They said they could not find the key and no tags. The car had its tags and key was located under the back left tire, as advised. Ultimately, they had the city tow the car because they did not want to work on it. The shop did not reach back out to the owner before or after the car had been towed. I would give less than one star but that wasn't an option. I called before dropping my car off and was told no appointment needed come in. My air conditioning was not working so I took my boyfriend with me on a Thursday to make sure I was given good information. The owner was so nice and said "I'll have your car done tomorrow" I thought that was kind of quick for the work I needed done so I said to myself I would expect it done Monday not the next day. Monday came and there was no answer on the phone for hours. I finally spoke with someone and they said they would look at my car. MIND YOU I was quoted a price for what was wrong and paid half of the amount as a deposit. This made me worried because they didn't even know my car had already been looked at. Owner says again it'll be done the next day. Next day comes MY CAR HADNT BEEN TOUCHED. Now it's been four days and I've gotten no update and it seems they don't even know when they'll touch it. The owner explains personal issues he was going through and I told him I would just come pick the car up. When I got there I was calm and just wanted my deposit back. He got very rude with me (mind you my bf hadn't come this time) he even said a racial slur as I was leaving in response to a personal phone call I was making in my personal phone in my car. Thank goodness, I have finally found a trustworthy mechanic in Miami! On 2 occasions I came here with vehicles I expected to have major issues $$$. Luckily, both times the repairs were minor. The owner could have made stuff up to get extra $$$ but never did that happen. One occasion my tire was ripped and needed a slab removed that was slapping my wheel well. I called the office in the morning just one day prior to a 1,500-mile road trip, and I'm so glad I decided to do so. Alan and the ET team are honest, highly professional, friendly, and patient. Before doing any work, Alan took me outside and showed me that my car had an oil leak and that my rear brakes needed to be replaced. We then reviewed the pricing, which was more than reasonable, especially considering the fact that I have a BMW and parts and labor tend to be quite costly. Alan estimated the repair would take about five hours. Since I live about a mile away, I was just going to walk, but Alan repeatedly offered to summon an Uber for me. So, I have this 2006 Honda CRV that was leaking oil. I had previously taken my other car and this car for service in the past and every thing was okay. Not a great price but average I thought. I really wanted to like this place. Four blocks from my office. The owner, Kiki was pleasant so was his son. Lots of cars especially for some reason policemen. The problem. They diagnosed the issue as oil pan leakage. They sent me an estimate of $500 that included gasket and changing oil. Of course I decided to not authorize repair as I needed time to think. I called six other auto shops and found prices from $1000 (Honda dealer) to $320. Of course I chose the one for $320 Japanese Auto in south Miami. What I found out from dealer at least was oil pan does not take gasket just sealant and has to cure overnight. This is probably is not a bad auto shop, just expensive and not sure if gasket they where trying to sell me for $40 necessary. Maybe someone knows more about this. Advice, shop around, do your homework and if possible purchase parts yourself from AMAZON, EBAY OR other places. Don't trust anyone. Good luck. read more

Faraway from my home but I wouldn't bring my car for repairs any where else. I started at their other location many years ago. I would leave my car here since at the time I was working in the area. Always have found them to be very reliable and reasonable with their prices. The owner Kiki always is very personal remembers your name and has the job done in a timely manner. They recently have moved their mechanic shop to this new location and it is a dream. They have a location close to Jackson Hospital and Civic center so if you need to catch the train to work it can be done with ease. The shop has a nice clean waiting area with television and a clean bathroom for your convenience. Allan,Kiki son is now in the forefront of the shop and he is very helpful. Allan always greets you and offer you water while you wait and give you an updates you on your car repairs. I bring in my BMW, my daughter's Mini Cooper and sons Ford truck and they always do a great job. It is more reasonable than taking your car to a high priced repair shop.
