I'm sharing my experience so others know what to expect. I brought my vehicle in for service, and unfortunately the work performed did not resolve the issue. After the visit, I discovered additional problems that were not present before, and the situation left me feeling frustrated and unsafe driving the vehicle. Communication throughout the process was also disappointing, and I did not feel that my concerns were taken seriously. I just want to say what a pleasure was to speak to the CSA at the front desk. She was the only one willing to help me when I needed help. I had a check engine light on my vehicle and she told me that she would take care of me when I came in she fought for me and had not only wonderful people skills, but amazing customer service skills as well, her name was CYENT and I commend her, and everyone like her for her amazing attention to detail and persistence, and making sure the customer is taken care of ,the Mechanic provided good information and gave me peace of mind with the code my vehicle was out his name was Cecil, and I thank him for his professionalism and his expertise The ASM, however did not seem like he wanted to help me because they don't like doing engine diagnostics on Sundays or they're not equipped to do engine diagnostics on Sundays had not been for CYENT and Cecil they wouldn't have even been able to take a look at it as long as she is still here and working here, this is a store I would truly recommend to anybody read more

Made an appointment for an oil change at 4:00pm--at 5:30pm, car was still sitting in the parking lot untouched after I had asked the customer service personnel TWICE regarding the length of my stay. Customer service was disinterested, unkind, and disrespectful. I have never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes for an oil change to begin in my life. Terrible customer service went for a diagnostic told them it was miss firing cylinder 6 and all lights come on dash and truck loses power and runs warmer than normal charged me 110 to tell me that cylinder 6 is miss firing i said that is what i told yall refused to return keys until paid. I got my tire changed. I told them to use my old one. They never explain anything about their policy. They just put a new one on my car. If they can't do it what I said, they need to explain to the customer. They are scammer. I told them to put the old one back one, they just refused to do it. My husband called them. I got my oil changed recently again at this store and as usual everyone was professional and courteous. I had an appointment for this transaction but I often need something without notice and they have always been able to accommodate my needs. They have been working under the same difficult situation as the rest of the country and yet have maintained very positive and upbeat. I recommend them to all my friends and family. read more

Strongly recommend Sears instead of Pepboys. We just left here after being quoted $80 for an oil change. And went to Sears and was charge $44... for the same oil and sears actually isn't that busy on a Sunday before 1!! I recommend shopping around before settling for pep boys. read more

If I could give them a negative rating I would!!!! They stole my car! It was a Buick Roadmaster. It needed a fuel pump. They put two on. Neither worked. They charged my for labor twice. Then they told me to get a fuel pump from the dealer. The dealership wanted over $500. All the while they were also apparently charging me storage , for a car they couldn't fix. That would have run the bill up over well over a $1000. For a fuel pump! Also, even if I had gotten the fuel pump and taken it to them , they would have charged me a third time for labor. The car was not running, and they wanted me to pay all of this, just to get my car back, in the same condition it was in to start with. When I couldn't pay, they just kept my car!!! I have been told since then, by other mechanics, that what they did to me is illegal. Guess, because I was a single woman, they figured they could get away it, and they did. Beware. I've been here 3 times. First time we dropped the truck off and spent a few hours in Augusta waiting, we eventually just left the truck there to be picked up the next day (my husband and I drove separately). The second time we didn't wanna take a chance because they said it would take a few hours. So we come back this third time to get tires rotated and balanced, they said it would take an hour and a half to get to. It's been 3 hours and they JUST got to it. I understand they are busy and it takes time but I wish they'd be honest. We drove separately again, we could have just went home but we felt like waiting a couple hours wasn't too bad. Do not come here if you don't have time to wait literally all day Total time spent waiting: 6 hours. Literally 6 hours after they said it'd only be 1.5 hours. Do not go here!!! read more

When you offer a discount online to book your appointment and then you arrive and wait for over 2 hours, it's a problem. I asked the receptionist what was going on and she said there's a glitch in the system and more than one person can book an appointment at the same time Has nobody thought about fixing this little glitch?!? Wow I was disappointed with these people. I spoke to the corporate office because I was unable to get through the website properly, they told me they had the tires I needed in the store and scheduled me and appt. I dropped it off and left, then got a call 45 minutes later when they told me they didnt have my tires and it would take DAYS to get them from Atlanta. I said fine and left my car there. Called back 4-5 days later and they told me the guy said I wasnt sure I wanted them....which I never said. They finally finished three days after that and when I went to pick up my car it was awful customer service. Atleast 4 people walked through while I was standing waiting to be helped and didnt even acknowledge me. Just a horrible experience. read more

The service technicians were very helpful. I get the impression the rest of the team isn't customer-centric. The Store Manager, Raja Johnson is an idiot with the personality of door stop. I asked him questions on several occasions only to be ignored. Nothing. You walk in the door and he mopes around like your presence is a bother. Witnessed this with several customers, three walked out of the store. Wait times are ridiculous. Long story short, we will be taking our Fleet business elsewhere next time. read more

Good service but they need to have chair while Coustomer are waiting. I had to stand for almost two hours.

The customer service here is HORRENDOUS!!! I initially took my vehicle here because my check engine light was on and OReilly auto parts checked and it had a code saying it was camshaft position timing. When I took it there, they said it was because my oil was a little low, mind you I JUST had an oil change. While there, I asked them to diagnose my ac and to see if there was an electrical issue because my lights kept going out after just replacing them. They said my ac just needed a recharge. I recharged it. Two days later, it was out AGAIN. I took it to butler and they were able to find a leak within an hour of dropping it off to them. They charged me three diagnostic fees. One for the supposed oil, one for the ac, and one for the lights even though they didn't diagnose ANYTHING with the electrical. They said in order to diagnose the electrical, they would have to replace the headlights and see if they blew. They wanted to charge me $55 per headlight. That is ridiculous when it literally takes 5 minutes to replace them. I know because my fiance did it for me. So I basically paid over $200 for them to do absolutely NOTHING. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE THROWING MONEY AWAY!! GO TO BUTLER! read more

I needed new brakes so I came here to get that done!!! As I stated in another review I know nothing about cars but how to get in them, get out of them, and drive them.....that's it!!!! I'm kind of leery about getting work done on my car because I know some establishment take advantage of women clientele. So I went in to the service area and told them the problem I was having and the gentleman asked me a few questions about my car which I didn't know, but he found out the answers himself. He told me what I needed done and he took my car back to have it worked on. I sat in the waiting area and watch a few morning talk shows. I struck up a conversation with another patron having her car inspected and she was saying that she works on her car herself and looks on YouTube for all the answers to her car problems. I thought that was soooo dumb to me!!! For a person like me that knows nothing about cars, I would look like a fool trying to work on my own car. I'm not a professional and that's what you are paying them for. But I guess she was trying to save money or be cheap. She ended up finding out what was wrong with her car and was going to do the work herself. She is probably have tons of problems with her car as we speak. It took almost an hour and thirty minutes to have the work completed and it would have been quicker than that because they didn't call me back as soon as they were done. The technician that worked on my car came to the lobby to tell me he was finished. I ended up needing new rotors as well so the cost was about $200 for all of the work. I was pleased with it because I needed the work done and I didn't know anyone else who could do it. I was pleased with the outcome of this experience. read more

I am from out of town and had a brake problem. Although they were very busy they got my car in and out quickly. The guys there were very professional and friendly and my overall experience with them was excellent! If you are ever in Augusta and need work done on your car I recommend them.
