So today was one of those days where life is testing your limits. And I had to go in to get a part for my husband. As I walked in I was greeted with a smile and how can I help you; and when you're having a bad day it makes a world of difference. I asked for the part and they didn't have it but Kenny was very helpful and looked for it near by . He ordered the part and went far and beyond to make sure I got the part that I needed. He may not know but his act of kindness made a world of difference to me. I have been coming to this AutoZone for years and I can gladly say I've had no issues in getting the parts or exchanging if need be. Absolutely the worst customer service I've experienced I. A long time. Being the only one in the store, well, it's not like they were busy helping others. No acknowledgment when I walked in with 2 people at the registers. Standing and staring at the shelves of what I may need for 5+ minutes and workers walking past not saying a word. I was 32 weeks pregnant when I visited this store on the morning of 7/11/23. My 5 kids and I were on our way back home to Arizona, when we realized the battery might be weak. I had been sent to this location after the Beaumont location could not check my battery due to their device not being charged. The employee, an older man, said they could not remove the battery cover due to liability. He was still able to access the battery to check it and confirmed we needed a new battery. so my older son purchased a battery while I stayed in the car with my smaller children. my son asked "if I remove the cover, will you replace it for me?" And was told they would like the signs advertise. He then asked to borrow a screwdriver, but the employee told him they don't have a screwdriver to lend. My son went to buy a screwdriver next door and removed the cover and went inside to ask for assistance. The employee still stated he could not install it, so my son asked for other tools to borrow in replace the battery himself and the older man gave him a tools box. When he opened it; there was a screwdriver in it! My son was able to look up a video on YouTube and replace it himself. While he was capable of replacing this, I am so upset that we were refused this service. We always get our batteries replaced in Arizona without issue and the employees are always willing to help. I have filed a complaint with corporate and have yet to hear back. Why were we denied this service when it is advertised on signage? I hope no one else has to deal with such a frustrating experience. The staff there is wonderful I was out of town. My wife needed some assistance and they were able to assist her. They went out and installed her wiper blades for her vehicle. Along with scanning her check engine light which thankfully was only the gas cap which the staff Sandral explained to my wife since the light came on after she filled the car up. Iilinana assisted installing my wife's wiper blades . Kenny did a great job as my wife said going back and forth answering phones and helping the other customer. She didn't want to interrupt him to let him know how wonderful those ladies were for assisting her. Am sorry if I misspelled their names of if I did am just going off what my wife said. read more

Went in for brake rotors and pads for an Acura type S. They had the pads but not the rotors. Freddy, theP manager sold me the pads and called the store 15 miles away to reserve the rotors. Long story because of Freddy I made 5(!) seperate trips to autozone. The worst part about it is he lied to me over and over that I never told him it was a type S. If it wasn't for his constant lying and not taking responsibility for his own personal ineptness I may have let this go. No Freddy, you freddied my day in too many ways. Will no longer shop there and will suggest to my friends to think twice. read more

I needed a new battery and when I went there, the person took all my car information like year, make, model to figure out what kind I needed. There was only one type of battery so I'm like fine, I'll take it. They advertise that they'll install the battery for you but that's kind of a lie. The guy was like, I can't install it right now because there's people in the store (another lady was working one of the registers) and he told me it would take about 45 minutes to get the battery as well as install it, not including the time to take my information down for the warranty. He was kind of a dick about it too. I went else where and the whole process of buying the battery, giving the info for the warranty and installing it was like 20 minutes. I was assisted By A Daniel A he was nice in the beginning said he was out of the plugs I needed he asked if I wanted to drive to other auto zone in Banning. I stated it was to far, His Attitude changed I called OReilly for the plugs went back he was helping another customer then another I asked if he was going to keep skipping he said he would help me next then he called the next customer and said the line is there I was there before anyone else I told him I was going to leave a Yelp review he said Really so very rude and disrespectful so basically he told me to $&&$$off. The sad part is I called before I went there he stated he had all the parts another lie, and yes he was the one I talked to on the phone. Finally a place in this town that opens at an appropriate time in case of any car mishaps.

If you ask me, go to the Beaumont store. Much more attentive to the customer. I went in to have my battery tested and was told I wouldn't be waited on until all paying customers were out of the store. Just because I don't have something in my hand to buy, I'm last priority? I waited in line just like everyone else. Evidently the store personnel would rather not be bothered with taking a short walk outside to the parking lot. I don't know if this is official store policy or just lazy employees. Whatever the reason for their rude inattentive attitude I won't be back. Also don't take a battery to be tested because surely it will be bad. I recently took a Motorcraft battery in to be tested. Before I took it in it measured 6.5 volts. When I returned it was 5.5 volts and bad, according to them. I took the battery home and had AAA jump it. After a minute of running it measured 9.7 volts. After driving a short distance it now now measures 12.5 volts. Either they don't know how to charge a battery or they're lying. Desk clerk insisted it was charging for 1.5 hours and tested as "bad". Do they get a commission on new batteries? I don't trust Autozone any longer. read more

I recently went to AutoZone with a bad battery and a new one i recently installed. I wasn't sure if it was the right size, if it wasn't even the battery troubling my car at all, or if I needed a new alternator. Erik Sanchez was out in the parking lot already helping another customer when I found him. He tested my battery, alternator, and starter. He looked up all the warranty's on all my parts and got me back on the road. Thank you for all the help. This AutoZone goes over and beyond to matter sure the customer is good to go. I didn't even buy anything and they still have me a ten dollar store credit for my old battery and were more concerned with my car being fixed than selling something.
