I have always received great service at this Apple Store! Last night was no exception - Mark and a coworker helped us sort out two 2015/2014 Macs to get them running again. One was wiped and needed a new operating system - Mark got that started immediately, even though I had been unsuccessful at home. He gave us great info about Macs in general, especially about CleanMyMac. The last time we were here, we got excellent help with our iPhones and even took a class on making movies. Shut down the "store" down! The employees are NOT helpful. They told me that they just "roam" the store and can't spend time helping us. Every time we've ever gone there before, we got great service. It's helpful that Augusta has an Apple store because the next one would probably be a significant distance away. Apple has an aesthetic, and the clash between that and the center of Georgia is considerable. I haven't tried to get anything repaired here; I've merely visited to poke at some devices to see what I wanted and then bought them online and picked them up here. This was passably efficient, though I held off on some larger purchases to wait for improvements. So kind of typical for the company as a whole. read more

This is a convenient location for an Apple Store. The only fall back is it can be hard to get an appointment with a specialist same day or within a few hours of trying, but service is friendly and they are well staffed. They are extremely busy again given their location. However, when purchasing products and/asking questions they are quick to help. read more

I love the Apple Store. The layout is always super clean and organized. I came here to get my iPad reset and the scheduling of my appointment was smooth. Everyone was really professional and patient with my questions. Driving from SC to GA for a broken screen is intense and I strolled my agitated self into the Apple Store. Well I was instantly greeted by Stacey who was warm, welcoming, and eager to assist! I was promptly seated. To my surprise there was little wait (considering most Apple stores)! Dev walked me through each process of Apple Care to fix my phone and I courtly be more grateful. There were plenty of worker bees ready to assist, chat, and inform. LOVE THAT! 9/10 would be a 10/10 but they don't serve Gatorade. read more

While traveling to SC, my ManBaby needed an adapter for his MacBook. The ordering/payment from my iPhone & pick up was quite easy. My order confirmation provided me with a barcode, I saved it to my Apple Wallet & we were was ready to go. Luna met us when we walked in, showed her the barcode, she scanned & guided us to the Adapters section...an efficient process. Been waiting here for 20 mins ask two employees for help to buy a phone. They have greeted everyone else except for us and have served 5 people and got them phone before us. We just want to buy a phone. Plus if five employees are talking in front of the main floor and the store have very few customers you would think they would be able to help us but no. I went into Apple with my phone that I couldn't send or receive texts or calls. I saw 2 techs . One ran a diagnostic scan & then Mark came over told me to move from where I was sitting ( rudely) asked me the problem of my phone. He then told me that my phone was internally destroyed & I needed a new phone or send it off to get fixed. I went over to T Mobile & told Rashida what was going on. Worst experience ever!!! Spoke with apple support about getting a replacement phone through my Apple care that apparently means nothing. To ship my replacement it would arrive in 3-5 business days as well as a 10 day authorized of almost $1100 on my credit card to cover themselves in case. That wasn't an option for me so the representative told me if your local Apple Store has the replacement in stock the replacement can be done in store with no hold on my card..... being that Apple is getting my old phone on the spot. Now I proceed to call the Apple Store directly to only see if the phone is in stock and for over 1 hour I could not reach a live person. With much frustration I got in my car drove out there to find out from the technician that a replacement device could not be given to me and a proper diagnosis would need to be done. What's the point of paying for Apple care and being told by live chat the options available. I'll be taking my business and personal cellular needs away from Apple. What a joke! read more

I had an OK experience when it came to the overall service and when it came to the overall conclusion which was to not warrantee my phone, they were not entirely clear. At first I was told that it was under warranty earlier on in the conversation. And then I was told it was not. I respectfully understood and was ready to walk away. I made a few jokes and was about ready to leave when the manager standing next to the genius said some very disrespectful things to me and I called her very rude and proceeded to walk out. I love that Apple has come to Augusta but the location and the amount of traffic inside the store is the reason for the 2 stars. If you order online and pick up it is definitely a 4 star process but if you wonder in and just want to shop it's a 2 star life. You may be greeted or helped it just depends on the mood. Worse than bad customer service is a liar! Go to the Apple Store Augusta, I know at least one is there. I entered The Apple Store at 5:50 PM and the greeter took my name and told me an hour and 10 minutes. I looked at my watch and asked him ... give me the bottom line ... what time should I be back. He said 7 PM I went to walk around the mall for an hour and got back at 7 PM exactly the time the door greeter told me and the new door greater stated I was not due until 8:30 PM. The new stated that is what the time was from the start. The 1st greeter just plain lied to me. I could have accomplished something in the time that he screwed me around. I walked around the store a while and simply got more and more upset as I waited and wasted more time. I am a small business owner performing Forensic Engineering Services and bill out at $178 to $250 and hour. The hour and a half I wasted costs me between $267 and $375 that will not be recovered and my phone is still not been looked at. There is nothing wrong with the 2 1/2 hour time had he informed me of that. Is Apple going to reimburse me ... I doubt it. Does Apple care ... I doubt it. Unless something changes my mind I am done with Apple products and will do my best to spread my opinion that the "help" there are not to be trusted. Such a cute and lerfect size Apple store with very knowledgeable employees with great customer service. My visit was my first and everyone was very friendly and the service was quick which is perfect if you are in a hurry or always on the go. I went in knowing what I was looking for and they had a student promo while I purchased my items so that was such a plus because I didn't know there was!! Everything on display was working and had majority of the products so you could really get hands on which is awesome because I like to know what I'm investing money into before I do. I have used Apple for many, many years and never had an issue. When I took my laptop to the Augusta Mall location for repair, I never got a straight answer. Each employee I spoke to gave me a different answer. One employee said it would be a 1 week turn around time. A few days later I call to check on the laptop. Then I'm told it'll be an additional two weeks, because the laptop wasn't sent to the repair center. I got in contact with the repair center, who stated they didn't see a claim for my laptop, and had zero information on the drop off. They stated repairs rarely take over 3business days including shipping time. It seems like the Augusta location does not ship out their items in a timely manor, resulting in the extended wait time. I will be going out of state, and don't have 2 additional weeks to wait, so I requested a cancellation of the repair and to send the laptop back. This issue is still ongoing and the store is not willing to assist with getting anything corrected. They've stated they cannot do anything to assist me with my laptop and won't give an explanation as to why. When I call the Apple support, they say there's been many issues with inconsistency with this location. I'd advise driving to another location or mailing/purchasing from online whenever possible. read more

Who doesn't love the Apple Store? I dropped in with my sister. She'd just purchased a new phone at AT & T and needed some assistance retrieving her Apple ID. She forgot it and wanted to transfer many of her music and app purchases to her new phone. The staff was great. Helped us right away. They even put her new phone case on, which she didn't purchase from them. However, the process for seeing or making an appointment with a Genius is kind of tedious, but I think that was because the first person who helped us was a little confused on what we were looking to have done. The store is great. There's always a lot of loitering. Lol! I usually don't look around too much because I'm an impulse shopper when it comes to that store. So I'm always looking at accessories to enhance my current products. Parking is a little challenging, but it's located in the Augusta Mall's promenade area. However, there's plenty or parking on the lower level and you can take the elevator up. Great place! read more

Let me start by saying iPhone 8 Pluses are supposed to be water resistant. They are advertised as being able to go into water up to a meter deep for up to 30 minutes. I got my phone on May 17th from my closest Verizon store. Saturday night (June 16th), I dipped my phone in the pool for about 30 seconds total (not all at once). It started acting weird IMMEDIATELY after I got out of the pool. First it was just saying I didn't have a SIM card (obviously I did). The buttons also stopped working properly. Then the bottom of my screen started getting darker. By Sunday night, my screen stopped turning on but I was still getting sound. I brought my phone in today between 1 and 2 and they told me there was a two hour wait... first of all... TWO HOURS? Plus they needed a phone number to text me at. If I didn't have a second phone or a friend with me, I would have had to stay here in this cold a** store the whole time. So I come back and the employee that is assigned to me says that even though there's water damage, they'll replace my display for like $200. I'm like alright, let's do that. She says it'll be another two hours... [insert "are you f***ing kidding me" face here]. Fine. I went to Panera. Come back at 5:30 and nobody says anything until about 6. A guy comes out to tell me my phone was not fixed because of water damage. I'm like ??? What??? At this point, my baby-booming, 50-year-old-white-woman alter ego is about to pop out and ask for a manager. I'm pissed. I have to replace my whole phone. It's 6:30 now, I have to be at work in one hour, and I'm STILL waiting. I'm mad as hell. I should have stuck with Android. read more

My goddaughter broke here headphones so they were still under warranty so of course I had got the text "please take me to the Apple store to get new headphones". The loving person that I am I went afterwork in the pouring rain and picked her up and on to the mall we went. After finding the store located outside of the mall we entered and there were at least 12 employees hanging around. One approaching us asking us if we need help and took her number and said wait 15 minutes for a text from them. After waiting 30 minutes for the Tex and then waiting another few minutes someone took care of her and she had her new headphones. Looking around this store they have everything and anything you can think for you Apple gear. If I were a Apple person I would most definitely be there for my needs.she told me to get a iPhone but I've been a Droid phone person so long. Maybe next year, like after my tax refund comes. I took my MacBook pro in to have the battery replaced. I was told it would be $200. I was fine with that. They took my computer for ten minutes returned and informed me that NO, they would not change it. I was told to "drive the wheels off it" and that was that. I have never been so disappointed. So I went to the store today and after waiting in line I was told that they were out of the iPad and have been for a while. When your phone starts to take over itself and you begin to wonder if those futuristic dystopian ideas of technological takeover might be happening in your pocket--who do you call? Well, all of your tech friends first of course. But after that you call Apple's Help Line and get an appointment for the genius bar. Or, that's what I did. My phone really was taking over itself (texting random code words like "ieesssssssss" to incite rebellion in the gadgets of others and trying to delete things that I wanted probably in favor of making room for the evil-takeover-plans that obviously would require more memory than say, my contacts.) and I was worried that after only a year of ownership that I might be forced to part ways with this particular device and purchase a new one. After Googling around for quick and easy fixes a friend called Apple for me. From there I was walked through the tedious problem of resetting my forgotten Apple password and then my phone was wiped. Of everything. When we reloaded everything to my phone I hoped that finally that evil genius hiding inside my phone was finally gone for good... but alas, it was not. And the tech set up an appointment for me to this Apple store location, in the hopes that they could resolve my issue. I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and was greeted from the entrance by a tall gentleman with an iPad and Apple watch and then directed by that same gentleman to the back genius bar. I waited for a few minutes for my... genius to arrive and Ryan was great! He was very kind and helpful and seemed sympathetic to my plight. He probably deals with this kind of stuff all day, everyday but he didn't make me feel like a lame-o that couldn't operate her phone. I appreciate that---I tend to pride myself on fixing my technology without service technicians... so even making the appointment made my heart sad. I was then passed to another gentleman, this one named Antoine, and he waited with me as my phone reloaded everything---I never questioned why I had so many apps as during those 45 minutes of waiting for them to reload. As a side note, an Apple store, or maybe just this specific location, seems like the perfect place to people watch. Employees that are between clients dance down the isles to the pumping music all the while clients explain in varying tones of frustrated to overwhelmed the things that are issues with their technology. Sprinkle in the few children running around asking their parents for droids and the older clientele asking for advice about the purpose of having both a phone and a watch from Apple... well, it was an overload... but I'm thankful for the technicians' help. Went here the other night to check out the new macbook pro. To start with there is a guy checking everyone in right at the door. It was kind of irratating as I tried to move out of his way and he moved right back in my way so I had to talk to him. What happened to just being able to walk in a store and browse ? Second no new macbook pro display models yet. Very unlike Apple normally have them on show even though you can't purchase. Plus same old ton of people waiting on the genius bar with one guy operating it and a lot of Apple sales people just standing doing not alot and chatting between themselves. During this crisis many companies have been able to ascend above it all and help those in need; But one company will never try to help anybody, even during this crisis. That company is Apple!!!!! Apple has closed all of their stores down,in addition to their customer service is less than pathetic, and that's being generous. After talking to multiple "customer service representatives", they send an email for me to reply to, for an answer (that I might never receive), just for me to give the same information I already did multiple times. How is that in anyway Customer Service? Everything that they're doing is making me hate that disrespectful company, that I previously gave thousands of my dollars for their products in the past. I never want to buy another Apple product of any kind. I guess it makes sense their entire system is anything but customer friendly and now ..... so are they. With all the hoops they make us jump through because they are incapable of lifting a finger to help anyone in need (besides stock holders and millionaire's). I have to say this much and I hope everybody else agrees, Apple does not deserve any of our business ever again. What we have to do is get rid of it, go to Android, go to Google, or anything else besides Apple, because they are the issue. They are trying to make this pandemic last so that don't have to do squat and still get our hard earned money (for some it seems to be less and less every day). Anyone .... Everyone... Just think about what companies have been there during this tribulation, if you have a brain and believe the same as me, close down every single Apple account you have, disconnect every phone and buy something besides these Satanic, Destructive and Cataclysmic Apple products.
