The person at the counter was very friendly and helpful. They did have some of what I needed but not all. That's OK because I know the part was a shot in the dark being a specialty part. The things I don't like is the parking lot is narrow and they don't carry items in a way that allows you to buy it in the quantity you need. Like fuel hose. They only offer packs of 18" long pieces and because they are pre packaged it makes them pricey. Why not carry the rolls and sell it by the foot like it use to be done. Will you find your basic needs here? Yes but beyond that you may want to try a different store.

Called me, her granddad, and of course I went down there to help. I brought some tools and a voltage meter with me. First thing, Checked battery output voltage with a voltage meter and reading was around 11.6 volts. Not a terrible reading but the engine wouldn't start. Not even crank. Made sure battery terminals were on tight, Did tighten one, but engine still not starting. Had jumper cables. Jumped started car! Nice. Checked battery voltage again, reading 13.6 volts. Checked for date on battery, hmmm- 2018. Six or seven years old depending on the month. Time for a new battery. With car running, granddaughter and I drove to Advanced Auto on 4018 Washington Road and Flowing Wells, just across the street from Gerald Jones Auto Group mall. It was our lucky day! On duty was the most friendly and knowledgeable sales associate you could ever meet, Allie,. Allie just knew exactly what to do- check battery terminals, check, look over battery for any bulging areas, yes one side is slightly different, get battery testing machine- hmmm- battery showing not good- Replace. Now most people would say "well it started with a jump, so maybe the battery just needs a good night's change to bring it back to life. Well, maybe that would work, but battery is over Six years old, car driven for school and work by a young woman, and let's face it- do you really want your granddaughter to get stuck somewhere at night? So we bought a new battery. Now sales associate Allie, really knew her stuff. Got the correct battery and did need some help from sales associate Ken, and not only installed the new battery, but also replaced the nut and bolt on the battery terminal that was stripped and could not properly tighten the battery terminal. Allie did her work in a most professional manner with a friendly smile! Advanced Auto is lucky to have Sales associates like Allie and Ken. I recommend that if you need a battery replacement or any other service required parts, and looking for great customer service then I heartily recommend going over to Advance Auto Parts on 4018 Washington Road in Martinez.

After reviewing the code in her 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe, the car needed a new engine, and it was a recall. Initially, the service team provided excellent service. We paid nearly 2,000.00 for suggested service surrounding an engine replacement. We live 3 hours from this location and when it was ready, we drove to pick it up. When we drove about 17 miles, the check engine light came on again, so we called and they told us to drive it back. After reviewing the code, we were told it was the catalytic converter and that had nothing to do with the recall. We were told it was safe to drive home and if there were any issues, we could take it to the local dealership, and the engine issue would be covered. When we got home, we took the vehicle to a local mechanic to check the converter. They called me in and told me to stop driving it immediately. The manifold cover was damaged, and oil was leaking all over the place. I called Taylor Hyundai, and after multiple attempts, by phone and text, from both my daughter and I, I finally got a call back. I was told to take it to my local Hyundai Dealership. So, I did, and I was told by service it was not their problem and only the dealership that did the work can look at it for free. So began my journey of trying to reach Taylor Hyundai. It's been almost 2 weeks. Between my daughter, my wife, and I, we have left several messages and cannot get ahold of anybody but service. Every number they transfer us to goes straight to voicemail. We have received no call backs after leaving several messages. No texts responding to a call back. This is the most terrible service I have ever received by any company. At this point, I will have to reach out to Hyundai USA.

So I brought it to Aiken's Finest and they said the A/C seemed to be blowing cold and so they didn't touch it, didn't charge me, and remarkably, it has been working fine ever since. I brought the Silverado in for an oil change last week. Left it the night before my appointment and dropped the keys in the night lock box. My truck was ready promptly the next morning. No big deal. The…read moretechnician diagnosed the issue, provided me with a quote, and told me the vehicle would be ready later that same day. Approximately 30 minutes before closing, I received a call asking if the shop could keep my vehicle until Monday because the repairs were not yet complete. I explained that I needed my vehicle that day. The caller stated that they would call me back, but I never received another call. I went to the location myself and found that my vehicle had been disassembled, making it impossible for me to take it home that evening. On Monday evening, I was contacted and told that my vehicle was ready for pickup. I arrived, paid the service fee, and left. While driving home, the hood of my vehicle unexpectedly flew open, causing damage to both front fenders. Upon inspecting the vehicle, it was discovered that several bolts had not been replaced and that the hood latch was missing. When I returned to the shop, I was extremely concerned by the lack of urgency regarding what had happened. No one offered an apology, and a manager was not available to address the situation. I was asked to leave the vehicle at the shop and was told that a manager would contact me. I never received that call. The following day, I returned to the shop and spoke with the manager, Terry, in hopes of resolving the situation. He asked what could be done to make things right. I requested that my vehicle be repaired, that I be provided with a rental vehicle, and that my original service fee be refunded. Terry stated that he would submit these requests to corporate and keep me informed. Later that day, Terry contacted me and stated that the shop's insurance would cover the repairs to my vehicle. Two repair estimates were obtained. While waiting for the repairs to be completed, I was able to drive the vehicle. Unfortunately, after driving it for several days, the A/C stopped working again, so I returned the vehicle to Express Oil. Express Oil subsequently took responsibility for having both the A/C repaired again and the body damage addressed. Unfortunately, the bodywork performed by the repair shop they selected was also unsatisfactory. The fenders had noticeable gaps, and the hood did not sit flush with the body of the vehicle. I was contacted twice and told that my vehicle was ready, only to discover that the A/C was still blowing hot air. Overall, Express Oil had my vehicle for nearly a month while attempting to resolve the issues. I eventually contacted the Regional Manager, but my call was never returned. Additionally, I never received the refund that I had requested. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. I expected my vehicle to be properly repaired and returned to me in safe, working condition. Instead, the initial repair resulted in additional damage, followed by repeated repair issues, poor communication, and an unresolved refund request. Based on this experience, I will not be using this location for future vehicle services, and I cannot recommend it to others.
