I don't know what happened. I have been taking my RV to Trotters for about 4 years now. Nathan always did good work and the prices were fair. I recently had a problem with my steps and the cabin batteries dying even when hooked to shore power. Nathan fixed the steps and told me the cabin batteries were holding a charge. I took the RV home and the next day the cabin batteries were dead. We charged them and hooked them to shore power and the next day they were dead. The internet told me to look for something I was not sure of so I called Trotters and asked them to have Nathan call me when he had time. I live 25 miles from their shop and if it was a quick fix that would be great. Today I got a call from Valerie who said Nathan said they weren't dying there. No offer to answer my question. No offer to take a look at it. Just nothing! If he didn't want to do the job or was incapable of doing the job, just say so, but they gave me nothing! Basically gave me the brush off with no explanation. I know a shop in California that will fix it but I find it sad I have to take the RV 300 miles to find a shop that cares about their customers and reputation. read more

I needed two 36" 1/0 wires cut down to 22". They did a EXCELLENT job. Trust me many shops do a sloppy job using the wrong tools. Outstanding service, very friendly and helpful folks. My wife and I were returning to California after our trip thru Arizona, New Mexico, and Colorado. We stopped to fill up at the Flying J on Andy Devine Ave. in Kingman. When my wife came out, she noticed that the undercarriage of the trailer had come loose, and folded underneath. We managed to limp over to Trotter's RV Repair to have it fixed. We figured that we would have to get a motel room for the night, at the very least. The owner had ok'ed us to come over, and they put their guy Dustin on it. We came in at about 2 PM, and he had us back on the road by about 3:30. And without telling, the price they charged was more than fair. Let me tell you, that if we lived close enough, nobody else would ever work on this trailer. All the folks there were absolutely a dream. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Thank you guys. They give you a time for pick ha ha finally went in and told them I want my rig...Not fixed dent in front they do not walk around when you check in so guess what "that was there". Sign says 125. hour for labor they charge 175.00. These are new owners and I suggest go anywhere else no matter how far if you want you rig fixed. I do not recommend this place. read more

These guys are awesome and better than anything we had in California (which usually took weeks or even months). Now a Kingman resident, we had some tune and tweeks needed on the 5er. They did it in record time. Our cousin came down from Oregon in a class A and had some issues. A part was needed that would take 14 days to get the part then 2 days to install. Yes, it did take 14 days to get the part but Trotter's put in on in 8 hours and at half the price quoted! We really appreciate Trotter's and would recommend them to all who have RVs. read more

AMAZING! I had been sent to three different RV repair shops prior to Trotters RV. My fridge fell out of my Forest River unit and destroyed the inside. James payed attention to the details inside the trailer and even modified and built a better stable/frame for our fridge so it wont fall out again. He also repaired our "nail wall" (a failed attempt of fixing a wall from another RV repair shop in Las Vegas). And made sure when fixing the flooring everything matched up perfectly! Nate hit all the bases on my list of things to be fixed and some. He was able to get us a new countertop (as the original was brutally scratched up and dinged). Valerie is by far one of the hardest workers around. She kept me informed through the whole process (several months of going back and forth with Forest River) and even informed me of some recall issues on our unit that Forest River failed to inform me and Valerie made sure to get these issues resolved and fixed. She is knowledgeable, kind, and obviously really good at what she does. I will be going to them from here on out and referring family and friends to them also. read more

Went to trotters to sell a fifthwhell, they said 10 percent my wife and I said ok bottom price 4,500 sold in 18 hour they told me for 5,000 I was happy had them put a solar system on my new one. After some research found out they sold my fifthwhell for 13,000, needless to say I got ripped off for 7,200 very mad and disappointed. I don't know how the owner sleeps at night. Karman will get them. They tricked me good. Mostly upset about the way they suck you in,knowing they are going to rip you off. The employees here are amazing! The two women at the counter were understanding of our generator situation and tried to help us troubleshoot as best as possible until one of the mechanics was free. Nathan arrived and was able to inform us quickly of our generator problem on our rented motorhome. He gave us a little tutorial and was SUPER helpful! Our motor home trip to Las Vegas was interrupted just 75 miles east of Kingman by a wind storm that ripped away a section of our roof. We located Trotter RV on line and called. They told us to come in and they'd see what they could do. At the RV repair shop we learned the damage was extensive, the materials would have to be ordered and would take about two weeks to arrive and then another 5 days or so to install. Operations manager, Nathan and two of his men, Ron and one other whose name I did not get, dropped what they were doing and in cold, windy weather applied a temporary fix to get us on the road again within an hour. My wife and I and our air-conditioner breakdown at 105°, here in Golden Valley. We are close to Kingman, and called Trotter's RV ask them if they could repair it or replace it. Trotter's RV said yes we can replace it as it's nine years old. They had to order it as it was 15,000 BTUs, they had 13.5 in stock but I wanted a larger one. It only took two days to get it in, they called us and had in that day. I highly recommend them, and the price was reasonable and in-line with other repair dealers. Nice to find an honest dealer while you're traveling, and very unusual in my experience. read more

We had our Airstream furnace stop working while on a two week trip. So I thought it would be a good idea to have it looked at so we wouldn't have to freeze at night. Well they put someone on it right away and he worked for over three hour. They replace the board and the sail switch but it still wasn't working. So after some phone calls to the manufacture it was decided that the furnace needed to be replaced under warranty. So we paid the bill and left happy that at least we know what's wrong. A week later we tried the furnace and it worked, it's worked ever since. So they fixed it after all and we don't need to go through the hassle of putting in a new furnace. Trotter's is a great repair shop. So if you're in Kingman and need help with your RV I highly recommend them. Better rates the California. read more

We have a one year old rv and have had 3 repairs to the furnace so far //. Ron the technician had it fixed in less than an hour while rv dealerships had us wait up to 4 hours to find and fix the problem . We are so very pleased with the service and would recommend Ron and the entire staff for any repairs. read more

Nominal labor rate $100.00/hr. inflated billing labor rate $300.00/hr. OUCH! 5/21/'18 I brought in two trailer hitch ball mounts requesting that the 2 inch ball be removed from its existing mount and placed on the new mount. The process consists of running an impact driver on the old mount to remove the ball nut, then placing the ball on the other mount and running down the securing nut with the impact driver then inserting the swaybar ball into it's hole and running the nut down It takes 5 to 10 minutes max. Trotter's RV bills out labor in 1/4 hour increments, fair enough. When I got the bill it was for $84.29 consisting of a labor charge $75.00, parts $8.50 and tax $0.79. I told the cashier it doesn't take 3/4 of an hour to run the ball off mount and place the ball and run the nut onto the other mount. Furthermore, I brought the mounts and balls into Trotter's and they provided no parts. The cashier called the assistant manager over who looked at the work order then back at the cashier and said, "Barry's having one of his moments" and wrote over the $75.00 charge $25.00 and left. I asked the cashier what parts where provided given that I brought everything in. She told me, "you'll have to speak with Barry". I waited about 10 minutes for Barry to appear at the front desk and asked two questions, why had I been charged $75.00 labor for the work? Mr. Barry looked at the invoice and said, "why are you complaining, it's been changed to $25.00". I then asked him why the parts charge of $8.50 and the sales tax on non-existent parts? He responded it represented a shop charge for tools, shop rags and writing up the ticket. I then asked him, "how many shop rags they had used?" to which he responded, "I'm not taking it off", then turned and walked away into the darkness. Interesting! Trotter's RV advertises heavily on the local radio stations yet they attempt to charge a labor rate of $300 per hour by inflating the labor time involved then charging a non-existent "Total Parts" charge of $8.50 plus tax and referencing it as a flat rate "shop supplies" charge. Given what has transpired, I'M NOT A HAPPY CAMPER read more

Like so many others, our trailer's A/C went out in August while starting a 3 month trip. 113 degrees without A/C can become critical very quickly. We stay in Kingman at an RV Park, and the camp host recommended Trotter's. We called and they told us to come in right away. Within 15 minutes they had diagnosed our 5 year old A/C unit's compressor was fried. Unbelievably, they had our model in stock. Within two hours we were back on the road again, with a very reasonably priced unit. It is still 100+ degrees out, but our trailer has never been so cool and comfortable. I have never had such good service by someone who really knows RVs - from new awnings to electrical to interior remodeling. The prices are amazing (especially in comparison to the ripe offs in Scottsdale area) and the work perfect.
