thank you to the amazing manager that helped me install my new wipers, i am so grateful. i told a women over the phone i purchased them last week, and if i can bring them in to be installed, unfortunately she argued with me, even though i told her they were purchased through auto zone. i have work and was only available today to bring them. she still told me no. i still came to the store after another hour of trying to figure out how to install them. he came out to help me, but as he's coming out she's complaining that she already told me no over the phone. he fixed them for me in less than 5 minutes. it's sad that i was constantly denied, and being treated like a liar from this person, i work full time and had the confidence to replace them myself, but i couldn't figure it out, sadly she was so rude. so i write this review as a thank you to the manager that stepped up and helped me for a quick moment, a quick act of kindness really does a long way. read more

I had the displeasure of dealing with Danny first as I was trying to get brake pads. I asked Danny if my pads were still under warranty. After looking at the first and dying they have been returned before... That the lifetime warranty wasn't on them anymore.... Then he saw another pair that were he check with manager to make sure we could return old after replacing, double checked with a manager to verify also... Came back about HR or two later to deal with manager Michael while Danny was sitting off to the side. They refused to return the pads after it was verified, when my firned told him we were doing a trip to visiti her dad due to a family member passing, Michael was super quick to add he didn't not care about any sob story and it had nothing to do with what we were trying to handle. After Danny not taking responsibility for miscommunication and Michael's shit tier management style and being a genuine low class form of life.. we left anger my friend forgot her wallet . So dumb and dumber let her leave she had to call to find one t she left it there and come back and deal with these two low life employees and human beings. It was a 54 dollar pair of brakes that could have been easily refunded and they could have been credited through inventory, literally would not hurt their bottom line. This behavior is so appealing and unbecoming both of these gentleman should get a wonderful new years gift . A trip to the unemployment line for their wonderful lack of service or care in their jobs. read more

Dead battery, fortunately at my home. Had a great experience with AAA, but once he jumped it he said if u shut it off u prob won't get it started again. My AAA guy Kurt said it's just the terminals and 2 bolts. First place I called said "2014 Camry's difficult and we can't do that." I'm not one to argue if u don't want my business. Called AutoZone, she asked the same questions about my car and engine. I'm really thankful to this AutoZone. Going thru a difficult time and now that my car is running again I'm looking forward to being able to work. I bought a new battery from this location a few months ago. Unfortunately the battery started having problems and turned out to be bad. So tonight I went to get a new battery swapped for the old one, since I have a warranty on it. I asked if someone could remove and install the old/new battery, but they said no because it was dark. I was parked in the very front near the lighting and they have flashlights if need be. They still said it's "company policy" that they couldn't do it, so I did it myself. I said "you guys should give me this battery kit (the stuff with the goop for the battery) for free since you didn't help me with my battery" and one of the guys said , "no we can't give out stuff for free". And supposedly there was no supervisor/manager on duty at night to talk to. The first time I paid for the battery, they didn't remove/install it for me either, and it was day time! Even though I hear the commercials about how AZ will install the battery for their customers. Pretty disappointed in the lack of customer service that they gave me. read more

My daughter lives in Turlock and had battery problems with her car this evening. After getting her car battery jumped, she went to the AutoZone on Geer road to purchase a battery. She had called prior to going and was told that they had one in stock, however, when she arrived to purchase, she was told they didn't have the one she needed and the person she spoke to must have keyed it into their system wrong. Her car of course wouldn't start again and their battery jumper WASN'T STRONG ENOUGH to jump her battery. Leaving her stuck/stranded. So, her father went to the McHenry location to purchase a battery for her car, as they said that THEY DID have one in stock when he called prior to going to their location. He purchased the battery, drives to the Turlock AutoZone location, goes to install it for her, it's the WRONG BATTERY! Are employees at all locations this inept at doing their jobs? I'll be picking my daughter up in the morning and take her to AutoZone ONLY to get a refund on the wrong battery they sold her father and then go to a different Auto parts store where HOPEFULLY they will have their act together. We are SO DONE with AutoZone. Store looks SO BRIGHT from the outside, but is apparently very DENSE on the inside. read more

I just got my car serviced at Jiffy Lube down the street yesterday, Friday (07/02/21) and they informed me I needed a new air filter and that they didn't have any in stock so I would need to wait another hour so they could pick one up. I informed them I would pick one up and install it myself no problem. I stopped at this location, went straight to the back where the air filters were. When I got there the area is so unorganized and messy it took me nearly 25 minutes to look for the one I needed. Not one person ever came to check on me and not one came to assist me. Which is weird because most Autozone I been too they have some of the best customer service. I even called O'Reilly across the street while in the store asking if they had one in stock they said not in stock right now. If they did I would of never gave them my business. I gave them 2 stars because they were at least nice enough to say hi to me when I entered the store. read more

I brought in my old car battery to replace it n the employee was trying to sell me every type of battery except the type of that, I needed n the old battery was right in front of him all the batteries he was showing me had the wrong battery post on the wrong. Today, I called the stored n had front windshield wipers n a back windshield wiper for back it was all arrange they said they install all the wipers with no problem, I told them, I was disable that's why, I like Auto Zone they help you not today, The attendant installed the two front windshield wiper n refused to install the rear wiper after they said they would install it. I called the n spoke to the, Manager Maria she said they would install the wipers then, I told her what happen n, I would be a returning customer no more tired of all their bad service! read more
