The absolute worst place to get an oil change and tire rotation. They pretend to do an oil change and tire rotation, vehicle inspection and top off in 10 minutes. What a joke!!!!!! NONE OF IT WAS DONE and refused to show me the video of them completing the work. Well, surprise surprise, none of it was done and they even tried to charge me for it. When I called them out on their lies, they kicked me out. Also, don't leave your vehicle with them, because the time before this I actually caught them going to a grocery store with my vehicle. Was interested in purchasing a vehicle from Gupton Motors, and informed the sales representative that I wanted to buy a specific vehicle for which we had established an agreed-upon deal. I then waited to receive paperwork via email to put my deposit down for the vehicle, since an agreement had been made. Later, I was informed that the vehicle had been sold out from under me AFTER I had already agreed to purchase the vehicle. My best guess (assuming positive intent on the saleswoman's part) is that she forgot to mark the car as sold, so it was mistakenly shown to another customer. Regardless, Gupton failed to honestly own up to their mistake, which was quite maddening. When I showed interest in a comparable vehicle, since the one I preferred was sold out from under me, Gupton dragged their feet on matching the deal we'd already agreed upon. Really bad impression of these guys -- not only failing to own up to their mistakes, but also not even making an effort to make it right with the customer... Too bad -- took my business to another Jeep dealership that was very pleasant and honest! read more

I took my Jeep in for service, and they went above and beyond. They not only listened when I explained the problem, and what I thought was wrong (this never happens anywhere else) but they took the time to explain what they diagnosed, and why it was very similar to what I was suspecting. They needed to keep my Jeep overnight, and arranged a ride home for me within minutes. The next day my Jeep was ready on time, and they even took extra steps (again, never happens anywhere else) to ensure I wouldn't be experiencing any issues anytime soon. Earlier this year I ordered a Ram 1500 Sport with exactly what I wanted. I was shown a price with rebates and told more could apply at the time of purchase, but the price wouldn't go up. I go make a deposit of $500 to order it. Fast forward to 4th of July, truck comes in early so I go to see about buying it. Just so happens 0% was out on Ram 1500's so I am curious about that and would consider giving up rebates. I'm given the run around about it not being available on my model because mine was a crew cab which was "not" on the list of 0%. Then the finance manager completely botches the final sale price. Shows me payments in the mid $700's when I had agreed to under. Shows me 2.9 interest, when I had 2.7 from Navy Federal. Forgot to mention they will not honor my service with $500 off because even though I served 5 years and was honorably discharged I do not qualify. So I walk out. I agreed to wait until the agreed date to pick the truck up give another $500 then leave. The NEXT day 0% comes out across all Ram models. I find out and say give me the best price with no rebates, meaning dealer discount. This goes on for several days. My financial advisors looks at a sheet they gave me with rebates vs none plus rebates with trade vs none with trade. He says ask why they overcharged you $300 on taxs. He then shows me the link to Robertson Cty tax calculator for new vehicles. Sure enough it was about $3000 (tax office) vs $3300( which was on my sheet) Adds in I would think you'd get a better dealer discount if you went with 0 seems like they aren't wanting to work with you. I decide to wait because now I can't make heads or tails if these guys are good. I then notice they say we agreed to a sale price, but in the 4 options the price changes. It's Labor Day, I call to find the hours and I'm told 7. I get there at 4, see my sales guy he says give me 30 mins I agree. I wait until 5:20 to be told the manager left early around 4 and no one is there to work numbers since They closed at 5. Why was this not said when I got there? I'm told the same story. We "agreed" on a price at time of order. No we did not. A deal isn't done until the paperwork is signed. I would never agree to a price without seeing the truck and what discounts applied. Who would? I hand him my offer, leave and say I'll be back tomorrow. Meanwhile, this story is not offer as it is 9/5/17. Miracle Dodge, Jeep, Ram etc is offering me a similar truck, more for my trade in and wait for it...they want to sell it without the hassle. So now due to great salesmen at Gupton I have a dilemma. Wish I could give them zero stars! They are very quick to call you when it comes to buying a car, but not when they realize they have your registration... Gupton Motor Inc. put the wrong tags on my car in March 2021 and stuck the wrong registration in the clove box. Let's just say I had a fun Sunday morning with the cops! I called Gupton's after the incident with the cops and left a message. Monday morning I had not received a phone call from them, so I take it upon myself to call. I ask to speak with the person in charge and got sent straight to voicemail. Instead of the man in charge returning my phone call it was the salesman that mixed the tags/registration. He acted like it was my fault. He said, "Well I have your tags right here in my hand." Why in the world did you put the wrong ones on there. It makes no sense to me if they realized they had my tags why I never got a phone call from them as they have had them for about 9 months now! I finally talked to whomever was in charge and he was so kind to give me a sorry it's just a human error. Yes as it is a human error you need to put a better process in place so this does not happen to someone else, such as: double checking the information before putting it on the vehicle or contacting someone when you realize you still have their tags. read more

My buying experience was exceptional, Joe Mcpherson from Gupton worked with me to make sure I got what I wanted. However, If you plan to get maintenance performed seek that else where. The maintenance department continues to be problematic. Until the the owner gets quality leadership in the maintenance department it will continue to frustrate patrons. I turned my Jeep to have a trailer hitch installed, when getting in my vehicle; I found white paint on the passenger seat, someone trimmed his finger nails and left them on the floor board of the vehicle, ad grease stain inside of the door handle and lastly that same individual had some oily substance on them and smeared it on the the door panel. What's most disturbing is the owner would not even come out after my sales man addressed the situation to the owner. He told me that the owner would only look at the vehicle after I left the car lot to avoid any confrontation. He was to ashamed to face me and say I'm sorry. We had to make arrangements again to get both of us to work, not once was there a" hey use this car I'm sorry will get if fixed. My wife called to see if the vehicle had been cleaned up, and the service manager had no clue what my wife was talking about. She had to repeat what happened. He also refused to talk about anything other than the jeep was cleaned up of the four above mention discrepancies. Never once even apologizing for what happen. Once I shared with my salesman the story I was going to post, he called to delay that. He said someone would and get with us and call, cal? for what say you were sorry. Its important for customers to support the community of businesses it keeps our community surviving.
