't need them. His response, "C'mon, Flowers."Oh, an endearing nickname from a creep. I needed those towels to wash the slime off. I understand pushing sales, maybe you work on commission. I guess that 25 cents must be worth losing a customer. I'm affixing a note to my dashboard that says GO TO O'REILLY'S! read more

Radiator hose blew out on me today. Called several parts places in a hurry trying to find a replacement. Went to Napa they were Sold out... Advance said they had one But when I got there they also were sold out. Needless to say I was frustrated. But I called AutoZone and talked to Jahmal (not sure if I'm selling it correctly since I lost the receipt) and this guy was the best! He not only helped me find the part and the clamps I needed but helped me change out the hoses in the parking lot. All while keeping an upbeat attitude and cheerful demeanor! He really turned my day around and was a wealth of information! I highly recommend this store and if you have the opportunity to be served by Jahmal know that he's a Hell of a guy!!! My first time here and I will be back. Had to replace headlight bulbs in my mother's car on a Saturday morning. Car repair places were quoting 2-4 hours wait. I drove over to AutoZone and accomplished the task in 10 minutes. Staff was very helpful and even stood in the rain to replace the bulbs for me. Now that is service! Highly recommend! read more

I've been going to the Autozone for years until today. The customer service has been getting worse over the years and this location finally lost my business over a quart of oil. They would not allow me to exchange a quart of oil that was the wrong weight because the cashier rang up all the oil using only one quart. Pretty dumb to make an issue over $5, but they did. I recommend the O'Reilly down the street. While the store is not as nice, the staff is very friendly and much more knowledgeable. read more

I cannot give less than one star? This location has ended my consumer relationship with autozone. I do not advise anyone to shop here unless they wish to pay for horribly unprofessional customer service. Went in on a beautiful Monday afternoon to purchase a battery. Evidently the black male with the beard & bald head did Not wish to do any work. As I am leaving the store to go elsewhere & spend my monies. He is just going on & on & on about not owing people anything, " U express sir if you are not going to help me with a battery please shut up talking to me. That African American had the audacity to tell me "you must be talking to yo mama". Now had he have followed me outside I would have been more than happy to share 380° of sweet heat with him. Then to add insult to injury I call the office of Jarvis Allen, the Regional Manager; he has yet to respond in more than 48hrs. The store manager have gave me a half behind apology with sounded genuinely fake. This leaves me to believe that is the acceptable culture of William C. Rhodes III & this company he presides over. I am so glad I am able to shop elsewhere & get good customer service. I only gave it 2 stars because of "security". I should have known to turn right back around when I walked in to see a customer yelling at the employer about the wrong product she gave him. Instead of just giving him his refund she continued to argue with him that she was right. So after about 10 minutes of arguing she finally got someone else to help me. So I went for a headlight. A simple headlight. The guy checked his computer and insisted that I had the correct headlight. I asked if they place it in the car. He said he will go out and check if he could. He open up my hood and proceeded to touch many wires then stated he was not a mechanic so the best option would be for me to go to a shop. Then why did you open up a hood in the first place?? Fast forward to the shop.. They told me it was not the right bulb! They graciously provided me the correct bulb for a lesser price. Anyway I wouldn't be back to this AutoZone again. read more
