I went there today, Friday afternoon to have them service my battery the manager and the work guy working there said they can't change my battery they're not allowed to. It's too difficult to change. They didn't even make an attempt to try to change it or even try to fix it The manager did say to me that he can give me tools to replace it right there and I can pull it out myself and hit some new battery and give me some court charge feedback I thought it was very unprofessional if these people were unwilling to help me or unwilling to give me any advice, he wouldn't even tell me how to take the battery out. He told me I had to Google it on YouTube at myself. It was the worst place I've ever been the manager, and the people working there were very unprofessional they were too busy laughing with other customers about another mechanic who made a mistake rather than try to have a customer who is there in need of a new battery when it's over 100° outside I went across the street to O'Reilly who immediately helped me and took care of me right away and replace the battery in 10 minutes. I would not recommend a store to anyone in the future. I will never go to this AutoZone ever again and the manager and the people working. There are a bunch of jokes and a bunch of clowns are too busy playing around with the customers and laughing about other peoples problems rather than fixing other peoples real deal is the worst AutoZone I've ever been to. read more

Another trip. Another great experience. I had a low beam bulb burn out. I bought the bulb last week on my way to work, planning to replace it when I had time. For some reason, I was unable to remove the bulb on several tries to replace it. Today I went back to the store for help. Jeffrey was the employee that assisted me. He was able to remove the bulb that I had indicated and, to our surprise, it was not the low beam light. The low beam was slightly off to the side of this bulb, just out of sight if you didn't look further back. I laughed and said "well, I'm an idiot" (and I did feel like one). Without hesitation or insincerity, Jeffrey let me know that that was not true and pointed out how easy it was to mistake the beam bulbs. He then proceeded to replace the bulb for me. Once again, this Auto Zone provided excellent customer service. Jeffrey not only pleasantly provided work service but went the extra step to see that I left not thinking of myself as an idiot. He is one of those rare employees that cares about his job and the customers. He is an asset to Auto Zone. read more

Rude, overpriced, wanted to charge me over $100 just to return my old battery then charge me for a for the battery plus the warranty. Over all over $300 and they refused to change it, despite me asking for help before they entered in all the information. They said it is difficult to install. I told them I didn't know how to change it and they said they would not help me. Never go here! read more

I called up asking for replacement leads to my tender battery charger. The man who answered the phone looked, found them in inventory, and I went to pick them up. When I got there he saw me at the charger display and told me exactly what I needed. It was a great experience. I believe his name tag said he was an assistant manager. read more

The Red Bank Store on South Lake Dr. in Lexington, SC will not see me in their door again. I went in close to closing and got ignored for some time by three employees deeply immersed in conversation. I stood for a while and finally said "Yoohoo" trying to make light of an awkward situation but it was obvious their conversation was more important. Sorry to have bothered them. Came here today with cousin to charge a new battery that was recently bought about a week ago by her mom for her BMW so that her car would run. A week later, today, had to bring it back to charge so it could run the car. The guy we dropped it off with said it would be an hour till it was finished and gave us the claim ticket. Skip to TWO hours later, I come back alone and this woman named Lilly served me when I handed her the claim ticket. After checking the back, she came to me and said the battery is no accepting to charge. When I inquired her why she said it is a bad battery. WHAT. That is impossible, this battery is new, it was bought a week ago! To make things worse, my cousin said this woman was actually the same who gave it to them for free since it was under warranty (described right up to the short stature and brown hair curled into a small bun), and she had no memory of selling it to them! WOW. After a few minutes of waiting for her to find the kind of battery, she got a manager who quite simply, said that the battery was big and placed on a slower charger, but it was good. ..............ok. Wish you had just come around and said that, Lilly. Coulda saved me a lot of a trouble and a phone call. Came back 3 hours later and it was done, and they checked it to be safe, so I gave a star back for that. Still, the service here could be a little more informative and concise. I wouldn't come here for my car that's for sure. read more

The staff here, though busy, always seems to care for each awesome are in really help them out. I needed a battery change and windshield wipers changed, and they took care of it for me very quickly. I went by this evening to get a headlight for my 2013 Accord Coupe & was met by an excellent customer service representative who not only helped me find the bulb I needed but he also installed and answered/guided me about my other front lights. Just to add..I had just got this one replaced two months ago at Honda Rosenberg and paid appx. $78.00!! People don't waste your hard earned money to replace simple things. It only cost $14 here plus no BS.. I'm sure the bulb will last longer than 2 freaking months! I will certainly go back here in the future & totally recommend others to go by. Don't be afraid to ask questions, as they are very helpful! read more

I came her once before and a guy named Ricardo. S sold me parts that I didn't need. They take advantage of people who have no clue about cars. Today I went back with my sister we were standing in line and we were in line right in front and again Ricardo and Zachary kept taking all the men before they serviced us. When they finally got to use we go outside and Ricardo said he could help use open the hood because he boys suppose to. He checks out battery and said to drive around and it will work. We come back and the sweetest person there named Alicia came and saw that we were standing there while the other to mean we're just standing talking about bs. She was so sweet she didn't even have training on the machine to check battery's and pulled it off when we were done she went inside to get a quote for the price of the part. She comes back with Zachary making she "she did it right" and we got the same results. She was the best customer service we've ever had at that store, other then grumpy mean who are there just to get a check. read more

I came here to get my battery charged. It was around lunch time so I expected it to be busy, I waited in line and told them what I needed, I was told two people were in front of me waiting to get theirs charged too. I didn't mind and waited, the gentleman before me left so when the associate RAUL finished with the lady in front of me I went up to him and asked him i also needed mine charged if no one else was in front of me, he told me "I'll have to check inside." I watched him go inside and help someone else so I waited, he saw me waiting and asked me again what I needed help with, I told him I needed my battery charged he very rudely asked me "is it one of ours?" I told him that I didn't know because I bought the car two years ago. He told me very rudely again, "well we will have to take it out." He proceeded to walk away and went to help two other customers who arrived after me. I was confused on what to do so I went to my car and waited again, I saw RAUL continue to help other customers, so I went inside and asked Steve if I could get some help, he informed me that their policy was that only one associate was allowed outside and one inside, I told him that I told RAUL that I had been waiting and that he told me that we would have to take my battery out. Raul was outside helping another customer who also arrived after me. I went back to my car and waited another 15 minutes, I went back inside and saw another associate working and asked if anybody could help me with my battery. A young male was happy to help me. After almost an hour of waiting Raul came outside and apologized only after my mother made a call and complained. He proceeded to ask me how he was rude to me, I told him it was done and over with and that I already had someone else to help me. I work in retail so I understand how it is to be busy and short handed, I also understand that EVERY customer deserves exceptional customer service no matter how busy you may be. I will definitely be going to another location if i am ever in need of Auto Zone's services. read more
