I forgot to mention they changed my transmission coolant hoses without asking me, they used regular rubber hoses, which get eaten up by the coolant, Definitely poor craftsmanship probably using cheap parts, & poor professionalism, wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone,

My dad had been having the same issue with his car on and off for the past few months, it had been in and out of shops, but the one it was in the week previously thought they had fixed the issue and he had had no more problems. so we're about 3 hours into the trip, just past Augusta, and his car dies. the power just keeps going out, and for the first few times, it would recrank but immediately die again. then it stopped cranking altogether. We're stranded on the side of I-20 with no idea about any sort of shops around the area and no idea as to whether any of them are going to be open on a Saturday afternoon. I had the brilliant idea to hop on Yelp to search for shops from my sister's blackberry, and I used my cell phone to call every single shop listed. Liberty Hill was the last one on the list, and the only one who answered the phone. The owner of the shop was very nice, explained that he wasn't at the shop, but he had his calls forwarded to his cell phone. my dad explained the situation, and the owner said he could have his tow crew come pick up the car and take it to the shop, but he wouldn't be able to get to it until monday. the crew was there within 10 or fifteen minutes (crazy fast!) and they were very nice about the whole thing. The car was fixed (ACTUALLY FIXED THIS TIME) by Tuesday, and in short, this shop saved our asses in what could have been a pretty terrible situation.

I finally decide to call and they tell me the pistons i brought need to be replaced. I would have gladly bought new pistons if i would have known but noone called. The man on the phone says "i dont know who you talked to but we dont install used parts". I reply "i talked to you and you could have told me that when i dropped everything off". When i get there nothing is ready. Crank is not installed, no piston rings, no rod bearings, no main bearings. They cleaned my parts ground my valve seats and diddnt put anything together. I got boxes of loose engine parts and they charged me $663!! Are you kidding me? What kind of mickey mouse operation gives you a dixie cup with your valve keepers upside down in a box of loose parts??

They'll tell you what they are capable of and if it something outside of their expertise they will refer you to someone who is. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. If you have something in need of machine work or need engine parts check with these guys first. They'll be up front with you and if you decide to have them do the work they'll give it their 100%.

That's when I turned to Yelp! After calling around the area for varying estimates and getting the song and dance that usually goes with repair shops, I decided to give Mike a call at First Choice. He was friendly and able to give me a ballpark estimate, but didn't promise anything until inspecting the vehicle. After inspecting the vehicle, he was able to diagnose the problem and then ordered the correct part. No pushy up-selling or scare tactics either. Before I knew it, my car was repaired and I was ready to get back on the road and back to work. I felt that I also paid a more than fair price for the repairs as well. Hands down I'd recommend Mike for any repairs that you may need for your vehicle. I'll make sure I call him first before considering elsewhere.

Back in September, in the evening, my son ran over a huge screw that got stuck in the tire. The stupid security lug nut wouldn't come off, the treads in the key were messed up or something? All I know is neither my husband nor my son could get it off. It was ridiculous. We all needed our cars the next day, had no idea what we were going to do... I got online to see if there were any automotive places still open, or SOMETHING. It was almost 9:00 pm. I saw Bennie's, and that they were open 24 hrs, so I called them up. Jeff was very nice, I explained the situation, and he said he could have someone at our house in about an hour, and quoted me a price to put the spare on or patch/plug the tire, whichever could be done and/or would be best. The tech they sent out tried and tried, but said he didn't have the right tool to force that lug nut off, so he would plug the tire. That's what he did, and it worked perfectly!! It was amazing!! I think it was around $150 to pay by card, and I gladly paid every dime, lol. To be in a situation where you need your car, but it's broken, it's late, etc. is so stressful. Having someone just show up to your house and fix it on the spot for a reasonable price is just AMAZING. Now, fast forward to today, November. Same son noticed the tire was flat while he was at work. He has to leave in the early morning tomorrow to drive to Texas for a wedding this weekend. This is so not good. He was able to purchase another key from Lexus dealership, still couldn't get the lug nut off :-/ We called two auto shops, neither could fit him in today :-/ So I remembered Bennie's and called them up. Jeff answered again, I told him the situation, he asked me to have my son send some pictures and info while he called the manager to ask about the warranty on the plug they did before. He called back and said unfortunately the warranty period was over, but they could come out with the right tool this time and try to get the lug nut off. They were at my son's work within 45 minutes!! They were able to FINALLY get that stupid lug nut off and put the (great condition) spare on. Crisis averted and my son can leave as planned in the morning and make his friends wedding :) Also, it wasn't the first plug that failed, there was another puncture in the tire, so they plugged that too, and put the old tire in the trunk for a spare until my som can replace it. Seriously, these guys are life savers.

After they took the $300 deposit of course.. BIGGEST SCAM IN GEORGIA!!! The first crew that was sent couldn't even get the job done not even sure if the guy could read. The second crew advised me to drive a mile WITH NO TIRE on I-20 to the other side so his equipment would work properly lol.. COMPLETE JOKE!! And to top it off I was charged $980 initially for TWO TIRES that not only took 7.5 hours but they also tried to make it right by taking $200 off after causing me to do a whole work shift sitting in the hwy. Then I was promised discounted tires and haven't even smelt them.. save your time and money and call someone else!! Worst part is I gave them every opportunity to do what was right. Even offered for them to pay me back in payments (as I heard they are struggling due to their inexperience and poor management practices.) I gave them all receipts, was without my vehicle for weeks and even proved they caused damage by two separate mechanics (one being Ford dealer) and they still claimed they aren't responsible. Bad business and worse ethics. I hate to see small business struggle and hate posting bad reviews but people need to know this is not the same place it was. The owner even told me there are other truck places in town and I suggest everyone seek them out. Trucks and Moore and Dealer Options have been around a long time. From the first phone call to the final pick-up date we were treated with respect. We had many questions. All of them answered. They quickly contacted our insurance company with a very reasonable quote. We were told at the get-go that the work would take 8-10 days. On day 10 we were called to pick up the car. Work is superb. We used a rental car from Enterprise and they picked the car up from the body shop which was so convenient. We certainly hope we don't need a body shop again but if we do we will definitely call Jimmy & Dena first.
