We specifically told them at drop-off that the issue began after two fuses were moved -- yet instead of checking what we told them, they jumped straight to claiming the Electronic Servo Brake Control Unit had failed. That's an extremely costly part and would have meant a repair bill in the thousands of dollars. When we took the car to Honda for a second opinion, they immediately confirmed the problem was exactly what we said from the start -- two misplaced fuses. Once corrected, the car was back to normal at almost no cost. This shows a serious lack of diagnostic ability and integrity at Galceran Auto Electric. They ignored the customer's information, failed to check the basics, and attempted to push an unnecessary, very expensive repair. On top of that, they charged for diagnostic work that clearly wasn't done properly. We strongly recommend caution: always get a second opinion before authorizing repairs here. A good shop listens to the customer and starts with the basics -- Galceran Auto Electric did neither.

What I experienced was psychological pressure, financial manipulation, and a complete lack of professional ethics. After inspecting the car, they insisted on additional repairs, which I agreed to based on their urgency. They then sent me a credit card authorization form, which I completed using a valid corporate Visa card. Later, they claimed it couldn't be processed. I offered a second card in person (from my associate), which they also refused. They rejected three separate Visa cards with no written explanation, and told me I must pay in cash. I waited over two hours for a police civil standby after feeling unsafe and coerced. No one came. I stood outside, a woman alone, surrounded by men who held my vehicle until I complied. I was finally forced to pay $1,327.24 in cash -- against my will, without any transparency, and no official receipt policy disclosed in advance. This place uses payment manipulation to trap customers and make them feel powerless. Avoid at all costs -- and if you ever have to go here, bring a lawyer, a witness, and a police report form.

Review of one of my visits to Freddy's auto to help future customers. The date in question is 2/2/2024, and I went to get a car diagnosed at the cost of $48 with tax due to what I thought might have been a bad starter because the car wasn't turning on. Sometimes I had already replaced the battery. They NEVER ran any computers or diagnosis machines! They told me it was the starter. When I asked how much it would cost to replace the part, they gave me a print out of the cost to install a new starter which broke down to $508. I told them no because I couldn't afford the cost, so they charge me $48. I gave the old man $60 in three 20s, which he gave me $3 back in change. Sorry I don't know this guy's name. It's not the first time that old man has stolen a tip from me. I usually leave tips, but I felt I was robbed, so I will never be going back to this establishment. Horrible services.     Service Manager pretends to be a mechanic and tries to enforce whatever he says even though he has…read moreno idea what he's talking about. Recently i purchased aftermarket wheels and tires. Nothing crazy, I went from 18's to 19's. I have a base model Q50, the redsport comes with 19's anyway to give you an idea. My suspension is stock. As soon as he saw the tech about to start to perform an alignment, he rushed across the store to tell him & me that it was impossible for him to align the car. Due to the "aftermarket wheels". That the machines hub arms would get stuck and damaged and that he didn't even want to risk it. I wasn't an expert in alignment so I decided to leave without argument. He's explanation was that for caster, he would have to turn my wheels and there wouldn't be any space to turn them with the hub sensors on 3 to 9. Sure enough another Firestone aligned my wheels with no issue at all. No rubbing, nothing interfering with the machine or my wheels. First of all, my Q50 doesn't adjust caster. Second, when the machine starts the alignment process, it asks you to move the car forward, thus moving the hub arms to about 7 & 1. Clearing any fender that would get in the way. I remind you my wheels are stockish diameter with stock suspension. I know it's hard to explain but he basically wasted my time with misinformed information. He's not a mechanic, he doesn't do alignments. The actual tech himself was speechless and didn't say a word. Just looked at me with a face like "what am I going to do, he's the boss". A complete waste of time and he used his only power in this world to enforce his pettiness. I won't be back, The Firestone by coral way is the best one I've been to! Service advisor also Store Manager Alexis which is the gentleman who always take care of all 3 of my vehicles made the order on Thursday and on Friday they did the change. It took them about 1 hour to have it ready. Unfortunately at the time I picked up my vehicle I noticed the whole rim was COMPLETELY SCRATCHED when they took the rim out of the tire. Alexis & Technician Jose Maria tried to convince me it was dirty and them by simply cleaning it; it will be fine. I told them to double check and show me the inner side of the rim. THE ENTIRE RIM WAS COMPLETELY SCRATCHED! I will be taking it back this Friday November 17, 2023 for them to try to fix it. BE CAREFUL when you bring your vehicle check everything before and after! This is the first time after 15 years but who knows if it has happened before. Let's see if they actually fix their mistake! Avoid this place at all cost!
