Update: I called and spoke with the owner, Joe. He spoke with all his employees regarding this and listened to my side. He then gave me some of my money back. He stated he would make sure his employees have better training so that this type of thing will not happen again. Thank you Joe for taking care of the situation. Original post: My family of 6 was stranded about 16 miles out of Kingman on Tuesday. Adan's was the only place that could come out. We needed to replace an axel on our camp trailer. At first they seemed very helpful but once they got us in the shop everything changed. They told us we would be back on the road by the next day (Wednesday) and recommend we get a hotel. Wednesday they said they were looking for the axel in town and if no one had one they would order it and we would be on the road the next day. I asked costs and they quoted me with tow $1100, I asked about their veteran discount (advertised on their business card) "we will work with you" was the response. Thursday came and they say our axel missed the truck but will be here by the next day (Friday). We go and talk to the place that ordered it for them in town and they tell us it could be over a week and he has no idea when it will be in. We live 3 hrs away. Had they been honest and say it could be the next day but could potentially take days we wouldn't of spent $100's in a hotel a food and would of gone home and waited. When my father who has been a mechanic for 50+ years called to get more information because all of us felt they were not being truthful and giving me a run around. Eric proceeded to cuss my dad out so my dad disconnected the call. It finally came in the following Tuesday and the camper was fixed by the next day. So their 24hr fix took a week. They then charged me over $1400 and when I bring up the first quote they say "the hours we have in this we are practically giving it to you for free". The main person I was talking with (Eric) conveniently went home early the day I picked up and wasn't answering his phone so I had no choice but to pay the bill since the worker had no power to change it. After we got our trailer back I found grease handprints all over both sides and back corner on my camp trailer. They didn't even clean up after themselves. This place does not care about the families/people and tell you what they know you want to hear and change charges with no notifications until you pick up. The owner was very hard to talk to. It took 10 days to get a DEF cap to my DEF container that mixes with my diesel & a glo plug from Las Vegas. I am traveling all over the United States. He knew I was coming from Vegas & I was headed to the Grand Canyon. I had to cancel my trip to GC & make my way down to TX b4 the ice, cold weather & snow in the mountains. IF you have the time & $1000's of $$ to spend 10 days in a hotel & a rental car. $2500 & 10 days later. Take your RV there to get fixed. So far my RV runs good & it should with a new DEF cap on my DEF tank & a new glo plug for $704.00 & 10 days later. 9 1/2 days waiting & just the morning to fix it. read more

I brought my Freightliner in for a new transmission. They tell me its ready to pick up. I pay for it and then talk to the mechanic James who did the work. James lies to me saying he test drove it and its all good. From the moment I put it in drive. It was obviously no good. If shifting hard and slipping in and out of gear. Apparently there was an issue communicating with the transmission computer via the data port. Which they didn't fix intern not being able to program or reset the transmission computer. I bring it back and talk to the owner Joe. Joe tells me that I should have told them to fix the data port. I mean, are you fucking kidding me Joe??? The customer is supposed to tell the mechanic shop how to do the job??? I also made the mistake of asking them to diagnose my cooling system because my engine would run a little bit hot going up hills. They charged me $1700 for a diagnosis, replace the radiator stating it was 80% plugged, and the thermostat, a hose and a couple clamps. After taking the truck out for a drive, the engine got hotter than it did before I gave it to them to work on. When I brought the truck back, I let James the mechanic know what was happening and he looked at me like I had nine different heads. He wanted me to pay for a new thermostat and he would do the labor for free... after I just paid them $1700 to check things out plus parts and labor. One of these days these guys are going to screw somebody that doesn't mind burning their shop down. read more

So the only reason I am not giving 5 stars in the driver's lounge was really dull. No free water. No TV. Nothing to read. Just a place to sit. However, Benjamin contacted me on messenger when I was looking to replace the power steering pump in our car. We brought the car there, and within a few mins of taking the car back, he let us know that it was not a hydraulic pump but an electric one. Since we supplied the part, he suggested that we see if we can find the needed part ourselves to save money. They ran a diagnostic which was about $93 dollars, but they gave us all the info we needed to find the part including a diagram. I would recommend them. Everyone there was really nice. read more

Don't ask this company to repair your truck. They are robbers and will charge a very high price. The price you asked over the phone is different from the price after the repair. Their attitude is very bad. I really hope that fewer people will be deceived. God bless you. I would like to remind you that if you let this company repair your car, it is best to use text messages to ask for the price, otherwise they will not recognize the previous price. When you go to the site to repair your car, it is best to confirm the time. They will add more time to your work and charge you more money. Our water pump started making clanking noises as we drove through Kingman on our way to Los Angeles. Unfortunately it was 2:00 PM on a Saturday and the first couple of places I called said to bring it in Monday morning. One place wouldn't fix it for ten days. Meanwhile I've got a loaded van, a wife, and two dogs. John Payton at Adan saved the day. He worked through the night and we were able to get on our way Sunday morning with a new water pump. John was very personable and capable. Did an excellent repair job and I thought the cost ($1,100) was reasonable considering it was an emergency on a Saturday evening. read more

If I could give a lower score I would. A company truck owned by this company made an unsafe lane change and sideswiped my car on a hwy off ramp. When we called the company the person who claimed to be the owner of the company was extremely rude and profane. He refused to give us any information but claimed to know that I had rear-ended his driver and left the scene of the accident. He said that since I had left the scene of the accident without filing a police report (also untrue) is was just too bad and I would have to deal with it. If that's the way they treat people, I would never never do business with this company. read more

They should have a zero star available for a place like this. This place is a ripoff. Unprofessional and rude. My truck broke down. I called them for help. They not only did not fix the problem but messed up my computer and made the matters worse. Then they told me that the guy who attempted the repair was really not a mechanic or technician and was on the phone for 2 hrs trying to ask someone what to do! Then they told me I have to tow the truck to them that would cost me $185 or hr and minimum of 4 hrs. After that they are gonna charge me $125 pr hr and he guessed he could spend anywhere from 4 to 40 hrs!!!. I just told them not to touch my truck. Next day when a real technical showed up from another reputable shop, he had to first fix what Adam repair shop screwed up them fix the actual problem. The whole repair took an hour and my truck is now in NY. Do not trust this shop. They will take you for a ride. read more

BRIAN was sent to us to repair air lines so that we could be towable. JIM the tow truck driver, told Brian exactly what he needed to do the Job! Told him tools needs. Size clamps and hoses needed. Told him exactly where to find the main air leak. Brian accomplished absolutely nothing except a good lesson on how to use the F word! He kept whining and complaining the whole time there from 11:30 pm to 3:00 am! Quoting Brian.... " I am too fat to get under this f-ing thing! This thing can't be fixed!" I over hear him on the phone..."I can't fix this F-ing thing! It can't be fixed too much damage. Melted to far up the F-ing coach! I am too frustrated. How do you bi-pass the air lines? I don't know they are all up my F-ing ass hole!" And on it went. My husband asked him why did you come if you can't do the work?....crickets.... than Brian said "the only way you are going to get off this highway is to loosen the brakes and haul ass with tow truck!" In the morning we were sent someone from another company that was very professional, to the point, honest. HE HAD EVERYTHING FIXED IN ONE AND A HALF HOURS!!!! ANNNNND GOT OUR GENERATOR RUNNING AGAIN! OH AND WHINING BRIAN TURNED OUT ALSO TO BE A SELFISH PIG BY THROWING ALL HIS EMPTY MT DEW AND WATER BOTTLES TO THE ROADSIDE. REALLY COULDNT BELIEVE HE DID THAT BUT YUP HAVE PHOTOS TO PROVE IT! ABOUT 5 BIG BOTTLES The only thing good with the adan company is JIM THE TOW TRUCK DRIVER. HE was a gem. Has great customer care ability/ compassion! He felt just awful he had to leave us behind. In fact the next morning he drove past and saw we were still sitting there and STOPPED TO CHECK ON US. He told us it just wasn't right being treated like this.
