Warning: Don't Ever Buy from Batteries Plus…read more Last year, I bought a Yellow Top Optima battery for my Honda CR-V for over $300. The car sat for just one week, and when I went to start it, the battery was completely dead. I tried contacting Batteries Plus for a week with no answer. The following week, I finally got through to someone. They told me: "No problem, bring it in. If it's bad, we'll swap it out since you're under warranty." After that, I spent two more days calling them with no answer. Today, I finally reached them--only to be told they won't replace it because they consider it "battery neglect." So apparently, according to them: If your car sits for a few days or a week and your battery shows low voltage, they call it neglect. They will not honor the warranty you paid for. Bottom line: I spent over $300 for a battery and warranty they refuse to stand behind. Think twice before buying from Batteries Plus. Update : according to them any battery that test below 10v will mot be warranty ... keep in mind thats every battery that is bad .. they are under the impression that batteries with dead cell will still hold their 12v charge and base on that belief i cannot get a battery i payed over 300 dollars warranty

I then noticed that the speaker wasn't working on my phone. No problem that should be a easy fix, right? Took it back the next day and was able to get it repaired. Free of charge. However I had to wait for another 45 + minutes the next day for a simple mishap that wasn't there when I originally came in.

I had left a message after business hours on August 1, and I was impressed when they returned my call promptly at their 10:00 a.m. opening time the next morning. The staff was professional, courteous, and thorough. They clearly explained the diagnostic and repair process and tried every reasonable option to restore my phone. Unfortunately, they determined that the motherboard was fried and could not be repaired. Although the phone could not be saved, I was extremely pleased with their technical knowledge, honesty, responsiveness, and outstanding customer service. I highly recommend Cell Phone Repair to anyone needing reliable and professional phone repair assistance.

My nightmare began with a screen replacement on May 26. Immediately after the repair, the…read morereplacement screen was hypersensitive, glitching, and clearly malfunctioning. I also noticed a very small chip along the side of the screen and returned to the store that same day. Instead of addressing the defective repair, the technician claimed the screen issues were somehow my fault. He then proceeded to press firmly on the exact location of the tiny chip, causing the screen to spiderweb and crack further right in front of me. The damage visibly worsened due to his actions. When I returned to speak with the manager, he grudgingly agreed to replace the screen for an additional $100--but only if I removed my negative review. Reluctantly, I removed the review, paid the money, and had the screen and protector replaced *Just HOURS later, the screen went completely black* I immediately returned to the store, where I was told the issue was caused by liquid damage. That explanation was impossible--the phone had not gotten wet or been exposed to liquid in any way during the few hours since the repair. After considerable back-and-forth, the manager finally agreed to repair the screen again. Now, *just FIVE DAYS* after that replacement screen was installed, the phone is once again completely black and non-functional. At this point, there is a clear pattern of failed repairs. Most concerning was being pressured to remove a negative review in exchange for a partial remedy to a problem that should never have occurred in the first place, so I will NOT be removing this review. I will be taking my phone elsewhere for repair, and I will be escalating this matter to CPR Corporate and any other appropriate consumer channels.
