I'm always hesitant to try new auto shops as a 20 something girl who knows nothing about cars but I'm so glad I came to Dennis. He was so helpful and kind and got the job done right away. I absolutely recommend Leon's Garage to anyone. Thank you! read more

It's been a great pleasure doing business with one of the best shops in all of Miami-Dade County. Dennis and his mechanic are top notch. They deliver the services they promise without compromising good business ethics. In a world where you feel as if the majority of mechanics and shops are just out here to literally rip-off the customer, it is more than refreshing to have had these guys as a staple in our community for over 30 years doing good, honest work that never breaks the bank. We are deeply sadden to see them go. We wish you guys all the best. Thank you for your service! read more

Leon's Garage - Auto Repair Near Me - Miami, Florida

Dennis is a really trustworthy guy. While they did not work on my car, he gave me a free consultation (I tried to give him money, but he refused) on what was causing my engine light to be on and provided me guidance on going back to the dealership and ensure they repaired my car at no cost. Will certainly be returning for any and all auto repair needs. read more

I've taken my car here several times for repairs and have been happy with the service. Leon's Garage works quickly, and the prices are reasonable for auto repair. Car repairs are scary, so it's great to have found a place in Miami that I can depend on. #servicestarshoutout read more

I decided to take my car here because of the 5-star reviews reporting how trustworthy Dennis, the shop owner, is. I have to add my voice to the choir because I received excellent service and treatment here. I had taken my car to two places prior, one of which was the Hyundai Service Center! Both places said they couldn't "diagnose" the problem because the noise I was hearing only occurred after I'd been driving it for 15-20 minutes. I found Leon's Garage on yelp and I'm so happy I did! The day I called he was very busy. He still allowed me to stop by and took the car for a little spin with me to see if he could hear the noise. Then he told me to return with the car in a couple of days so he could work on it. Dennis correctly figured out the issue and within a couple days my car was ready. I've found my new mechanic. He's awesome, and I highly recommend him. read more

I decided to try this shop thanks to the 5 star reviews and I share the satisfaction. The owner Dennis and worker are very welcoming, fair, honest and professional oh and patient with explaining a problem and providing solutions. Highly pleased and recommend read more

He did a quick fix on my car and said that I didn't owe him anything. I stuffed a wad of cash in his hand, but he would only take one of the bills. He is a real man of integrity. read more

Switched to Leon's Garage based on a recommendation, and couldn't be happier we did so. Dennis is the most determined, fair-priced, trustworthy and honest auto mechanic I've come across - and I know several great mechanics. We have been recommending him to everyone we know, because he is simply that great. On top of doing great work, Dennis also doesn't try to upsell, he does everything he can to help his customer's save money, provides very honest and detailed information and doesn't take advantage of people without mechanical knowledge. If you know your way around an engine, you will appreciated Dennis even more because he takes his time explaining what he did and why. We had a very tricky-to-figure-out car issue on an old car and Dennis would not give up until it was resolved, keeping us in the loop the whole time and making sure we fixed it at the absolute best price. We now take both cars to him exclusively. read more

Went here because car was making a roaring sound, recommended trying the passenger front bearing because that's where the sound came from. He insisted the sound came from a different source(another bearing) and he switched it somewhere else and gave me the car back still making the sound and says that tends to happen. When I asked him why he didn't take my advice he got mad and suggested he'll do it for "free" with my advice. This guy is a FAKE GOOD GUY. Later on went to another mechanic and fixed it for a cheaper price and no more sound. He took my recommendation as well. read more

The best experience with a repair shop I could hope for. Was referred here by an ex for any problems regarding autos. Didn't have the part that fit my car so he called the auto part store to have it delivered right then and there. Long story short, Denis is the man! read more

This is probably the best auto garage I've ever been to in the 15 years I've been driving. Dennis is honest, fair, and efficient. No frills here, just great work. read more

Took the reviews to heart and am very grateful. I couldn't be happier with the service, timeliness and fair price that Dennis gave me. Thanks for the great experience! I will recommend Leon's to everyone I know (that I like). read more

One of my friends referred me here. After over a decade of getting ripped off at another shop, I have finally found an honest person who told me the truth about what was wrong with my car. This honesty is invaluable. I have already sent other people here. read more

Great Service, no nonsense kind of place. Busy place so it takes a little longer, but worth it

Best mechanic ever! I have been bringing my car here for service for years, Dennis is incredibly fast, reliable, caring, and honest. Before you leave your car with him, he'll let you know exactly what you need, no surprises! I recommend this place to everyone I know! read more

Brought my brothers vehicle in for service needed brakes, air, cabin air filters and headlights bulbs changed. I asked for premium brake parts which Dennis agreed and used. I asked Dennis if he thought the 2015 Ford Taurus needed anything else and said he would let me know the next day once he looked over the vehicle. Today I received a call from Dennis advising me that the car was ready on time and only required what we had discussed and came in at the price he had quoted me. I own a fleet of trucks from light to heavy equipment and deal with mechanics a lot. Dennis is and honest mechanic that does not upsell or charge hidden fees. Very happy with our first interaction read more

This guy is awesome. I needed my recovery tank and fuel filter replaced. I showed up @ 8:00 am and he fit me into his schedule and was out of there by 8:15. I'll be going back to have him replace my brakes. read more

Best mechanic for the price that we've found in Miami. Quick, reliable, and competent. Have been fortunate to have Denis and Louis taking care of our autos for years. read more

Owner is honest and will do his best to help you out. If you live near Little Haiti this is a dependable option.

Dennis "killed" my 1998 Jeep with over $1600 of NEW parts I purchased and I installed. I towed it in to have the Neutral Safety Switch replaced (which I bought NEW for $313 from a Mopar supplier). My check engine light was on for years...code reader indicated P0700 and P0705...(transmission shift position signals not reaching computer). He did something under the dashboard...got it running...charged me $185...DID NOT install the NSS...Dennis said it wasn't the problem. Drove home, noticed left turn signal flashed rapidly in instrument panel (usually indicates bulb out), checked bulbs, swapped bulbs...not the problem (rusty ground?). Subsequently noticed headlights were not turning on with switch, radio power problems. Previously a brake repair ($245) was done which made me expect more of his quality work. Now my Jeep will be sold for salvage or donated to Cars for Veterans and I will have to purchase a replacement. Moral: Don't try to keep an old friend (my Jeep) alive by throwing money at it. read more

I am so happy I found Leon's Garage. Finding a good and honest mechanic is so tricky, especially in Miami. I have had several things fixed on my car over time and I always found Leon and his staff very honest and upfront about what to fix and what can wait. Highly recommend!! read more

Honest mechanic, the best experience with a repair shop I could hope for. Awesome service, 100% satisfied.

Came here to get my breaks repaired, best price I had been quoted in the area and such fast service! An hour and my breaks were like new. It's hard to get reliable and fair-priced service in miami so these guys are legit! read more

I have been working with the owner since 2009, with 3 of my used car purchases. He is by far the most honest Mechanic on the planet. Early bird, so he's open by 7 and closes by 4, but he works efficiently and is very very reasonably priced, might even say to cheap for the stellar services and insight he provide. And when he doesn't specialize in something, he sends you to a honest vendor near by with his recommendation! I really hope he stays open forever! read more

Dennis rocks! Finest, nicest, and most-honest mechanic you will find. I don't take my vehicles anywhere else.
