I took my Toyota Sequoia 2008 at my scheduled appointment at 12:30 for a master switch recall. All…read moreswitches were malfunctioning and loose. I waited over two hours and found my master switch control just as loose as it was when I brought it in. The intake guy said nothing to me! I discovered it before leaving the dealership and went back inside to inform Kevin. He simply said "that is not part of the recall and not his problem. I need a new switch then. I am busy about to go on lunch !" and sent me off to the parts store. The part would be a whooping $641.13 no labor included and would have to be ordered! Researching the part via Toyota website is half the price! I am shocked the intake guy Kevin and the technician Heriberto Vasquez were lying about having repaired it when nothing was done to the switch. Why? Because it's a recall item and to no cost to the customer. So, they simply pretend to fix the part but do nothing to it. In other words, there is no commission to be made, so let's just pretend to fix it? Do not bring your car to service there! They will lie and cheat you.

My friend recently got a chance to visit before they closed up during this pandemic, and bought his entire family safety gear for their riding ATVs and quads on their farmland. Had six new Yokohama tires placed on my RV Friday afternoon. Everything went well, very quick…read more they were straightforward with the pricing, we were able to order the tires earlier in the week. So everything was ready to go when we arrived. As I now write this my driver front tire is completely flat. Looks like possibly valve stem failure, but the tires have not been on the car more than 24 hours as of writing this. Bummed they are closed on Sundays... we'll see how convenient this is to get it fixed or resolved Monday afternoon after work.? Update...I was at their front door 8 o'clock Monday morning basically saying WTF. At first they said I should call AAA , for them, possibly to remove the tire for me to bring it to them. but I voiced my displeasure with that option considering I feel they put me in this position. The gentleman seemed to see the light and had a coworker follow me to the house, which was no more than 2 miles from the shop. They took care of it, new valve stem and all within an hour. Since I have been getting my tires at America's tires for a long time now. I have an account set up with this company. However, when I called Pittsburgh America's tires to get a second time alignment. The guy on the phone named Carlos. Was very little to none help for me. The value of his professionalism is degrading. I felt like I was being mocked over the phone. He totally took my words out of conduct and twisted them. I basically had told him that my Mechanic had told me that I needed an alignment on my vehicle. Carlos's mindset was thrown off. Totally went off topic about the situation. Talking about how they don't do mechanical work. That's not what I was asking. What I was asking Carlos is how much would it be for an alignment? Then he's the one that told me that he did the alignment on my vehicle the first time. Then why am I having to go the extra stretch in explaining myself? If Carlos has originally did my alignment the first time? Why didn't he get what I was telling him? More to the story really. Because the converse over the phone was absolutely ridiculous. I had told him that I have history in the computer system with America's tires. He can look up my information by the computer. So back in forth , such a waste of time. Just totally back-and-forth when it's really simplistic work. How much would it be to get an alignment? I would like to make an appointment? Finally, I was already frustrated at the quality of Carlos' Customer Service skills. At little to none. I finally had told him that I would like to speak with a supervisor. Carlos had me on hold for awhile. No one came to the phone. Then he got back on the phone to listen to see if I was still on the phone. Finally, I hung up ! And contacted a supervisor named Robert. Please train Carlos on how to deal with customers. Both complicated and uncomplicated.
