I had a flawless and wonderful experience with Alex Rosas (sales) and David Valenzuela (manager, financing). I would recommend them for any purchase, I won't be back for a while because they sold me a WONDERFUL vehicle that will last me for decades. I had been looking for an older 4Runner with under 100k miles. I needed something bigger for my family and most of all, reliable. I really wanted a Limited in Black. Two days before, I had found a 4Runner Black SR5 with 69k miles in Phoenix, not the options a Limited had but I didn't think I'd find one. I was so excited. I had gone through the process at another dealership, ran my credit, sent a contract-only to find out they sold to someone else. I was extremely disappointed and disheartened. A couple days later I found the 2015 Black Limited 4Runner with 77k miles at Chapman Honda Tucson. I figured the other one I hadn't gotten was blessing in disguise because I found the car I ultimately wanted at Chapman Honda. I forget what they call it but it was like a "preview" because it wasn't ready-they had just gotten it in on a trade in. This was a One Owner truck and in fantastic condition. I sent my interest form and 5 minutes later-a gal from Chapman called me. She told me someone would call soon, and they did. It was Alex. I immediately came down, I didn't want to lose the vehicle. I was greeted at the front desk warmly and they called for Alex. He was very kind and attentive. Asked if I needed something to drink or if I was hungry. The vehicle was in the shop going through inspection. He said we could go check it out and we did. The service men were so nice when we came. They told me what a gem this was, the previous owners really took good care of it and did all the scheduled maintenance. I took my test drive and I was sold. Because the vehicle was not ready, I did put a deposit down on my card. This insured that the vehicle would be held for me. There were lots of inquires. The deposit was refunded when I signed my paperwork. They addressed all issues with the vehicle. The tires still had good tread but because they were out of code (the date) they replaced them all! The battery was not great, and they replaced that as well. Didn't have to ask, they just did that because of their inspection and taking care of their customers. I opted for the tint because it was a 2015 and it was bad. They removed all the old tint and returned it with a ceramic tint with a warranty. It looks great!! They gave me the top dollar for my trade according to Kelley Blue Book which was fantastic. David got me financed, higher % because of the year of the vehicle and I understood that. It was a great deal and my daughter will drive this in 10 years. When he was processing the loan, he found a better rate for me than we initially thought. Another kudos! All in all this was a wonderful experience. This is my second used vehicle purchase from Chapman Honda Tucson and I would refer any friend and family to Alex and David. I have purchased many vehicles over the years. Over those many experiences, I have never had an easier and more pleasant buying experience than I did with Chapman Honda in Tucson! After a long and arduous search for my next vehicle, I found it online at their dealership. I submitted an inquiry on a Sunday night... and Elizabeth Cota (Liz) from Chapman reached out to me shortly after they opened on Monday morning. We had a nice chat and then she went to work - taking and sending pictures and videos of the vehicle and getting me an acceptable price for my trade. I made the almost two-hour drive from the Phoenix area and she had the vehicle cleaned, charged, and ready for my test drive. An hour or a half later, all paperwork was completed and I was out the door with my the keys to my new vehicle! Some common pain points in the vehicle buying process are the length of time that it takes and the handoff to multiple dealership folks... but Chapman has solved those problems by cutting out the "finance guy" and training their salespeople to handle the entire transaction from front to back! Liz was my salesperson and would also have been my finance person too. I was fortunate that I did not need to finance my new vehicle, but based on how easily and quickly Liz worked through everything else, I am confident that it would have been painless (and maybe even fun)! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST DEALERSHIP! They sell pre-owned cars and don't assist with any functions of the vehicle! Their response is that they don't sell new Lincoln cars, and don't have the time to show how it works. I had to go to a Lincoln dealer only to find out that it would cost me $100 more to reset the exterior car locks, after I was locked out!
