Discount Auto Glass is the worst. Had a broken garage window replaced and they did a very poor…read morejob. The seal around the new glass was loose and when we reported this issue, they promised to send out a worker to take a look and never did. We asked 3 different times over several months and explained that we had water leaking into the garage. Each time they indicated they would follow up but they never did. In the end we tried to fix ourselves & then noticed that the new glass did not fit the frame. There was a gap. Could this company be any worse? Don't think so. Actually, rates no stars.

Second, he started charging us just to check what was wrong with the turning signal. He got visibly upset when we decided against the $90/hr labor he was going to charge to take off my tire to get to the turn sign which he hadn't done before so couldn't give me an estimate as to how long it would take... Customer service is zero stars. Price is 1-2 stars. The only plus is the 2% off price if you use cash or local check to pay. Otherwise, go somewhere else. My car suddenly started leaking oil recently. I took it into H&D Auto to be looked at, and they…read morediagnosed it as leaking head gaskets. They told me that "both sides are leaking pretty bad" and that the job would be $2500 plus. I got a second opintion at another shop and it turns out the issue was simply that the oil pan plug was loose. When I thought about it, I had just had an oil change when the leak started. We surmised that the shop that did the oil change didn't tighten the plug. I asked the mechanic how the head gaskets looked and he said they looked fine. No issues. No leaks. He sent me on my way without charging me. The oil leak is gone. My understanding is that the long time owner, Harry is selling the shop. He is phasing out and letting the new owner take over the work. I think when Harry was running H&D, it was an honest place to take your car. It doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
