We brought our 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid to Galceran Auto Electric after it displayed warning lights and wouldn't shift out of Park. We specifically told them at drop-off that the issue began after two fuses were moved -- yet instead of checking what we told them, they jumped straight to claiming the Electronic Servo Brake Control Unit had failed. That's an extremely costly part and would have meant a repair bill in the thousands of dollars. When we took the car to Honda for a second opinion, they immediately confirmed the problem was exactly what we said from the start -- two misplaced fuses. Once corrected, the car was back to normal at almost no cost. This shows a serious lack of diagnostic ability and integrity at Galceran Auto Electric. They ignored the customer's information, failed to check the basics, and attempted to push an unnecessary, very expensive repair. On top of that, they charged for diagnostic work that clearly wasn't done properly. We strongly recommend caution: always get a second opinion before authorizing repairs here. Forced to Pay $1,327 in Cash After They Refused Every Card - Stay Away I came here for a routine oil and filter change. What I experienced was psychological pressure, financial manipulation, and a complete lack of professional ethics. After inspecting the car, they insisted on additional repairs, which I agreed to based on their urgency. They then sent me a credit card authorization form, which I completed using a valid corporate Visa card. Later, they claimed it couldn't be processed. I offered a second card in person (from my associate), which they also refused. They rejected three separate Visa cards with no written explanation, and told me I must pay in cash. I waited over two hours for a police civil standby after feeling unsafe and coerced. No one came. I stood outside, a woman alone, surrounded by men who held my vehicle until I complied. I was finally forced to pay $1,327.24 in cash -- against my will, without any transparency, and no official receipt policy disclosed in advance. This place uses payment manipulation to trap customers and make them feel powerless. Avoid at all costs -- and if you ever have to go here, bring a lawyer, a witness, and a police report form. read more

I am a repeat customer, who has had good experience at this location (119 Ave & 8 ST.) but this last time was a little different. Took my vehicle for some electrical work due to water intrusion via the sunroof. Vehicle was there for several weeks and I could not get a strait answer of where the repair was at. More importantly, I kept asking "How much is this costing me"... Three (3) weeks later, I get a call the vehicle is ready. Electrical issue found etc. The price I was told over the phone was a surprise! WOW! I went to pick up the vehicle and paid for it, but voiced my concern to the GM who I know from before. Next day, I received a phone call from the Owner of Galceran Electric. We spoke for almost an hour and I explained everything to him in a calm and civilized manner. He advised me the lack of communication was due to new staffing and ongoing training (I completely understand). Furthermore, he as the Owner assumed all responsibility for such lack of communication and provided an amicable solution to the problem. I must say, that Galceran Electric still has my business and I have no issues recommending them to my family and friends. There are very few business left where the Owner's take an active role in customer satisfaction. I gave four (4) STARS on this review because of the initial miscommunication, but reality is this place should get a ten (10) STAR rating! read more

I will never trust these people again. They will tell you one price but rest assured it will be $500-$1000 more than quoted. The workmanship is poor which may explain the high turnover of staff. I have taken 2 cars there and have had to return every time because they didn't fix it right the first time! Beware of such predatory practices if you go there. It's all about $$$$$. Do not use these people for repairs. They charged me an arm and a leg to repair my lights and when one stopped working a month later, Yamil told me that in order to look at it again he would have to charge me a diagnostics fee, AGAIN! And If the light itself is faulty I would have to go through that warranty and he would charge me labor fees AGAIN to reinstall... because there is NO WAY that he installed them incorrectly or that anything could have come loose. They are inconsiderate and unfair and all about the money. I will never go there again or recommend to anyone. read more

Must say..I can't give this place enough stars. I think most people can agree it's really hard to find a good, HONEST mechanic anywhere, especially in Miami. But these guys at Galceran Auto Electric take great care of you, charge fair prices and are straight up honest. They were very professional, very thorough in explaining everything, and gave me an estimate of all my repairs. They did not work on anything until they received my ok. The charges were fair and the mechanics really know their stuff. Galceran's Auto came through with such an amazing price and great, quality work. The location is pretty convenient on SW 8th St. And I felt the owner, Gilbert, went above & beyond to make sure our car was back in tip top shape. Well, at long last I have found a shop I can trust where the work is excellent!. I'll never go to another car shop as long as I live in South Florida. That's great piece of mind..especially now, since our car runs great! When you are a single female new in town, finding a legit garage can be intimidating, but on the recommendation of another female friend I took my car to Galceran. Convenient because it's so close to FIU and the Turnpike. Kinda off-putting because it's actually inside the Mobil gas station. But these guys were professional, friendly and fast. I got an oil change and tire rotation and balance immediately upon arriving; they fixed a problem with my door at no charge because it was an embarrassingly easy fix (we're talking screwdriver). I don't know how their prices or quality of work compare, but at least I know they're reliable and that I'll get good customer service. That really is the key to making customers come back.
