I rarely frequent an auto parts store. But when I do, it's usually an AutoZone or an Advanced Auto…read more For this particular outing, I really only needed a gallon or two of windshield washer fluid and this O'Reilly's was the closest to me without going out of my way. I will admit, I've never been to an O'Reilly before. After this experience, I can't say I'm likely to return, regardless of convenience. I walked in one afternoon last week with my 8 year old son to a completely empty store with the exception of one customer at the front desk. There were 3 associates working that I could tell. None of them greeted us, asked if we needed any help, nor did the old lump-on-a-log associate who checked my order out at the cashier stand even act like he wanted to be there, much less friendly or welcoming towards myself or my son. In actuality, he seemed put out that he had to ring me out for 2 gallons of windshield washer fluid - such a chore, I know! This guy seriously had the personality of burnt melba toast. Very offputting. Regardless, we made our purchase, retrieved our receipt, and walked out. I will not be walking back in. They get 3 stars docked for these 3 reasons: 1. The rudeness of the employee who "assisted" us. Not. 2. The higher-than-average prices on their add-on items such as our purchase of the washer fluid. 3. The fact that the receipt literally printed out via DOT-MATRIX PRINTER. 1988 called, they want their printer back. Seriously, it's nearly 2020. Upgrade your mess.

went in needing a key fob battery and the older gentleman working there was extremely kind and…read morehelpful. He didn't try to upsell me or make things complicated. He just genuinely wanted to help. For context, another store not only tried to tell me that just changing the battery would mean I'd need to "reprogram" the whole key fob (which is completely false), they also said I'd basically be taking a gamble if I bought the battery from them. This guy quickly swapped the battery for me and (surprise) it worked perfectly without needing to "reprogram" anything, no gamble required. 10/10 service. I really appreciate people who actually care about customers.

My battery died literally right across the street from Advance. I had no tools so I went in and…read moreasked what size socket I needed for my car. They offered to loan me some tools. I said great! I'll just go pull it out and bring it back to get the core and buy a new one. Immediately the manager in back yelled no way. He stated "If you need tools you'll have to buy them our tools don't leave the premises." I asked if I could leave my drivers license because it would only take a few minutes. He said no. I felt like he made a bad judgement call under the circumstances So I went elsewhere and spent $200.00 on a new battery and a couple of tools. This is the closest auto parts store to me. I have lived here for 35 years and I won't be going back again. I'm a disabled senior citizen and veteran. I truly wish that customers got treated like they did when I was young.

I did and it was so much cheaper then all other places I called for an estimate. I had my appointment and it was super fast and easy. Needed tire valve stems replaced. Called the Automotive Dept. the day before, spoke w/Paul. They…read moredid not know if they had the correct stems, therefore I had to go purchase them myself and they would install them. I decided to go into the store the next day to have them to remove my tire from the rim, and remove the stem, so that I could have it in hand to ensure that I would be successful in purchasing the correct part. This visit turned into an unnecessary and unbelievable nightmarish event! The entire Automotive team failed to provide me with quality customer service. They were unprofessional, incapable of listening and comprehending, and very disrespectful. Especially Jonathan!! I will exclude Paul because he was the only redeeming factor. Thomas, Jonathan, Michael, and T (female behind the counter) did not represent Walmart in a positive manner. Once Paul convinced me to allow them to help me, they removed the tire from the rim, and discovered that they had the part on hand that was needed. Within 30 minutes they were finished, no charge of course. Thomas performed the work, and despite the disrespect on his part, I felt that he needed to be paid, and so I did. I will be filing a more detailed and formal complaint with Walmart as to how this team treated THEIR customer, since not one of these employee's names are on the building. I refuse to tolerate bad service and disrespect from anyone, and you don't have to, either!! If more people stand up against this type of behavior, perhaps good quality customer service would return!

When I called to schedule an appointment to have the truck serviced under the warranty they provided as part of their "service", I was transferred from Trish to the "owner" of the garage , who proceeded to yell and curse me (and yea, I yelled and cursed back), but he REFUSED to honor the warranty and told me to "go fck myself and find someone else to fix your piece of sh#t": Based on what other customers say about this place, it's a decent shop as long as they don't really have to work to fix a problem that a backyard mechanic could handle. I will again state that they do not do business above board and will look to wring the most amount of money out of their customers for the least amount of work. I have better things to do with my time, but I will be filing suit against them for failing to honor their warranty just because I hurt their feelings with a negative business review. Sad business practice

ISSUE: Our 2012 glow plug AND engine light was lit. Shop diagnosed recommended repairs - we agreed upon the repairs and expected to get our vehicle back drivable. We picked up the vehicle- 15 minutes later the engine light coded AGAIN and we spent allot of money only to return the vehicle for diagnosis. Owner recommended we attempt VW and second diagnosis was diesel particulate- how can this be? We spent allot of time and money to get the vehicle in drivable (ie no check engine light) condition- owner suggested another new equally expensive repair - Had enough run around and brought car to the professionals who was our trusted repair team and got a repair list a mile long that European never shared or reported to us. We should never have had the glow plug repair done and we should have driven vehicle straight to a junkyard A professional will admit his errors and apologize but based on the reviews we know he will become defensive, immature, and confrontational about a review that isn't positive Beware bringing your vehicle here - it's sad when people air their opinion in public and the owner, rather than take ownership, responds like a child
