They also turn rotors, which I believe they are the only parts store that does it anymore. The two main issues I have is the web page is a little clunky to use and their customer's perks is not as good as their competitors which is the reason I only come to o'reilly's for the hard to find stuff.

On the day of I received no calls, emails or texts and they did not come to pick up my car nor did they reach out for cancellation or rescheduling. I attempted to call twice around the fifteen minute late and hour late marks and was not able to contact anyone as their AI was not set for prompts with missed appointments. Look elsewhere, especially if your car is in good condition and only has a minor problem you're not willing to fix.

They gave me the correct battery and charged me extra money. However, 8 weeks down the road, the battery wouldn't even hold a charge. When I tried to return it in Waynesboro, they pointed out to me that the battery was 2 years old. When I called the Augusta shop they claimed they had no record of my sale and unless I could find my receipt there was nothing they could do. Now I'm out $200 on a battery that didn't even last me 8 weeks because when I exchanged it at the Augusta store they exchanged for a battery sitting in their stockroom that was 2 years old.

So on a day where I feel the Task List is growing more than shrinking, I jump into the PT to make one stop and then return home. But that day, it was not to be. A quick charge through the jumper cables and I was back up and running. But then I knew, where do I go from here? Again, not my first time dealing with a PT and a struggling battery so I knew Autozone was always willing to help. Within 10 minutes one of the team members was checking the battery and confirming what I assumed, it was time to replace. Again, not more than 10 minutes later the job was done. He had cleaned off the battery terminals, replaced the battery, and conversed about why the Church's Chicken across the road had closed. I finally decide to call and they tell me the pistons i brought need to be replaced. I would have gladly bought new pistons if i would have known but noone called. The man on the phone says "i dont know who you talked to but we dont install used parts". I reply "i talked to you and you could have told me that when i dropped everything off". When i get there nothing is ready. Crank is not installed, no piston rings, no rod bearings, no main bearings. They cleaned my parts ground my valve seats and diddnt put anything together. I got boxes of loose engine parts and they charged me $663!! Are you kidding me? What kind of mickey mouse operation gives you a dixie cup with your valve keepers upside down in a box of loose parts??

They'll tell you what they are capable of and if it something outside of their expertise they will refer you to someone who is. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. The things I don't like is the parking lot is narrow and they don't carry items in a way that allows you to buy it in the quantity you need. Like fuel hose. They only offer packs of 18" long pieces and because they are pre packaged it makes them pricey. Why not carry the rolls and sell it by the foot like it use to be done. Will you find your basic needs here? Yes but beyond that you may want to try a different store.
