I contacted G&S to repair a broken laptop screen. They suggested I contact Dell & purchase the…read morescreen from Dell. I did this & it saved me money. When the screen arrived I took the computer, power cord, & new screen to G&S. Eric estimated it would be 1 to 2 hours of labor. The following morning Eric called me, said he checked my Dell account & discovered I had "Accidental Damage" coverage on my laptop. Eric said that meant it could be repaired for no cost to me by Dell. When I picked up my laptop & the new screen Eric had printed all the information, gave me the 800 # to call, suggested I return the screen to Dell for a refund. I returned the screen to Dell (they furnished a pre-paid FedEx label) & will ship my computer this week in the pre-paid (by Dell) FedEx shipping box. This is a perfect example of why people go to large corporate companies to do business and we are loosing the local businesses . There customer service policies is not sustainable.
