Super grateful for the manager! I didn't catch his name but he is incredibly helpful and resourceful. Some warning lights came up on my car and I asked one of the employees to see if they could run their diagnostic machine to see if any codes came up. The initial employee was able to run the diagnostic code but was not very helpful in interpreting the results or next steps. Fortunately we asked the manager for help who quickly recommended a cheap remedy- an engine cleaner solution. And it worked! Very grateful for his assistance and highly recommend this location because of him. read more

1) Location-I was in an area that was unfamiliar to me when I looked to find the closest AutoZone. This location was right near a light, parking was ample and the lot was set up for easy entrance and exit. 2) Inside- The isles inside are wide and clear for anyone that may be using a wheelchair or any assistive device to get around. 3) People- The employees were friendly, attentive and helped me to find the items that I wanted and an extra item that I needed. 4) Purchase- Was fast, easy and at the reasonable price that I am used to when going to an AutoZone. 5) Assistance- Without asking for assistance, it was offered. I could have figured out how to change out the item that I bought but because of the offered help, I did not have to. Also, in watching Jose, I now know how to install said items for next time. read more

Go to this Autozone! I went in yesterday to pick up a bulb for my brake light that went out, and the staff there was super helpful. They found the right bulbs for me and made sure I picked up a little packet of bulb grease to ensure a better connection. As I was checking out I asked the manager if they could tell me how to replace the bulb and Tricia my cashier volunteered to come out actually do it for me! She swapped out both bulbs since the second one was probably about to go too. All that for about $10.00. Thanks Tricia and Able for your great customer service! I've been here 3 times now. The first two times were for windshield wiper fluid which is about $5. This last time I needed a new windshield wiper blade and had no clue what to do about size or price or installation. I normally go to a mechanic to do this but I'm trying to save money. Also (to be honest) places like this intimidate me because I'm clueless about car care. It's one of the reason I loath mechanics. I fear being taken taken advantage of for my lack of knowledge and being female. Moving on! The guy looking after me today was no fusss, kind of standoffish, but efficient and got the job done. I'm sure I had the deer in headlights look on my face. He found what I needed and as I paid I probably had another look of confusion on face. He offered to install it for me. I graciously accepted his offer. I guess this is normal for Autozone? I'm still figuring it all out but I watched him install the blade and was thankful for the help. If I need more auto care I think I can tackle I'll be back. read more

I went to the AUTOZONE store on Broadway in Tucson today. What a GREAT experience. DYLAN was SO helpful and knowledgeable, and within about 15 minutes after arriving, I had purchased a new battery and two new wiper blades and had them installed. I can't recommend DYLAN higher, he was brilliant and worked efficiently in the 105 degree heat with a smile. Autozone were by far the best price - I will visit them whenever I can! Went into UHaul for help with my ball & arm(not sure of the terms). I had them install the hitch earlier and knew I had a ball at home. I found the ball/arm at home only to find the ball needed to be flipped from one side to another for my new trailer. UHaul tried to get me to buy a new arm and ball. I didn't need all that! So I went across the street to AutoZone and they not only took parts off their shelves to resolve my issue but they wouldn't accept a small tip. This gal and guy were super. AutoZone on Broadway and plumer for absolutely fabulous I went there today and they ran a diagnostic from my car and it came out on the computer and told me what I needed to buy and when I needed to fix they didn't charge me a penny. Most places wanted to charge me $150 to run a diagnostic what a difference. They help me pick out a gas cap and replace my gas cap. Employees are friendly and helpful. Helped me find the right plastic part to fix my trucks tailgate. We opened the package to make sure it was the same size as my broken one. Helped me change out my car battery, sweating with me in the sun, anyone who does that gets props from me in 105 deg heat. read more

I want to mention Devon who helped me get my car running today. My battery died and I was parked in an alley near Speedway and 4th Ave, partially blocking someone's driveway. It was Labor Day, everything was closed, and none of my contacts answered their phones. I called Auto Zone to see if they offered a jump service, and they don't, but I spoke with Devon who was getting off work in 30 min, and he met me and gave me a jump. On Labor Day, when he was off the clock. He was so polite, so helpful, and he has no idea how much I appreciate what he did. Afterwards, I drove straight to this Auto Zone where the guys there installed my new battery, with a 5 year pro-rated warranty (I didn't know that was an option), and I was on my way in about 20 minutes. This is the second time this particular Auto Zone has helped me when I needed it most, and I will go back there the next time. read more

I wanted to grab some oil for more car as I was slightly overdue for an oil change and knew I wouldn't make it to my mechanic for another week. Walking in it can be slightly overwhelming due to all the product choices. Francisco was the salesman that ended up helping me; rather than just grabbing an oil and selling it to me he began to ask year, make, and model of my car. Awesome service and great people. Came in because my battery was acting funny on startup - they tested it, said it was bad, then replaced it for me all within 30 minutes. When I first started the engine again, it still sounded weird but they waited around until it went back to normal (the fuel pressure needed to rise). Patient, efficient, and friendly. MINI of Tempe wanted to sell me a battery w/ 1 year warranty for $215 + installation. Autozone hooked me up w/ a MINI Authorized battery w/ 5 year warranty for $134 and Pedro helped me install it. No thanks to MINI of Tempe who said I had to temove the wiper arm, Pedro showed me I didn't. He also hooked me up w/ the tools and knowhow to do the job. read more
