ISSUE: Our 2012 glow plug AND engine light was lit. Shop diagnosed recommended repairs - we agreed upon the repairs and expected to get our vehicle back drivable. We picked up the vehicle- 15 minutes later the engine light coded AGAIN and we spent allot of money only to return the vehicle for diagnosis. Owner recommended we attempt VW and second diagnosis was diesel particulate- how can this be? We spent allot of time and money to get the vehicle in drivable (ie no check engine light) condition- owner suggested another new equally expensive repair - Had enough run around and brought car to the professionals who was our trusted repair team and got a repair list a mile long that European never shared or reported to us. We should never have had the glow plug repair done and we should have driven vehicle straight to a junkyard A professional will admit his errors and apologize but based on the reviews we know he will become defensive, immature, and confrontational about a review that isn't positive Beware bringing your vehicle here - it's sad when people air their opinion in public and the owner, rather than take ownership, responds like a child

I had taken out and had it tested and the auto parts place had told me I needed a new alternator. I had Pheonix come and get it. They were quick and responsive and all I needed was a new battery that ended up costing me 782 dollars after towing and the 149 dollar diagnostic. I would use them again for any MAJOR issue, but I'll never return for anything I even suspect is a minor repair. Nearly a thousand bucks for a battery seems excessive.

It could be corrected; the cost would be $2065. My second phone call was to inform me the mechanic had found other issues with my car, plus the mechanic had broken my engine oil dipstick. There would be an extra charge to me for the replacement of the dipstick. My car had just gotten a complete checkup 30 days prior and except for the engine oil leak none of the other items mentioned were found at the prior inspection. when I went to pick up my car, I was directed to the credit card reader to make my payment. Upon review of my statement, I seen that I was charged for using my credit card. No one told me there was an upcharge for using my credit card. I was also told that my oil change was 10,000 miles overdue. I asked if anyone had checked the windshield sticker, to actually see when my last oil change was done. That was a collective NO. I would not recommend this A&R auto repair on Warfield to anyone.

Was in the market for a lightly used car or truck anywhere between 2020 to 2024. With the help of the friendly sales associate Ray, I settled for a 2024 Nissan frontier pick up double cab. She only had a little over 19,000 miles on her and still in good shape. When I traded in my old car, I was able to get the final price to just $5000 over the original cost of my Toyota Tacoma back in 2013. Grateful to have found a truck, with the help of Ray of course. He was nice, personable, and never once pressured me into a sale. Two or three weeks later (yesterday afternoon - I'm writing this at midnight Central because I'm a night owl), I purchased stay flatbed cover for my Nissan frontier. I had managed to assemble it on my own at around 85% completion, but the instructions it came with weren't entirely clear towards the end. I contacted Ray at the dealership in hopes that he knew somebody at the shop who could help me assemble it more professionally. With the help of his associates, Matt and Mitch, and a little bit of my own elbow grease, the three of them were able to help me save probably hundreds of dollars and helped me point out some minor mistakes I made in the assembly process. I'm not going to throw any other companies under the bus, but someone wanted to charge me four to $500 for their services. Ray and his friends helped me keep those numbers remaining in my bank accounts. The point of the story is that, if you are new to the middle Tennessee area and are looking to upgrade, but not looking for an actual new car, reach out to Ray at Nissan Gallatin, Tennessee.
