They always do great work, and they're honest. In addition, their prices are reasonable.

AAA Radiator and Auto Air Conditioning

    (137 reviews)

Perhaps not the friendliest place in South Florida, but certainly the best of breed…read more Auto air conditioning is a specialty, dealers and most repair shops will do it. But like surgery, you want a practitioner who's performed successfully as many similar procedures as possible (and in this case, as many makes and models similar to yours as possible). Roy, the owner of AAA Radiator and Air Conditioning, is the man in charge. He's abrupt and constantly on the move supervising all technicians and their performance on every diagnostic test and each procedure in the shop. And he does it in real time. Somehow, Roy effectively practices "Management by Walking Around" in a chaotic atmosphere that could turn people like me into a candidate psychiatric isolation. Once your car's been diagnosed he'll tell you your options and their related costs. And if you ask his opinion he'll tell you. I like that because Roy knows your car's air conditioning system better than you know your wife. (I'm fairly certain he doesn't know my wife.) I opted for his recommendation and asked when I could return to pick up the car. It was clear he didn't want to field additional questions but did me the favor of barking, "Five o'clock." "OK," I replied while I marched off thinking, "Damn! Same day service on an air conditioning system? Can't be." But I gladly accepted the response (otherwise I may have faced the threat of having my head bitten off). I live an hour from AAA Radiator and Air Conditioning. So I had to rent a car a mile away from the shop (a tough walk with the summer sun broiling me). And I had to "choreograph" my day's activities to assure I got to Enterprise Rent a Car, did my own occupational work in a suburb miles away, returned the car, and appeared before Roy at five o'clock. He saw me arrive at 5 and told me, "It's ready." He didn't utter another word. I stalled for a moment then walked into the office area. It was noisy, There were two women behind the desk looking down at something other than me. I asked one, "Are you allowed to take my money and give me my keys?" She looked up with a laugh and told me she was. What kind of car and what color? I told her, "BMW. White." It occurred to me I should have said, "Bentley. Metallic red." I would have liked driving away in that. But after some activity with my credit card and the printer located just outside of her reach, she handed me a receipt and my key. No signature required. She looked up at me and smiled. That was a signal our transaction was complete. I told her, "Thanks, can I get my car now?" "Yes." I walked out and came face-to-face with Roy. He put out his hand and shook mine. Roy pointed to my left and said, "Your car's over there." I looked over and saw it. I walked over to the car, got inside and started it up. Of course, I immediately turned on the AC. It blew warm air. As if out of nowhere Roy appeared and said, "It's been sitting here in the heat. It'll get cool soon." So, I put it in reverse and backed out onto West Dixie Highway. I shifted into forward and started my trek home. Soon I could feel that warm breeze bathing me in cool. Roy knew. I have the feeling under that gruff "I don't give a shit, leave me alone" exterior, there's a man who cares. He cares about his mission to diagnose and repair automobile air conditioning systems. He cares about the technicians and other employees who depend on him. And he cares about his customers. He just doesn't care to talk with his customers. I hope I never have to face auto air conditioner challenges again. Driving in an oven around South Florida is brutal. But if I ever have to get my AC repaired again, I'll steer the car directly to AAA Radiator and Air Conditioning. Because Roy's a pro. And I know hidden somewhere deep within Roy there's a heart--he just doesn't want anyone to know it.

I actually fixed my ac and then a year later they had to fix it again so they are probably using cheap parts. when I took it back the second time they left a piece of my ac vent out on my passenger floor board. I was honestly a little skeptical about coming here at first because of some older bad reviews. But once I saw that Phoenix Complete Auto Care is under new management and read some recent positive experiences, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm so glad I did. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the manager, Abdul. He was polite, professional, and even offered me coffee from their impressive machine (so many options I didn't know what to choose, lol). I let him know I was on a tight schedule due to a doctor's appointment, and he assured me my alignment would be done within the hour. True to his word, my car was finished in about 30 minutes! Not only was the service quick and efficient, but the price I was quoted over the phone was the lowest I found in the area, and that's exactly what I paid. No surprise fees, no upselling. As a woman, especially a blonde, I've had plenty of mechanics try to overcharge me. But I've also worked on cars myself, so I know when something sounds right and when it doesn't. Abdul's pricing was not only fair, but transparent, and I never once felt like I was being taken advantage of. I also asked for a quote on a future rack and pinion job, and again, the price was extremely fair. I'm definitely planning to come back for that service soon. Abdul clearly takes pride in running an honest, respectful business. He's focused on rebuilding the reputation here, and it shows. You can tell he values integrity and customer trust. He's not cutting corners or trying to make a quick buck. He's running Phoenix Complete Auto Care like he wants it to be the best shop in Miami, and honestly, he's well on his way. If you're unsure because of old reviews, take this as your sign to give them a chance. I genuinely recommend Phoenix Complete Auto Care!

I don't know how to rate this. I would rather not write a review when I can not give all positive…read morefeedback. Service I rate higher, sales is my issues. So please take my rating as an average. I have always leased Infiniti's, so having that kind of service is something you get used to. My last Q60 was stollen, I decided to get a wrangler. My decision was because it was a car I always wanted. Not due in to sales pressure. If I have to say how my sales experience was November of 2020. I would give it 1 . The sales person was not helpful. They tried to get me into every model below what I wanted, kept me there forever playing their games, when I tried to leave, and even chased my car acting like they had a better deal to offer me. It was like a bad car salesman skit. At the end what we had a agreed for the down payment, was not what I paid before I walked out the door. I was too exhausted to fight, and just wanted to go home. The sad thing is I would have never had to deal with this at Infiniti. There I would test drive the car, on side streets, the highway, and where I wanted (wait that is any car). I am used to being in and out in less than 30 min with a new car. At Jeep, the sales man was too lazy to put gas in the car and only took me down side streets. To this day.... I hate my Jeep on the highway. I regret that I never test drove it to know that you can't use your blue tooth on 95. Should I continue.... No, I'll just leave it at that. I'm happy with this car for what it is, I got the Jeep I wanted. But, I will never give this dealership business. When you think of car salesman and the reputation they have.... This is the true meaning of them. Service: I can't complain. I have gone in for oil changes. Waited, or taken an Uber to work. Prior cars I was given a loaner. But, it's not a luxury car. This last oil change they did not reset my mileage to 0 for the next oil change. But, I know how to do that myself. My Jeep also is set to have an oil change every 10,000 miles. So, I am not sure why they put a sticker on the window for the next one due in 5,000 miles. I thought the days of stickers in the windows left us in the 90s. They washed it, so it looks great. They have a great area to sit and wait. You can get work done, have coffee, or relax... so no complaints. Service staff is friendly and helpful. I will give them all the s. (Sales hurts the overall rating of this location)

We called and were insured that they had them and several others in stock to choose from and that they always honour the sale prices. We drove down to Aventura, and after waiting an hour they could not find these two Jeeps, but offered one that had several scraches and a dent in it with 900 miles on it. When we asked to look at the other ones in stock they advised us that they could not sell them as they would not start and the computers were out of them. They lied and said even if they found the Jeeps we were interested in, they would not be able to sell them at that sales price, but could get one from another dealer for 10k more. Sales rep and sales manager were not helpfull and very upset that we would not put an offer in on the scrached and dented one with 900 miles on it. STAY AWAY AND DON'T WAIST YOUR TIME WITH THIS DEALERSHIP.
