Aug 14 2026, I called to see if they had my part and the night crew locked the door so that I wouldn't be able to complete my purchase! July 28.... Night crew at this autozone! My daughter needed a new battery. Just got jumped to head to autozone to buy a new battery so she wouldn't have to get another jump before work tomorrow. The staff wasn't helpful at all and told her they didn't replace batteries in the dark. Then finally came outside to look at the car. Looked under the hood at the battery compartment and didn't know what tools to use to get to the battery. They told her they couldn't do it for her because they couldn't be liable for damaging the car. Eventually Gave her a jump so she could get home. This Autozone needs some training and some compassion for anyone who comes to their business to get the service that their website states they do! read more

I went in to pick up some coolant for my vehicle since the dealership did a multipoint "inspection" and missed the fact that my coolant reservoir was drier than your typical heavily drought stricken Californian mountain range. Laura took me to where they were supposed to be but unfortunately saw that they were out of stock. She informed me that she remembered getting a pallet in recently of restocking items and said shed go and check. She told me they were still packed up and told me to give her a second as she pulled them out for me. 10/10 service!!! read more

The good thing about this store is that it has a loaner tool so you can do some minor repair out in the parking lot, like removing battery mount off your car, air filter change out, etc... depending on staff members, some actually come outside to give you a hand or two. Loan-A-Tool Program: " Need a specialty tool to check a system or make a replacement? With Loan-A-Tool, you can get the tool from them, return it when you're done, and save a bundle. " If you have questions regarding parts, they will try their best to answer them with the best knowledge as they can. The parts here are generic so, if you're looking for O.E.M. parts, best to contact your local car dealer or go online to order through their website at your preferred dealer. About this store parts, they have some pretty good warranty, so if the parts failed on you sooner than expected or damaged parts on arrival, they are more than happy to assist. Autozone Rewards: " Earn a $20 reward when you make five purchases of $20 or more at AutoZone with AutoZone Rewards. Register a new account today and receive exclusive AutoZone Rewards emails and offers. " Let's dive into the part(s) I purchased: Items purchased: 1. Lexus IS250 Water Pump and Timing Belt Kit 2. Prestone - MAX Original Equipment Antifreeze + Coolant: Asian Red/Pink, 50/50 RTU, 1 Gallon 3. Mobil 1 - Extended Performance Full Synthetic Motor Oil 5W-30, 5 Quart So far, the vehicle running fine. And yes, I replaced them myself, took approx 2hrs. Piece of cake. This place is unique in their own way, from design and presentation, it's pretty nice. If you're in the area, stop by and say hi. Share your experience. P.s. Don't forget to smile cause you're beautiful. SYOY! read more

I had a dead battery and came in to purchase cables for a jump start late at night. Eduardo was so helpful and gave me great information when I was already in a stressful situation. I went into this location on a Saturday and purchased a bundle. Part of my bundle was a cabin filter. The computer said they had three in stock. The sales person told me that they would locate it and hold it for me for pick up Sunday at 10am. He also made me go through signing up for their rewards program since I had a large purchase. He gave me the whole spiel on how it would benefit me. I returned to the store Monday at 7:11pm and handed them my receipt and told them I was there for a pick up. The guy holding my receipt did not locate it and turned to me and asked "Are you sure you're at the right store?". I held my composure and simply pointed out that the receipt he was holding not only has the store number but also the address. He went over to the manager and the manager asked when I was suppose to pick up. Slightly frustrated responded back and told him yesterday at 10am. He went into a back area and came out with the filter. Fast forward I went into another location a week later to make a purchase and they asked for my phone number. The system did not locate me. I handed the clerk my previous receipt and was told that they never entered me into the system because if they did my name would have been on the receipt. Bottom line no credit for my large purchase. I won't even get into the fact that they all move at a snails pace so if there is more than 1 person in line be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes. read more

I went into this store today and the male manager talked down to an older employee which really made me uncomfortable. Not cool. read more

They have a ordering option at a kiosk which is called key me. There was a drop down for a transponder like the one that has a sensor or a chip. It said they would send someone to program it which they did not mention is that it's an additional cost. I wish I knew or else I would of just ordered a lock smith that specialize in car keys from the start instead of waiting for a whole week. The lock smith cost $280 plus tax. The good thing is that Key Me, refunded my key since it didn't work. It was done virtually there is no phone numbers. This is not associated or has anything to do with autozone. Autozone have knowledgeable people, I got a new battery with a warranty. They let me replace the battery within a year to upgrade to an expensive one which I appreciate. Just incase no one knows that they offer that! read more

NEVER EVER let anyone install or touch your car here!!There isn't even an option to put zero stars on here because it was the worst DISSERVICE I have ever gotten. I went in to get a new battery for my Hybrid and the cashier asked if I would like it installed. Long story short, 4 employees came out to try and install it, but instead FRIED my entire computer and left me having to leave in a tow, because they couldn't be honest and say they didn't know what their doing. Now they are lying saying I came in a tow, because they can't be decent beings and own up to damaging my car. What scandalous people these "employees" are. These damages are over $2100 so far, so please believe me when I say, never ever come here. You are better off doing that shit yourself on a YOUTUBE video then letting one of these people people help you. Beware... read more

Was greeted with great energy as soon as I walked in. Was asked what I was looking for and immediately assisted, provided options & preferred dealer choice, made my purchase was out 10 minutes flat. Reason for 3 stars???..well the guy was so helpful that he gave me the wrong product which could have caused damage to my car if used. So I had to return and exchange for the correct product, with no hassle. So bottom line, never trust a big smile to save time (O-o). I still would return the guy was great, I just recommend double checking the facts before leaving the store. read more

Sales rep tried to lie to me about the battery size for my car. It showed online that I need a H6 size, but he tried to convince that just because it was a cheaper battery that the size which clearly read H6 was too small. Then try to upsell me another one that had the same size, but it wasn't in stock so I sent to another store, but I ran out of time before I had to head work. Out of curiosity, I went to a different store the next day and to no surprise the original one I chose did, in fact, fit my car. And had he not lied and just sold me the one I came for, I wouldn't have gone through any of this. DON'T LIE TO CUSTOMERS, WE WILL FIND OUT! read more

He did not log into the computer at all so i went to the sante fe store where they had the part in the back. When your car won't start it can cause for a stressful situation. I immediately called AutoZone to see if they could test the battery which was only a few months old. Peter T, the store manager answered my call and told me to come in. When I arrived there were several people in line ahead of me. I left my car running in the parking lot because I was afraid if I turned off the engine I wouldn't be able to get it to start again. As I tried to patiently wait for my turn, I heard everyone cracking up. I soon realized Peter was the same nice guy who I had spoken with on the phone. He was making everyone laugh which instantly put my anxiety at ease. He was able to keep the line moving while providing updates in real time. I believe they were understaffed or maybe I came at a busy time, but Peter made what is typically a stressful situation, smooth sailing and dare I say fun? His easy going attitude and deep knowledge combined with his ability to multitask made me realize I was in great hands. He tested my battery and gave me the diagnosis while keeping me and the other customers smiling the entire time. I had a great experience all due to Peter and hopefully I won't have to go back but if I do I'll be sure to see if Peter is working. read more

Saturday 5/11/24, I went to this AutoZone 2401 Long Beach Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90806. I encountered a young man without a smile. I greeted him with Good Morning. I could tell he was having a bad day. So I informed him why I was there and began to make small talk. He helped me as I explained I needed some oil and didn't know where to put it and can he help me with that? He assured me it was no problem. After my purchase we went outside, I popped the hood and he showed me where the oil went. He proceeded to pour the oil and I told him to smile more be cause we ladies need it. He then laughed and I asked his name he said Yunis. He was so kind and thoughtful and further advised me about the oil and what I needed to do next. I told him I appreciated him and asked if I could give him a tip and he refused. We concluded our business and I thought "what a kind, friendly, professional, caring and knowledgeable young man Yunis is". So this is why I am writing this Yelp comment. Please thank Yunis again for me for a job well done. He gave me his smile, and that meant a lot to me as Mother's Day was the next day and my oldest son had died last year and next month is the anniversary of his passing and I really was feeling down, but his kindness and help made me feel a whole lot better. I contacted the manager over 3 weeks ago at the Auto Zone located at 2401 Long Beach Blvd. in Long Beach, CA regarding filing a warranty claim on a brand new engine I purchased from that store for my 2010 Lincoln MKZ. The new engine has a 36 month warranty, and it was purchased on 08/02/2016 for a cost of $3149.99, so it is clearly still under warranty. Prior to contacting Auto Zone, I was told by the local Lincoln dealership that my engine was badly leaking oil as a result of the valve cover gaskets, the upper intake gaskets and the oil pan gasket all being bad. The Auto Zone manager on duty called someone, who I assumed was with Auto Zone's warranty claim department and spoke for about 15 minutes and the manager asked me several questions that were relayed by the person on the phone. I was told by the manager that I should by expecting a call from someone from Auto Zone's warranty claim department in the next few days. Well now it has been over 3 weeks and no one who has identified themselves as being from Auto Zone has called me. I did however receive a very strange phone about a week after going into the Auto Zone to begin the warranty claim process. I receive a call from a local Long Beach number claiming they were calling from my dealership, and asking me to call a different number to speak to my service advisor. Since I had just been in the dealership a week earlier, I knew my service advisor by name and I called him back at the phone number I already had for him from my previous service visit. He said he did not call me, and when I asked him to look up the two phone numbers involved in the call that I had just received, neither phone number was in the directory of phone numbers of employees at that dealership. I would like this issue to be resolved by Auto Zone replacing the defective engine, paying any associated labor costs and honoring the warranty on the new engine that I purchased from their store located at 2401 Long Beach Blvd. in Long Beach, CA 90806. read more
