I recently had a problem with my steps and the cabin batteries dying even when hooked to shore power. Nathan fixed the steps and told me the cabin batteries were holding a charge. I took the RV home and the next day the cabin batteries were dead. We charged them and hooked them to shore power and the next day they were dead. The internet told me to look for something I was not sure of so I called Trotters and asked them to have Nathan call me when he had time. I live 25 miles from their shop and if it was a quick fix that would be great. Today I got a call from Valerie who said Nathan said they weren't dying there. No offer to answer my question. No offer to take a look at it. Just nothing! If he didn't want to do the job or was incapable of doing the job, just say so, but they gave me nothing! Basically gave me the brush off with no explanation. I know a shop in California that will fix it but I find it sad I have to take the RV 300 miles to find a shop that cares about their customers and reputation.

My husband drove 2 hrs to RR Hitches as we live off grid because our spring broke on our water…read moretrailer & we couldn't get any water. The guy who waited him was not pleasant at all & proceeded to tell him that the spring he brought in they no longer made but he had another spring the same size. He didn't mention it might not work. So after my husband got home he found out they (he bought 2 as he figured it would be smart to replace both) wouldn't work as they bowed. He found another spring at our neighbors place and proceeded to replace it. Now we were low on water so he made 3 trips (takes about 3 1/2 hrs because of the road & weight) and after all this drove back to Kingman to return the springs. Another 2 hrs to Kingman & damn if wasn't able to return them as their receipt states you only have 15 days & then if you want cash there is a 25% restocking fee! He bought them on Feb 26, 2026 & today is March 16, 2026 & they are closed on the weekend. So we are out $422.00!! Oh & my husband is a Vietnam Vet too, so being Vet owned doesn't mean much. Though my husband admits it was his fault for not looking at the receipt, I had thought we had at least 30 days to return the merchandise as is the usual policy. We will never return to do business with this company again & I suggest you don't either! They definitely don't care about repeat business!
