It was not serious and I knew I could buff it out but I didn't know what kind of compound I should use. I'm from out of town and the AutoZone where I live, has helpful and knowledgeable employees so naturally I searched for an AutoZone nearby. I walked into the business and talked with an employee, Genia and asked if she would come outside to take a look at the scratch on the side of my car. She came outside with me, looked at the scratch, took her finger and immediately was able to rub some of the residue off. We went back inside the store where she showed me a line of products that would effectively buff the scratches out. She told me that I did not need an expensive compound because the less expensive ones were basically the same product. Genia was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and did not try to sell me a more expensive product. She was pleasant throughout my visit. She is definitely an ambassador for this place of business. Last one was an AGM and ran almost 10 years. I have a couple of vehicles which include a motorcycle and RV and I do pay a lot of attention to my batteries; keep them fully charged with a charging tender and a couple times a year, run a desulfation cycle. I've been driving the same 97' Buick "Skylark" for 16 yrs and "I" gave "him" the wrong model??? The 2nd time they gave me a fuel pump that my mechanic told me was obviously re-boxed and was missing the O-ring that comes with every new fuel pump, so I ended up having to drive all the way to the store off Peoria Ave/I-10 to replace it. The guy over there confirmed what my mechanic told me, and when I told him which store I got it from, he just rolled his eyes and said, "figures". The 3rd time I didn't buy anything, but the guy "wrote a ticket" for me to pick up at another store because they didn't have everything there. Needless to say I need to re-think my patronage at this place. UPDATE: Against my better judgement, I bought a tranny mount from these guys a couple weeks ago and had my mechanic switch it out, and guess what? IT DIDN'T FIT! It was the "Pronto" brand which I will never buy again (they make a whole line of "cheap" automotive parts). The entire wheel well was torn apart so I had to make a quick decision. We called O'Reilly and they had the "Anchor" brand in stock. I ran down the street and picked it up, matching it up first with the old mount we removed, brought it back and it fit like a glove. Problem solved. In all honesty, it was twice as expensive as the Pronto ($34 compared to $18), but in the end it would have been well worth it with all the time and gas my mechanic and I would have saved. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

On top of that, my car suddenly had a humming noise after their service. When I took it back, they changed their story and said I actually had a leak, and that the humming noise was "probably" a transmission problem. Then they wanted to charge me another diagnostic fee. So after spending over $600, my AC still didn't work, my car came back with a new noise, and their solution was to ask for even more money. Completely unacceptable service. I will not be returning.

Can I give 0 stars??…read more I bought a claimed 70k motor for my Tundra, had it installed at a shop, under 2k miles later (having changed the oil twice & paying attention it was not losing any) it threw a rod. Contacted Precision, first it's you must have run it without oil, then it's a few days past 6 months, then yes you found us & had us deliver it but the shop added it to your bill & paid us so we won't talk to you. So I am putting a new motor in for a few hundred more than I paid for the junk motor & spending another north of 9 thousand dollars. As if all that was not bad enough, it cost me 1k to find out the motor was trash because I thought it was just a starter & the Sequoia starter is a massive hassle to get at so it cost a fortune. Avoid these horrible people selling junk for a premium price
