I took my RAV4 to Global Car Care because Slip Indicator Light was staying on ...traction control problem. First, they said "rear plug" of transmission had come out and needed to replaced. Also, the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. The battery recovered overnight after I asked for my battery back to return since it was only 12 months of the 36 month of Interstate's warranty. Manager Jay told me a car's alternator does not charge the battery. Then at the end of the next day Global Car Care called to say after the test drive it was not shifting properly so needed to replace the Steering Rack and Tie Rods of a cost of $2,069.21. I declined and picked up the car, no improvement in problem. - cost of $456.31 I then took the car to Town Toyota, they quickly identified the problem as a loose steering rack bolt that needed to be tightened. They tightened the bolt and all other cradle bolts, reset all sensors, and front wheel alignment. The total cost for Town Toyota service department to resolve problem and improve drivability in a half day was $347.10. read more

I have had a very few problems working with this company and as compared with dealing with Toyota and Audi factory service, they have saved me thousands. It took a couple days for them to tell me my engine was bad and could install a new one for $13K ($13,000) LOL including labor.. I didn't mention anything about the Mid Valley diagnosis of a bad motor. I would not recommend going here. Took my car here for my ac blowing hot air. Went to pick car up paid over $900 and ac still was not working i instantly turned back around and took it back and the guy was rude and said it was working for him. 20 mins later I had a GUY take my car back to them for me and they said they'd check it out, they then replaced a relay. When I went back and picked up my car (it was late at night after I was off work so I got key from drop box) ac WAS working but my car wasnt fully put back together. 3 days later ac was blowing hot air AGAIN. They then recommended replacing another part but that'd cost another 800. So I Took it to another place for another opinion and there was just a leak and the other place fixed it and got my ac working for me for 200 and I have had cold air since. read more

I drove my car in to have some gaskets replaced; it was also running rough, so I asked them to figure out what was going on. They told me I needed to rebuild my motor and that the cost to ship it out and have it done would be $3800, (which is reasonable) but they wanted $6,000 more to install it! (Not so reasonable) I just spent $6500 there a few months back replacing other gaskets, clutch, carb, etc. so I asked if they would work with me on the price. Jeremy said he would get back to me later that day, but didn't. I called him the next day and he let me know that they couldn't do anything more to help me. I asked him what I owed them for the diag and he told me it was $580! I asked him what their diag rate was and how long they spent on looking at it, and he said that they really didn't have a set rate... WHAT? I told him that I would come get the car, and then he informed me that it is no longer running! So, here's the the problem, I brought in a running vehicle to get a non running vehicle back and spent $580 to do it. I should also add that they never even called me to tell me that my gaskets were there. I was told a week and I waited nearly two months and had to call them to find out. This is not the same Global Car Care that I worked with in the past and I won't be going back. read more

Not a good experience at all. I originally took my Terrain in for a water pump issue/leak. When I picked up the car, the service team said that they could not find a problem but changed out some gaskets. The cost was still over $1000. When I got home, the car was again leaking at the same place. I took a video, sent it to the service department. Scheduled a follow up and they still could not find a problem. Car was still leaking. Finally, they agreed to replace the water pump and agreed to charge only for the parts. The leak was finally fixed (3 weeks later). I questioned why they had to do an oil change as we just had one done, they said it required an oil change with the service. Here we are 3000 miles later; I had the check engine light come on and one of the reasons was low oil. I checked the oil.... not on the dip stick. Added a quart, still not on the dipstick. I took it to Sangsters for an oil change, they said that it was still 2 quarts low. No leaks, no smoking! Needless to say, I would not recommend this establishment if it was the only repair place in town! read more

We have a 1998 Lexus LX 470 with unknown miles. We know it has somewhere between 400-500K miles because the speedometer broke at around 440K miles this year prior to us buying it. Global replaced the heater core for us last week. We noticed a coolant leak over the weekend and took it in today. June 24, 2019 A story about customer service, above and beyond. On our way homeward last Wednesday, June 19, 2019, our water pump gave out just outside of Wenatchee. Pulling over and filling the reservoir with as much water as we could, which was draining out at a rapid rate, we made a dash into town. We were fortunate to make it, and more importantly, to land at a grocery store next door to Global Car Care. The owner of the grocery store, as well as a Porsche owner who just happened to be in the store parking lot, both spoke highly of the shop. Walking over and speaking with the service advisor Chuck, and also Brian the owner, I found two people not only passionate about cars, but very experienced, and very knowledgeable when it came to Porsche cars. Chuck looked up the parts we needed and ordered them, he said he felt there was a good chance that he would have them first thing the following morning. Since we had hotel reservations for the next two nights in Leavenworth, which was about 25 miles away, my wife asked Brian if he could call us a taxi, to which he replied "it is right outside". We handed over the car keys to Chuck, and stepping outside we found that Brian had brought around his personal car, into which he helped us to load all of our belongings. Then then he personally drove us the 25 miles to our hotel. He told us that once our car was ready Chuck would call us, and that he would then drive back to Leavenworth to pick us up, and drive us back to his shop to get our car.. ¬ Thursday morning about 11:45 Chuck called to say that our car was repaired and ready to go, and that Brian was leaving the shop now and heading to our hotel to pick us up. He asked us to please be ready to go when Brian arrived, as he had to be back in town for an important appointment at 1:00 pm. It turns out the appointment was with his mother, as it was her birthday, and he was taking her to lunch. At 1:02 we arrived back at the shop, met Brian's wife, and his mother, thanked Brian for service well above and well beyond the call of duty, paid our bill. We were on the road back to Leavenworth by 1:15. Truly an amazing experience and incredible example of customer service. Even though I am mechanically inclined, I have been taking my vehicles to Global Car Care for some of the repairs that I don't have the time or tools to complete. They always do a great job. But the real test of customer service happens when something doesn't go quite right. On my last major repair, my car started leaking transmission fluid shortly after the repair. Without question or complaint, they checked it, accepted responsibility, and fixed it the second time quickly and cheerfully. That's the mark of great service. I went in and explained to them what sound I wanted them to get rid of they proceeded to tell me it was multiple things and charged me up to $2,500 and none of those things ever made that sound go away. They took advantage of me because I'm a woman and didn't really know much about cars. They're Crooks, they're deceiving and they will take advantage of you. Their customer service is rude, also when I took the car back to tell them look I brought this in for you to get rid of the sound and you have charged me for all of these things they told me that it wasn't their responsibility. Took my Volvo in for oil leak repair knowing that the valve cover gaskets needed to be replaced. Received a quote for the repair. In on Tuesday, am suppose to be done on Thursday. Called Thursday afternoon were told car wouldn't be ready until Friday. Called Friday afternoon told they needed additional parts and car should be ready on Monday. Called them on Monday told it wouldn't be ready until Tuesday. Was able to pickup Tuesday afternoon. Pros: they did the job also washed the car. Cons: never called to say that additional parts and time was needed. Final price was $350 over estimate and we were not notified/asked for approval. read more

Global just serviced our Lincoln and repaired our brakes. The original estimate called for replacement of the front rotors and pads and resurfacing of the rear rotors with pad replacement. They took a closer look at the rear brakes and determined they did not require work. They adjusted our bill accordingly. Global could have done the work anyhow and I would never have been the wiser. So, they not only do excellent work, they are an honest, high integrity shop! read more

If you read a post on Yelp that is in some way negative relative to Global Car Care, they are ill informed. Global is one of the best run honest establishments you will find. It's basically old style business at it's best. Meaning their word is their bond and they stand behind what they sell and what they service. All at very competitive pricing. Weather you drive an import of any brand or a North American vehicle they have the experts to make the repairs. I have used them exclusively for the last 5 years on 4 diffident vehicles and have never had any issues. They are excellent when communicating with you and in todays world with so many firewalls built with voicemail etc,, you can always find Brian the owner if you wish to discuss any issues. The only reason they have such high ratings is because people do not know better to question what they are being charged for simple repairs. They are very dishonest and will lie to your face, they will try to rob you any chance they get. They are incredibly over priced compared to other local auto repair shops. In my case about $300 more! To get a diagnostic check on my car they charged me a hazardous material fee when there wasn't any hazardous materials involved. I questioned the fee and they eventually dropped it but they wouldn't have if I didn't say anything. Please stay away if you can! There is a lot of other places in Wenatchee for repairs please go somewhere else. read more
